In a life where everything is in a hurry, La Tazza de Memo makes you stop. It has that something difficult to name, but easy to feel. The walls hold secrets of those who have spent hours there, thinking, or simply being. Let's talk about the music, the exact song without getting in the way. The espresso gives you that well-deserved pause. Every corner has a story to tell, especially the cups. It's not just a coffee, it's a respite where you find yourself if you let yourself go. This coffee deserves a long review, because there are no words to describe it; you simply have to be there.
It's always a new experience! The place is very warm and one of my favorites.
I’ve been a regular at this place for 8 years; I can’t believe what some people are saying about burnt coffee and Sicilian mollete sauce being from a jar… if what you want/ seek is a place with extraction methods and different beans then this isn’t the place. Here the beans are single origin, and Italian espresso machine ia the preferred way of extracting; if your coffee is not of your taste, you can always ask for it to be prepared again. As for food, the molletes are one of a kind, and chilaquiles and eggs are a house staple. It’s simple food yet tasty.

The best coffee and service in the entire city. Wonderful people, service, and atmosphere. The quality of the coffee beans is superb.
I don't believe there's a better coffee shop in SLP. It's cosy, quiet, well decorated, there are plants, and the owner plays classic and alternative rock from the 70's and 80's. I stopped there to work for a few hours (there is WIFI) and was very pleased with my experience. Oh and their cappuccino is tastyyy!
If you are visiting SLP...stop by this place. Very quirky yet quaint.

Just having a coffee, very relaxed and calm, very casual
I went with my family because we liked the reviews. It was probably a good coffee shop years ago, but now it's run down, with no coffee variety. They only offered us two dishes: green chilaquiles without chicken and plain molletes, with the molletes' salsa from a jar. I ordered an espresso, and it was burnt. I like coffee and try different varieties and roasts, but the one here was terrible. By the way, they didn't even have any sweeteners, just sugar.
Better go to Romina Café, there is a menu, it is delicious, the service is perfect and the prices are very affordable.
There's no menu. The guys have no idea what the drinks are. I asked a couple of guys about a couple of drinks I could see written on the walls, and their response was, "The menu is stupid," referring to the fact that only this person knows and/or has the expertise. The girl very politely mentioned that she would ask the stupid person, and I sensed this person's tone of "don't bother me, my conversation is more important." She didn't respond, but she tried. It's appreciated. I ended up ordering a latte, normal. Regular.
The service was a bit bad and there were no napkins, I ordered "chicken" chilaquiles and I really never tasted the chicken, the beans were the most bland I've ever tasted in my life, the "hot" chocolate was lukewarm... I wouldn't go back to order at least food because the prices are not high but they are not related at all to the low quality of the dish and service they give you.
I asked for tea and he told me (Memo) 50 pesos, and I asked a week ago for the same tea and they told me 35 pesos. They don't have a menu with prices and they charge you how you look... Mr. Memo seemed very pressured, his employees were scared, but an acquaintance came and served them with a different face. 🤦🏻♂️🤣 What a crazy place, really. They only have customers because it's next to the law school.
