Found this restaurant while me and my fiancé was searching for authentic Puerto Rican food. And had one of best interaction of this trip. The food and drinks here were excellent(sweet plantain& beef empanadas is a must have!).The owner and his family were very nice, welcoming and funny. The restaurant also had mini board games you could play while seating. Great vibes in the middle of beautiful old San Juan, definitely my go to spot if I go back!!

was walking around old san juan and stumbled upon this mom and pop shop, the vibes from the owners and their daughter were amazing! they were very friendly and welcoming! we ended up ordering a chicken, broccoli and cheese empanadas they were delicious but what was even better was there mac and cheese platter, definitely a must try!

This place is amazing. The people are even better almost walked by and I’m so happy I didn’t so far. It’s a high point in Puerto Rico.

We had such a great experience! I tried the chicken skewers 🔥 along with the fried shrimp and fried octopus empanadas — everything was packed with flavor. Their homemade hot sauce and pickled dipping sauce are truly out of this world. My husband and sisters went for the baked chicken, beef, and pork & yuca empanadas, and the staff suggested we try the mushroom baked empanada too… absolutely amazing — I loved it so much I went back for a second one! We also grabbed their rum punch and piña colada, and honestly… 10/10 all around. Great food, great drinks, and definitely a spot we’d come back to!

The owner suggested a mushroom empanada that is locally grown for my girl that is vegetarian and she loved it. I tried a alcapurria of crab from Puerto Rico which is a first for me, ive tried meat before but this one was amazing. On the way out I bought some old school candy from my childhood along with a Dope Daquire infused and this was a beautiful night cap. The atmosphere is awesome and customer service was the best I have received my whole time in Puerto Rico. Definitely Suggested!!

Paul is the greatest!!! After a late night of partying with my wife on our honeymoon we were hungry and everything was closed or closing. We noticed The Brunchy Munchy Spot had its door cracked.. We opened the door and Paul told us they were closed, we asked if anything else around would be open and he immediately told us it was okay and he would make us chicken skewers. God bless this man for his kind gesture we will never forget you Paul and look forward to seeing you again in the near future. As we waited for our food we looked around and it’s a very clean and colorful place. They have 1 wall with a neon sign you can take some nice pictures in front of. But with that being said we will be back. Did I mention they have the viral mango ice cream there?! 10/10 😊

They are so dope! They oversize everything so you definitely get more than your money worth. And if you're looking for that old school Bodega feel, look, and taste then look no further. I will definitely be coming back!

Paul, the owner, is legendary. We were staying in an Airbnb nearby and he made our trip. They sell everything, and it’s all good, but make sure to try the rum punch buckets.

Obviously, the service was incredible. But let me tell you about the food. We had this crab and potato long fried thing. I have no idea what it was called of pulpit??, but it was so delicious! OMG and we had basically an empanada with octopus in it. One of the best things I’ve had in a very, very long time. The Boba was incredible too. If we’re ever back in PR, we’ll definitely come back.

If you’re visiting or just looking for a spot with yummy drinks and snacks i definitely recommend this spot in old san juan! not only did i love this place the owner definitely made the experience even better! He spoke to us about the love he has for puerto rico and enlightened me and my boyfriend about SanSe which is a time in january full of festivities! We will definitely be back and when we do, we’ll be right back here for another yummy drink!

Paul was awesome. He hooked us up good. He made us a great drink fun to talk basketball with. My Wife loved both of her drinks, a rum punch and a Mojito . go wolves Paul.

I can’t even describe how kind the owners are!! They make their place friendly, the drinks and food are delicious. 10/10, coming back everytime we are in PR!! And the wall decor is a plus. We felt welcomed and most importantly their products are amazing.

This was an unexpected turn for the best! We were originally going to go somewhere else for Chicken Pinchos and it was closed. At first I was disappointed but you know what they say "Everything happens for a reason" we ended up choosing this spot based on other reviews and photos. Im so glad we did. The Chicken Pinchos are out of this world! The owner clearly cares more about the quality and the experience 👌 than charging what its worth. He marinated the chicken and cuts it to order...I watched him cut and skewer it. And the Bar-B-Que sauce is homemade with a perfect sweet (but not too sweet) and savory combo ...but if you're nice he might be willing to share some of these two amazing hot sauces ... if you like it spicy. Make sure to take care of the guy, he's charging way less than he should for the quality. Also if you're getting your drink on he does these Rum Punch Buckets for less than the price of one drink in other places, (as well as Mojitos). This place also has other amazing snack food options as well as different THC and Mushroom drinks for hangovers and Boba aka Bubble Tea too!!! 🧋

La primera vez que vine, el cajero había cerrado para usar el baño , y esperamos afuera 2 otros clientes y yo por más de 45 min, conste que eran las 2 de la tarde y nunca llegó. Volvimos el próximo día y el mismo cajero estaba trabajando, tenía unas pantallas grandes en sus orejas. Y cuando entré estaba en su celular, llegué hasta la caja y paso como un minuto y el pegado en el celular. Le pregunté si tenían una boba de coco y movió su cabeza como que obvio, pero todavía mirando su teléfono. En toda nuestra conversación ni una ves me miró. Le pregunté si me iba atender, y me ignoró. Le dejé saber que esa actitud de servicio ha sido la peor que he recibido en el viejo san Juan. Seguramente tienen boba tea muy rica, pero se me quitaron las ganas con ese tipo de servicio. Primeras impresiones son tan importante. Espero que le hablen al chico de modales y ética.
