Recomendados. Un restaurante espectacular acogedor. Una exquisita comida.
Such a vibe, great ambiance, amazing decor, and tasteful music. The dishes were beyond satisfying! We started with escargot, warm cheese, French onion soup, then the salmon salad. The salmon was great, the ingredients tasted fresh, my partner ordered more salmon as her main course, and I opted for the ribeye. I will definitely come back for the Wellington! Thank you to the owners for bringing such a dining experience to PR, the island needs more of this. Lovely all around!
We had an amazing dinner at Sablée. The food was absolutely phenomenal—the deep, bold flavors in every dish were outstanding. From the onion soup to the filet mignon I had, everything was perfectly executed. My sister ordered the pork chop, which was incredibly delicious; my mom had the salmon, cooked to perfection; and my husband enjoyed the ribeye. We also shared a cod croquette appetizer, which was absolutely amazing. To finish the evening, we enjoyed an orange and cardamom crème brûlée—beautifully balanced and simply divine. Every detail was on point. An exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
An exquisite gastronomic experience, we loved the place, the service and the incredible quality of the food. Don't forget to try the escargot, the cheese starter, the fish and the meat, what can I say? It's been a long time since I've been to such an incredible place with its pear cocktails and of course the pear dessert with ginger ice cream was an explosion of flavour. Everything was French, it reminded me of my beautiful Paris... we'll be back soon.
We were just picking someone up from the airport with no real plans, just a “let’s grab a bite” situation. First spot we tried? Packed. Long wait. Universe said “not tonight.” So we wandered a few steps farther and landed in this gem of a place that, until now, had somehow flown under our radar. One of us had it on their “we should try that” list, and wow—past us really knew what was up. The vibe? Sophisticated, but not trying too hard. Elegant decor with a modern touch. Service? Instantly warm and welcoming, like we were regulars who’d just been away too long. Shoutout to José—MVP of the night—for recommending a wine so on point, I’d let him pick stocks for me. We kicked things off with green pea croquettes and the warm cheese from the specials menu. Croquettes were crispy little flavor grenades—lightly herbed, perfectly fried. And that warm cheese dish? Glorious. It was the dairy equivalent of a hug from someone who smells like jam and good decisions. Then came the mains: ribeye, beef stew, and the so-called Wellington burger. The ribeye had that dream steak crust with a blue cheese finish that whispered, treat yourself. The stew? Deep, rich, and sneakily special thanks to a cinnamon note that made us all pause mid-bite like, “Wait, what is that??” But let’s talk about the Wellington burger. Except… it’s not really a burger. Calling it that is like calling a symphony “a bunch of noises.” It was a beautiful mashup of ribeye and filet mignon, wrapped in all the gloriousness of a proper Wellington. Tender, flavorful, indulgent—this was the showstopper. Oh—and the fries? We almost ignored them. “Just fries,” we thought. Wrong. These were transformative fries. I don’t know if they were boiled, double-fried, or blessed by a potato whisperer, but the texture was unreal—crispy outside, cloud-like inside. Fries that made us consider asking the chef to adopt us. Dessert came in strong: a rich, satisfying chocolate cake and a fruit tart that casually walked in with puff pastry, fresh fruit, and thyme ice cream like it invented summer. That tart was a revelation. It made the chocolate cake (which was honestly great) feel like the understudy. This is what dining out should feel like. Good food, thoughtful service, and enough unexpected joy to make you talk about it the whole ride home. We’ll be back. Probably with more people. And definitely hungrier.
We had a wonderful time in this cozy restaurant. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with a beautiful smile & amazing service, all the way to receiving your check. This place is a delightful experience. We highly recommend it. Keep in mind there is a dress attire and reservations are recommended. Every single plate was delicious, well presented, meat was cooked to perfection (unfortunately we forgot to take pictures of our steak) To top it off, we loved the fact that they make their own pastries. They have a beautiful & unique wine selection! This is a great place for a date night! We will definitely be back! Manager Jaroleen & server Lucas are amazing! Thank you!
This French restaurant is truly exceptional. The service is top-notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely warm from start to finish. The cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced, each with its own unique twist. As for the food, it’s nothing short of incredible. Every dish highlights authentic French flavors, beautifully presented and full of depth. A must-visit in Calle Loíza for anyone who appreciates fine dining and a memorable culinary experience.

I loved the restaurant, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. The only complaint is the waiter, I think his name was Jose Cuesta. He had a horrible attitude and he looked away when you spoke to him. That’s rude! He’s not up to the restaurant’s standards.

Calidad de comida inferior a lo esperado. Servicio lento.

Our experience was extremely underwhelming and left me confused why this restaurant is rated 4.8 and is $100+ per person. The service was slow and required us to repeatedly ask for attention. Forgot we ordered wine, then brought out dirty wine glasses. Ribeye steaks were at room temperature and undercooked. When we pointed this out to a waiter, he silently took the plates and went away. I understand this isn’t something they can fix, but at least an acknowledgment is a basic human decency.
