Amazing! The food here has been excellent. Every time we’ve come don’t forget to get a sangria or five so good the best sangria I think I’ve ever had. I love this place.

The place is outdoor. Music is a little loud and dance pop oriented. The Grilled steak with tostones, and rice and beans is the “BOMB.” My wife got grilled chicken, mixed veggies and rice and beans. We got a Tamarind juice (tart and refreshing) and a bottle water. All for the price of a nice dinner in the Hilton which looked far inferior to our gastro experience. Ciao!

I was hesitating about eating here or not after seeing the comments but everything here is in fact pretty decent! Food portion and tastes are both amazing. Service is good too! I thought it would be more expensive since it’s located right next to Hilton but it wasn’t that bad! I’d say this is a hidden gem!

Support local If I Could give it more stars I would, ask for Gabby and trust this is your go to spot for everything and anything from reasonably priced authentic food and souvenirs to Henny white….. if you stop by ask them for a Kiss Me in P.R and be nice their amazing people ❤️🇵🇷

This is a small quirky restaurant that we visited at dinner. Portions were great for the price and they were extremely helpful with suggestions for local beers and drinks!

I had breakfast at the Tropical Coffee Bar & Restaurant during my recent stay at Caribe Hilton. The coffee is excellent, with my favorites being Cafe con Leche and Cappuccino (see photos). I ordered the breakfast sandwich multiple times. I recommend the Mallorca sandwich! If you aren’t wanting a large breakfast you can get a breakfast sandwich and a coffee for about $10. If you are hungry there are several breakfast combo options for around $12. The service was friendly and professional, special shout out to “J.C” who was my server four times. I enjoyed sitting outside in the covered area. In summary, this is a great breakfast option if you are staying at or near the Caribe Hilton. The restaurant also has a small store inside where you can purchase beverages, snacks, and souvenirs.

This is a great restaurant that was really close to our hotel. Fair prices and efficient service with nice outdoor seating. We ordered a Mallorca, pernil sandwich, croquetas, and coffee! We were so happy to eat our fav foods from our trip all in one last breakfast before flying out.

I ate at this place every day that I was in PR. The food was pretty good. Arroz, habichuelas y pollo always does the trick and the avena was a great option for breakfast! Manuel was very helpful!

Mi intención inicial era probar el desayuno, pero ya eran casi las 11:00 a.m., y se había cerrado el servicio de esa sección del menú. A pesar de ello, tuve la suerte de disfrutar del menú de almuerzo, donde probé la hamburguesa de pollo y las quesadillas de pollo, y debo decir que ambas opciones fueron un verdadero deleite. Aunque a simple vista el establecimiento podría no destacar demasiado, es un lugar ideal tanto para desayunar como para almorzar. Invito a todos a darle una oportunidad y explorar sus sabores. I am only rating from 1 order of 2 croissants. We ordered 1 bacon, cheese and egg and second one sausage cheese and eggs. They were little too greasy. Coffee was good. Fast service. Maybe next time we will try something else and update the review. They are very close to Escambrón beach.

Food was just okay. Don’t have high expectations on the steak. It’s not of high quality and not much flavor to it. Rice and beans were solid. The mofongo was bland and the creole sauce tried to make up for it. For the a quick bite to eat near the hotel I’d stop again. I wouldn’t go out of my way to here though. Service was excellent!

Went here twice for Brunch and had a decent experience overall. It feels nice and local to sit in the restaurant and their outside area but it is nothing fancy or special. Still nice. The pancakes were good, savory items we tried were okay. Eggs are unseasoned, the “toast” was in our case just a thick cut type of baguette. I was personally very unhappy, as I inquired if it would be possible to leave out meat for my combo order and give it to my partner instead, as I am vegetarian. I was assured that that’s no problem and they can do that for me, however I received my food covered in meat. Very unfortunate and quite upsetting for me.

La verdad es que no me gusto tanto el mofongo, la muchacha que me atendió muy nice pero la comida no fue mi gusto.

El lugar esta lindo, la atencion nada para destacar y la comida medio pelo.. pedimos un mofongo, que estaba bien, y una cheeseburguer. La hamburguesa estaba muuuuy condimentada y las papafritas se notaba que estaban fritas en aceite pasado y viejo. Te saca del paso, pero muy normal tirando para abajo.

The service was good but not great. The staff were nice but the food was brought out and dropped in front of us. Not quite happy with the food I got. The eggs were "diced" and hard to eat with a fork. I am guessing they were fried in a layer on the grill and chopped up very fine. It was hard to eat with a fork. 2 of the pieces of toast were made with ends of a loaf so not as tasty as they could have been. I ordered Nutella on the fresh toast and didn't get it. Also the prices on the menu were different than what we were charged on the final receipt. All in all it was okay and I would not necessarily recommend this place for breakfast.

Avoid if you can. So So service. The food wasn’t good. Please check your receipt. We were charged more than what was on the menu.

I was really disappointed by this experience. I ordered an avocado toast and what I received was sloppily made and frankly inedible. There was barely any avocado, the bread was poorly toasted, and the presentation showed zero care or effort. I couldn’t even finish it. What made this worse was the service. I approached and spoke to the staff entirely in Spanish, and despite that, they abruptly switched to English at the end of the interaction. As a Spanish speaker, that felt dismissive and unnecessary, especially when I clearly initiated the conversation in Spanish. Between the lack of quality in the food and the unprofessional service, this place does not live up to expectations.

Two different people told me this place was great. I LOVE local, “authentic” recommendations as I’ve lived overseas in Vietnam along with countless other countries...but I guess I have that “basic American” look. I followed the recommendation and hate that I didn’t trust my intuition to find food on my own. I ordered based off of the google photos, and I’ll just let the photos I took speak for themselves.. if youre looking for anything authentic this is not the place. I also got a wrong empanada and got giggled at by the staff as it was dropped off. I also found plastic deep fried into one and something unrecognizable that I wont even discuss. The vibe was good but the food was not :(

I wouldn't go back to this place period. Ordered two bagels toasted and cream cheese and a latte on our way to the beach. Got one bagel with barely any cream cheese and one with a spec. They were also barely toasted. The latte came iced when it wasnt ordered that way and my wife barely drank half before going to another place because it wasnt good. The bagel that had some cream cheese was good but the lack of cream cheese took away from it. On the way back I went in to complain and show them the bagel and got a refund. At least they fixed there mistake but it isn't hard to put cream cheese on a bagel.
