Fusion Delight is a popular dim sum restaurant known for its delicious and fresh food, especially the dim sum and durian pastry. Expect long waits, especially on weekends and holidays. The restaurant is large and can be noisy, but many find the food worth the wait.

First time here. The was the reception venue after a wedding I attended. It was a beautiful place..it had multiple event rooms. Both of the rooms were absolutely beautiful. The staff was very nice. Most of the dishes that were chosen I had never had before, so that was a real treat! Everything came out looking like a masterpiece! It was delicious 😋. Great experience. If you have the chance to go..take advantage of it!
Quite the experience! The revolving table is very convenient. It took 30+ minutes to get a table during rush hour, each table seating around 8-10 people. The food was great, and the portions were large. The dishes were riddled with unwashable stains and bits cracked off, which was a little unsettling. The seasonal items were unlabeled in price, requiring us to call someone over(took 5+ minutes) to find the price. The lobster fried rice was okay, but a lot of the meat was hard to get to, with a lack of shell-cracking utensils.
Can’t believe I haven’t left a review for FD since I come here pretty regularly! Even on weekdays the parking is tough cos it’s so busy. But luckily the mall lot is big so you might just have to walk a bit. The wait is the most challenging thing here. Weekends are near impossible. Even week day lunches are tough. And you gotta book them way out for Chinese new year! Food is always very good and service is very efficient. The sea bass is a must here, I also like all their noodle dishes. And for dim sum, they are really one of the best in SL and surrounding areas. Can’t go wrong. Inside always looks nice and clean. Great vibe for big family dinners.
It's a very clean, very well maintained and run restaraunt. The food was delicious and there was plenty of everything to go around for everybody to get enough to eat. I went for a work Christmas party and there were 2 tables full of us. Nobody had any complaints and everybody was full by at the end of the party. They have enough staff to take care of you right away. I would recommend this place for any party. But it's a little kid for day a first date or romantic meal.
A disclaimer, these reviews are always hard for me: because when I come here, I usually come with people who are familiar with the restaurant and employees. For context, I’m a Chinese woman with family connections and I can speak cantonese. It makes the experience easier and faster. I’m not so sure if I just spoke English, how great the service is. Besides that, the food here is awesome. Great selection, everything tastes awesome! You want authentic Dim Sum? You’ll get it here!
There was a 30-minute wait on Saturday for lunch. This place is huge. Food was delicious. Fried rice took forever to come out. We had to ask about our fried rice twice. They cook the same dish in batches so some food takes longer than others, and most food comes out likewarm. You order off a tablet with pictures so don't worry if you don't speak Chinese.
One of best Chinese Restaurants in the East Bay area. Foods are delicious 😋 😍. Services are great. On Labor Day weekend, long line before the restaurant was open. That is expected for Dim Sum restaurant when there is holiday. Be aware. Tips is already added on the bill. So, don't double tip.
We’ve been coming back here ever since our friends introduced fusion delight to us. Despite of the long wait if you don’t plan ahead and the typical setting of the dim sum restaurants (they are all noisy 😃and I have no expectations of their services), the food here was decent, tasty, which is why we kept coming back here. Their prices are also reasonable as compared to other dim sum places.
Highly recommend! I was very impressed by the clean environment and prompt service the moment I stepped in. The dim sum tastes delicious and fresh, only the salted egg pastry is lacking a bit in that the stuffing is not enough. I especially liked durian pastry a lot! We went as a small party Friday 1pm and no waiting at all. I also liked the tablet ordering system and food is served really fast. Overall definitely the best dim sum place in the whole Richmond-Hayward part of east bay.
When I first walked in, I noticed how much room there were between tables. The place is fairly large with a high ceiling. Live fish tanks for the ultimate fresh fish and crustaceans. You order through an i-pad on the table. The food comes out piping hot and fresh. The place can get noisy as expected with customers just happy to see family and friends. One of the best Dim Sum places I have been to recently.
Nice place for dim sum! The restaurant is a bit more upscale, with a beautiful lobby and a lovely interior. The servers were kind and accommodating. Communication was a bit challenging at times and we had to use translators, but they were happy to help and brought spices and soy sauce when requested. Our server also recommended a different dish, which turned out to be a great choice and a hit at our table, so we really appreciated that. But the food was excellent, every dim sum dish we tried was delicious. A great spot for quality dim sum.
We went for dinner, and the food is delicious, authentic Cantonese cuisine. They don't take reservations, and there is oftentimes a wait; so would recommend getting there early. Be aware that they seem to have a "mandatory" tip policy where if you tip less than 18% at dinner (or less than 15% at lunch), they will chase you down and ask that you pay that % of tip. We found this a bit distasteful, but the food is very good. No good vegetarian/vegan options.
I should say 4.5, because the noise level is somehow too loud. They should invest something to reduce echo noise. Other than that, their food is good. I have been there twice and never have complained about the food. Service is ok, I don't have much expectations for a Chinese restaurant (overall in the Bay Area).
The food is fine, but the wait time is crazy and not worth it. For so far north of the east bay, I'm sure the food is nice, but why was our wait 2 hours! We had a larger party of 9, but we waited from 12:30 until 2:30. It was a Saturday during winter break, so maybe during other months they would have a shorter wait? We had to get some chicken from Safeway to deal. Porridge and dessert egg buns were good, but overall other food was not special enough.
This place is so overrated!! The food here is bland & has no real authentic Asian taste, it got even worse after the pandemic & they charge a lot here for these tasteless dishes 😏, their dim sum is not much better. They also have no taste.🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
It was 2 people and we ordered probably about 6 items which we were okay with that when it came to time to pay the bill, I paid the bill and I left what I could afford as a tip because the food was SO high. It's dim sum the lady wanted me to leave between a 18 and 15% tip. I said I can't afford that that's too much so I left what I could before I can get my food off the table, we stand in there me and a friend, the man comes Uber and said what the service wasn't good, no. The surface was fine. He said, well, you left such a low tip, honestly, guys. That was a lot of money. So I went on and gave them what they asked for but I'm like, you don't be bum rushing a person a tip is when you want to leave a tip, I did leave a tip, I left what I could. That's like a preacher browbeating you to give more money, you give what you can give. I came to your establishment. I paid the bill, we're, we're good, so the food is good there, but They want you to leave a tip.I don't know what's up with this nowadays. And the place makes a lot of money, so I'm not going back.I may order food to go but I will not go back and sit in the restaurant i'm cool 😎
Went there tonight 3/1/26. Place were very busy. Our reservation was at 630pm and some family members got there around 545pm and they were seated. The rest of the family members all got there by 630pm. A little before 7pm the short bald manager came to us in a rude manner and told us we were taking too long time to order. During that time we had complied all dishes that we wanted but no one ever came to take our order. As soon as the waiter over (wasnt that bald manager) he was given our list. We thought we were holding up the second round dinner schedule which usually starts around 8pm. The dishes came one at a time and probably 5-10 minutes in between. There were alot of between time and the last dish didnt come until little passed 830pm. And by then there were a few open/unoccupied tables. So we were rushed and harassed for no reasons. If this manager couldn't handle a busy and high stress environment he shouldn't be there. Have to say other managers and staff members were very respectful and reasonable. This again made me confirmed the term "Chinese waiter torture ". Foods may be good but rude manager does not worth going back. Also, once ordered place no modifications allowed, which mean you cannot add more dishes. Fail grade.
I recently visited a dim sum restaurant and while the food was undeniably delicious, the overall experience was severely overshadowed by truly abysmal customer service. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed completely indifferent to our presence. We waited an excessive amount of time just to be seated, despite several empty tables being visible. Once we finally sat down, we were met with a dismissive attitude every time we tried to order or ask a question. Requests for simple things like water refills were ignored until we asked multiple times, and even then, they arrived with an air of annoyance. The most shocking part, however, was being nickel-and-dimed for basic condiments. This place actually charges for soy sauce and chili oil! It feels incredibly cheap and tacky for a restaurant to charge for items that are considered standard and complimentary everywhere else. It’s a real shame because, as I said, the food itself was fantastic—some of the best dim sum I've had in a while. The kitchen staff clearly know what they are doing. But excellent food simply cannot compensate for such a poor front-of-house experience and the stingy practice of charging for condiments. I really wanted to like this place, but with so many other great dim sum options in the area that offer both quality food and basic hospitality, I won't be returning. The management seriously needs to train their staff on customer service and reconsider their chintzy condiment policy.
I am regular dining here, the reason I gave everything one star is, today will be the last time we will dining here never will return. Today is my friend birthday 2 of us we ordered the live fish $176 along with other items the total bill comes up to $227 and today when I looked at the bill I noticed they had add 18 percent service fee for 2 people ( they like to add it because the bill is big amount so they can get higher tipping), so I ask the server regarding the charges, he said I will send the manager over, when the manager came over, he say what is the problem? So I ask him when you start adding the 18 percent service fee again, he replied to me that, so many server here they add the fee i can't control that, the way he replied it really upset me than I said to him you are the manager you can't control this matter? Then he said i will take it off stop talking and pay ( because he tried not let the other customers to hear that, so I ask the table next to us which 4 men's ask if their bill already add the 18 percent, they say NO even show me their bill, oh this really upsets me again so I started arguing with the manager again ask why you doing this only on certain tables, if all the tables are same automatically add on 18 percentage is understandable but is not ,same thing he told me to be quiet it and pay the bill, I normally a good tipper specially the good server who had served us before they knows me i will give them $20 on the side and tip 20 percent for the total bill, this time really upsets me my friend told me not to tip them this time plus we will never return, the $227 we gave $230. As we walk out the restaurant the server comes to me said you haven't tip yet I replied, ask what you did. So anyone who dinning here be careful looked through the charges before pay.
