The best place in town to have dinner if you want to taste real mexican food. It's clean, cheap and fast. Try the "pozole rojo" (a little bit hot&spicy), "tacos rojos" or "enchiladas suizas".

Simply the best pozole you can possibly taste in the city (maybe even in the whole country). All franchises in the city serve the same tasty menu (pozole, enchiladas and other "antojitos"), but this is the original place, so it is rustic, cozy, familiar and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only con is that it lacks a parking lot and valet parking service.

Nice place to taste a good pozole. I had big expectations about gorditas, but it was only panuchos, but they were acceptable. The guy that I asked for my drink, forgot to carry me it, and he forgot what exactly I asked, but in general, was good.

We had a really good time. My pozole was very good and the mole enchiladas were also on point. Service was really good but my group of friends thought they needed a bit more variety on the menu. Everything else was perfect

Food was great but the service needs improvement. Numerous tables had food but no drinks. Pork pozole was excellent as was the lemonade

Pozole rojo was delicious, only bad thing is they don't give cabbage with it you get lettuce, I asked to taste the green Pozole they provided a small portion to tate it which was very kind of them, just wasn't very tasty for me so i ordered the red one. Café de olla was delicious as well. Great service.

Food was good, and the place is quaint. Would have preferred everyone's food would have come out at the same time instead of several minutes apart though. Their artesanal beer was better than I expected.

The food is excellent if they bring it to you. Only some of our table received our order while people who ordered after us continued to be served. The wait staff was not engaged and did not fix the problem. Ultimately we had to leave and go to a different restaurant so we could all eat together. 😟

Horrible HORRIBLE service. We thought this place would have been good because of the reviews but nope. You get there and you find your own table… okay. We sat and waited for over 10 min and no one acknowledged us. My dad had to get up and go look for a server. They took our order and at this point we thought we were good but no. We waited 10 minutes for the first plate, second and third plate came out 5 minutes after that… the fourth plate wasn’t coming. We once again had to go look for someone to see what was going on with that plate. Finally arrived 20 minutes after the first one did. Not that we were timing them but I took photos and checked the time stamps. At this point the other three plates were cold, not even warm. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The food wasn’t that great either. It was ok but definitely wouldn’t return.
