I was looking for a persian restaurant with music to celebrate my birthday. My friend and I came across this restaurant and decided to try it. The food was fantastic- Our server, Maryam jponi, was so attentive, informative, inviting, kind and accomodating. I can't wait to celebrate my birthday there.
Our server was very friendly! Anahita was quick and responsive! We enjoyed goibg there as a team! Their Hookah and Dreaks were amazing as well! Amirreza makes the vest drinks!
Village Kabob is one of the best Persian restaurant in the this area. Grand beef and Krispy rice with stew was so delicious . I highly recommend it. The staff was so friendly. This is VIP restaurant.
Great food and awesome environment. Anahita was my host - she was very hospitable.
I love Baghalibpolo and Gheymeh They have live musics and the service is great. Highly recommending!!
Kebab Village is one of the most heartwarming places you can go. From the moment you step in, it feels less like a restaurant and more like being invited to a Persian gathering with friends. The atmosphere is small, cozy, and full of life, with staff who treat you like family. The events make this place truly special. On Thursday nights you can sing karaoke. Friday and Saturday nights bring DJs, singers, and belly dancing. On Sundays they host Mafia in Farsi, which is a fun and interactive way to end the weekend. They are open until midnight, and even if you order food at 10:30 p.m. on weekends, they are happy to serve you with a smile. They are open to feedback and improving everything ,The food is consistently delicious. I recommend the Baghali Pulao, the Tahdig with Qaymeh, and the Kebab Kubideh. The bar is another highlight. Amir Reza creates cocktails that are unique and flavorful, adding extra entertainment to the night. Meals are wrapped up beautifully with tea and sweets like baklava. One of the best things about Kebab Village is the service. They have three waiters, and I cannot pick a favorite because they are all equally friendly, hardworking, and attentive. Even on busy weekends, they make sure every table is cared for. You should try Kebab Village if you miss the warmth of home, if you want to celebrate with friends, or if you want to enjoy an evening full of music, food, and lively energy. With Neda managing and such a kind team, this place is only getting better.

I visit VIP Village regularly, and it’s always a great experience. Their music nights and fun games create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere that keeps things exciting every time I visit. What truly sets this restaurant apart is its professional bar. The bartender, Amirreza, is highly skilled, has an excellent sense of flavor, and consistently creates high-quality, well-balanced drinks with unique and memorable tastes. Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank the management team for maintaining such a high standard and welcoming environment.
We loved the ambiance of this restaurant! Staff were very friendly and kind. Restaurant was welcoming and we enjoyed the music! We also enjoyed the food: freshly baked homemade bread, Greek salad, rice, and lamb chops. We plan to go back and try other items on the menu.
Five stars aren't enough for the Beef Koobideh at Kabab Village. Every element of this dish is executed flawlessly. The meat-to-fat ratio in the Koobideh is spot on, ensuring incredible moisture and a savory depth that other places simply miss. The way it clings to the skewer shows the technique is centuries old and perfectly respected here. The accompaniments elevate the meal: the rice is airy and delicate, never sticky, and the grilled tomato (the perfect blistered texture) and raw onion are the essential, classic counterpoints. We also tried the Baghali Polo (dill and fava bean rice) with the Lamb Shank—also fantastic—but honestly, the Koobideh is the showstopper. If you are introducing someone to Persian food, bring them here and order the Koobideh. It sets the bar impossibly high.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a main course and dessert, and both exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, with a perfect balance of flavors. The presentation was also lovely, and the waiting time was very reasonable. Prices were fair considering the high quality of food and service. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a pleasant dining experience.

Decent Spot for a Night Out with a Persian Vibe Kabob Village in San Juan Capistrano offers a mixed experience. The menu is quite limited and doesn’t change much, and the service, while friendly, could be more attentive. That said, the environment is lively and nicely done. The live music adds great energy to the place, though it can get a bit too loud for conversation. It’s a good local spot for Iranians looking to party, dance, and enjoy a night out of the house with a familiar cultural touch.

We love kabobs, decided to try this place. It is in a wonderful courtyard , we walked up and saw some posters at the door showing a delicious dish with homemade pita bread. I was super excited to try those homemade looking pita breads ! We ordered a salad, Koobideh beef kabobs and chicken kabobs. The chicken kabobs were very good, but the beef koobideh kabobs were terrible. There was more filler than actual ground meat, it was almost slimy in mouth. I just could not eat them. They looked beautifully roasted, but the texture and flavor were not expected. The salad itself was very nice but they gave me a honey mustard vinaigrette to put on top, which confused me , since lemon and olive oil and a little salt would seem the standard dressing in a Kabob restaurant. We also ordered the Cherry basmati rice, which was soggy and overcooked which further disappointed . The waitress was cheerful, helpful and not to forget the Hummus was flavorful , but the store bough pita was the last straw as I glanced at the poster with freshly made pita bread .
Terrible Experience – Unprofessional and Disrespectful Last Saturday, my family and I decided to dine at Kabob Village, expecting a nice Persian meal. Unfortunately, it turned into a very disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, we were informed there was a private event for the manager’s birthday. Still, a waitress welcomed us and sat us down. We ordered two king platters and some appetizers. Shortly after the appetizers arrived, the waitress returned to tell us we only had 30 minutes to eat and leave due to the private event — something that should have been made clear from the start. Then we were told that they were out of chicken kabob and were asked if we’d like to substitute it with Cornish chicken. We agreed, only to be surprised later when the bill came with an extra charge for the substitution — a charge that was never mentioned upfront. When I questioned the waitress, she simply said, “I’m just the messenger.” As if that wasn't enough, while leaving, a white car sped recklessly through the parking lot, nearly hitting us. I flagged the car down to ask the driver to slow down — turns out it was one of the managers. Instead of apologizing, he confronted me with an attitude, saying “I saw you,” completely dismissing the safety concern. To top it off, the food was terrible. The koobideh tasted like plastic, and the chicken was both undercooked and burned. I will never return to this place. They push more expensive items without warning and treat customers with zero respect. Completely unprofessional. Avoid Kabob Village.
Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The service was beyond terrible. We waited for over an hour at our table, patiently expecting our food, only for the server to finally come over and say, “Sorry, we’re actually out of that dish.” Are you kidding me?! They let us sit there hungry the whole time without even checking in, updating us, or offering an alternative. No professionalism, no communication, and definitely no respect for their customers’ time. If they didn’t have the dish, they should’ve told us right away instead of wasting an hour of our evening. Completely unacceptable. I will never return, and I highly recommend you don’t waste your time or money here either.
