As the name suggests, they're original and spectacularly seasoned. Here they use a birote (a type of bread roll) instead of a bolillo (a type of bread roll). The salsa they use on the torta is loaded with flavor, and they even give you a small bowl with extra salsa for those who like to smother their torta. On the other hand, and in particular, their golden tacos with potato, cottage cheese, and beans with carnitas are the ones that take the cake. 🤤 All accompanied by an ice-cold beer. It will be what brings you back to life. So, 10 out of 10.

For those of us from Guadalajara who love tortas ahogadas, this place is the best in all of San Luis Potosí. The salsa and spiciness are perfect, the bolillo roll is salty and tastes freshly baked. Highly recommended to come and eat here and cure a hangover.

Some of the best tortas ahogadas I've had in San Luis Potosí. The salsa is spicy and perfectly seasoned, the bolillo roll is very crispy and doesn't get soggy. You should also try the doraditas. If it's crowded, it's worth the wait for a table. They adhere to hygiene standards.

La cerveza en ($40) y el preparado de michelada en ($10), y con el consumo mínimo de $140, disfrutamos de frijoles charros, arrachera asada con papas fritas, salchichón, y cebolla asada y chile toreado. El plus fue la cantante en vivo, que animó la comida.

Me pareció que para ser una mesa de 8 y de no tener gente el servicio deja mucho que desear ...mucho alcohol y pocos alimentos, tardanza en servir el menudo, tortillas ...a cuenta gotas ..de los 8 solo uno pidió que le sirvieran un poco más de menudo y nunca se lo sirvieron...debut y despedida ... Dan botana pero hay que llegar temprano

Nada nada de botana, solo unos cacahuates, hoy 3 de mayo /2025, acudí invitando a amigos total 5 personas y con un pago por consumo de 800.00 y la llegada para degustar su famosa botana y nada, que se terminó y eso que llegamos a las 4:45, p. M. Ya no se consumió más por lo mismo.

Es un bar tranquilo, se puede platicar agusto y la comida es buena. Considero que la limpieza y temperatura a la cuál mantienen la cerveza es un punto muy favorable para el lugar.

Buen lugar. Abren relativamente temprano. No son tacaños con los tragos. Ideal para aplacar la sed de la peligrosa cuando va empezando la tarde. Lo malo es que la botana comienza hasta las 3.

Esta barato al menos la cerveza y el preparado está de buen sabor y condimentado, no se de la comida y otras bebidas preparadas pero los meseros son medio amargados solo eso

Económico buen lugar para ver deportes y beber ambiente agradable con promos toda la semana que se pueden revisar en el Facebook del lugar precios económicos

We went on someone's recommendation. The place is simple, nothing exceptional. The service from the person in charge that day was incredible—fast and friendly. The carnitas torta ahogada was small, the salsa was flavorful and not spicy, however, the carnitas were cold, dry, and tasteless, as if they had been reheated. They didn't have any cheese to add extra. The food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't consider this place a top choice for tortas ahogadas.

I live very close by and had never seen the place before. It's not very attractive from the outside; the tarp is all faded. The place is clean, there's no parking, and in the area it's very difficult to find one; maybe with luck, you'll find it on the back street. We had a 40-minute wait. It felt like an eternity because we were very hungry. Maybe if they'd been kind enough to let us know they were going to be late because they had a large takeout order, we would have understood. The dorados are delicious; we ordered them with meat. The tortas ahogadas are delicious! The jericalla is also very good. The service is good, and so is the food. I'll definitely go back, but first I'll ask if they have a lot of food in store, and then I'll decide whether to wait or not, but that will be my decision.

They're tasty, the downside is the high prices. I felt it was outrageous that they charge extra for the tomato sauce that comes with the torta, and that they charge almost 40 pesos more for the sauces that come with the michelada (without Clamato), plus the beer... Everything else is fine.

It's a delicious place. The tortas are delicious! Since there are only a few people, it's sometimes a bit slow, and they seem to hold back on serving their delicious tomato salsa, and you feel bad about ordering all the time. It's kind of hidden, but it's worth it. Even though they're on Uber Eats, the prices are very affordable, so I recommend checking them out so you don't have to leave your Uber Eats checkout. Another thing is that they mix white onion with red onion, and since I don't like red onion, I have to keep separating it. But I really love the carnitas delis, the taquitos delis. 100% original salty biro.

Lugar agradable, amistoso, muy tranquilo, buen sazón en su botana, puedes cantar karaoke, muy recomendable.

I haven't been eating at this store in a long time. Before, they used to give you a small jug of salsa that wasn't spicy so you could cover your tacos or tortas. Now, they give you a small pewter cup that's half full and doesn't cover your entire dish, so you have to keep buying extra salsa, which I thought was AWFUL. The bill was really long because we had to ask for so much salsa to cover our food. I hope my comment doesn't go unnoticed and they can change this, it was so annoying.

I'm from Guadalajara and they are the best and most similar to the tortas ahogadas from my hometown and the bolillo is the savory one from there, but they have terrible service for home delivery. They never answer or they answer and hang up on you and leave the phone off the hook. And they don't have platforms for home delivery.

Place is over hyped, meat is the same on limited option menu which seemed to be steamed and bland, only the tomato sauce has some flavor.

Pésimo, pésimo servicio. Tienen anunciado que habren a las 2 pm. Llegamos con la intención de botanear. No había NADA listo. La cerveza CALIENTE. Éramos los únicos y nos atendieron muy mal. Por que no anuncian que abren más tarde para que tengan todo listo? Tomamos la cerveza que habíamos pedido y nos retiramos. Nunca volveremos al lugar.

I didn't like the torta ahogada at all. It looked nice, but the taste was bad. The bread was hard even though it was covered in tomato sauce. We ordered lemonade and orangeade with mineral water, and they were terrible—flavorless and warm. When we asked for ice, they gave us a small glass with very little ice for three drinks.
