Woow! Great cocktails and amazing Peruvian food. My girlfriend and I came here because we knew they had some sort of partnership with Handshake cocktail bar and they did not disappoint. In addition to that the service was above and beyond.

This new gem just opened in town. Let’s get down to basics: you need to come, visit, taste and try everything. The Peruvian inspired menu is amazing (try any of the ceviches!). The chef from Peru is a wonderful truly inspired food loving guy that puts heart and soul into every dish (he will come and say hi, and even finish some of the dishes on your table). The drink menu is simply exceptional, Handshake Bar touch is right here, you’ll feel it, taste it and love it. There is nothing you’ll regret dinning here, make sure to make a reservation (mandatory) and just enjoy the amazing views, great food and drinks, and perfect service.

Great place in SMA for craft cocktails, a light dinner, and fantastic views! Reservations recommended. The Flowerbomb was a terrific cocktail. The Coconut Negroni was a little sweet but still tasty. As far as the food goes, it was terrific Peruvian cuisine. Our group of 4 shared the Ceviche Carretillero, Amazonian Ceviche, Anticuchero Mushrooms, and the Pachamanca Chicken. Everything was super tasty. I thought the Chicken was the star of the show. But my wife preferred the Carretillero Ceviche. Sorry no pics of the food but it had gotten dark. We will definitely be back!

New rooftop bar at the Belmond. Reservations recommended but we went to the front desk and were able to be escorted as a walk-in. Unbeatable views - one of the best in the city. Great cocktails and the ceviche was superb. I prefer this rooftop over the Rosewood’s. Shout out to Alejandro and Stephanie - great service!

Tunki is the sister bar Handshake of CDM, just voted #1 bar in the world. The mixology is at another level. Visit when it's not too busy and take the time to engage with the bartender to get an idea of the process. The flowerbomb is perfectly balanced and delicious. I can drink Tunki Sprits all-day poolside on a warm day. Add great service and a beautiful view of downtown SM. This place is a winner. I'll be back.

We came across Tunki online highlighting its magnificent cocktails. We were excited to visit. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly professional staff. The view was absolutely amazing. Alan was the star of the evening. He was awesome and made some of the best drinks we've ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained the process behind each of the unique creations. Unfortunately, I had the best dessert of my life recently at this beautiful rooftop bar overlooking La Parroquia :). I had it twice in a four day span and have not stopped thinking about it every day since I’ve returned home. I am terrified that the next time I go back to San Miguel they won’t have it anymore! The Ponderacion dessert was a delicious blend of dense coconut ice cream over a passion fruit “jelly” which felt more like a mousse. The taste and textures of this dessert were unlike anything I’ve had before and I wish wish wish I could have it every day!! Our wonderful waiter, I believe his name was Alejandro, was so kind and welcoming to us the first night we went to Tunki - he gave us an on-the-house cocktail to complement the Ponderacion dessert and it was an incredible pairing. It was the strawberry coconut cocktail. It’s served in an adorable little martini glass and was just the perfect touch to make us feel welcome. Alejandro was also very passionate about his job which he told us that he loved(!) and very knowledgeable about the dessert and cocktail. He told us that the ice cream was made on premise and that the cocktail infusion took three days to make! When we came in the next night, we ordered the same dessert AND the cocktail and another dessert and cocktail that he recommended. The music was very nice and lounge-y, not too loud and not covers over American pop bands that you hear in other similar spots in San Miguel. The view of the city at night was insane. Getting to the bar, too, was very cool as you have to check in to another restaurant at the hotel and then they walk you up to the bar which is a block away behind a very nondescript old door. The hosts explained to us some interesting history about underground tunnels in San Miguel as they walked us over. Overall, this was a very enriching experience from the food to the service to the ambience. Just cannot talk up this place enough. Absolutely loved it.

This place has fantastic cocktails, creative small plates, and stellar views. I visited with a small group of friends, and Tunki was able to accommodate us for a round of drinks without reservations - but definitely better to plan ahead and book a table! The drinks were so fun...many based on familiar recipes, but reimagined with novel ingredients and flavors. The negroni on the menu when we visited was outstanding.

Eliazar was a wonderful server, the drinks were incredible, we also had the calamari appetizer. try the flower bomb cocktails for something refreshing and fun. These are exceptional drinks with a lot of thought and care put into each one, individually hand crafted, watch them build the drinks, it’s like a science experiment 😉.

Excelente experiencia en Tunki by Handshake. La coctelería está a otro nivel: se nota el conocimiento, la técnica y la atención al detalle en cada bebida. Nos encantaron el Flowerbomb, el Jazmín y el Cariño, este último con tequila 8, espectacular y definitivamente un imperdible. Amir nos atendió increíble, nos explicó el menú, nos recomendó perfecto y nos hizo sentir muy bien recibidos. Además, la vista a la Parroquia de San Miguel es simplemente espectacular. Sin duda, un must en San Miguel de Allende para quienes buscan gran ambiente, servicio impecable y cocteles de altísimo nivel.

Experiencia de otro nivel... vale cada peso que pagas! La vista a la catedral, preciosa! El cóctel de pisco es suave y delicioso, hay otro cóctel con tequila y mezcal que vale la pena experimentar. De comida el ceviche amazónico, los bao de pork belly y la pesca del día te van a volar la cabeza. Y por último, la atención de Mauricio fue simplemente espectacular: siempre atento, explicando cada detalle de lo que te llevas a la boca y muy pendiente de que la estés pasando genial. Ojo, no es barato. Pero considerando que es uno de los 50 mejores bares del mundo, absolutamente vale la maldita pena. Te recomiendo reservar.

Creo que este es el mejor Roof Top de San Miguel de Allende, tiene una vista hermosa hacia la Parroquia con el pueblo magico al fondo. La comida del lugar es Peruana, elaborada por un chef Peruano por su puesto, muy rica la verdad. Pero mi parte favorita aqui, fueron los Carajillos, uff que delicia de bebida, en toda mi vida nl he probado uno mejor que el de aqui. A parte que la atencion por parte del personal es muy buena y hacen muy buenas recomendaciones. Sin duda vuelvo aqui!

Cocina peruana. Pedimos los dos ceviches que hay y están deliciosos. Los tragos son muy ricos, en especial el Jazmín, tiene pisco, es cítrico y muy fresco. El atardecer en este lugar es lo mejor, la vista a la Catedral complementa el momento perfecto para una cita en pareja, familia y/o amistades. El servicio es excelente, todos son muy amables, te explican el menú y hacen buenas recomendaciones.

Elegancia y sofisticación. Uno de los 50 mejores bares del mundo y sin duda, de los mejores cócteles que he tomado en mi vida. Sorprendentes, equilibrados y explosión de sabores. Las vistas a la catedral de San Miguel de Allende preciosas. Recomiendo ir en la hora de la puesta de sol. El barman es adorable. Un servicio increíble, nos ha encantado y volveremos sin duda. Tunky by Handshake, ubicado en la Casa Río del Hotel Casa de Nevada, es una joya escondida con una vista privilegiada hacia la catedral, ideal para disfrutar de un excelente ambiente musical y tomar fotos impresionantes. El servicio fue impecable, con una atención excepcional desde el momento en que llegamos, guiándonos a nuestra mesa y explicándonos cada trago de manera detallada. La comida, una fusión peruano-mexicana con ingredientes locales, logró un maridaje perfecto con las bebidas. Cada cóctel superaba al anterior, excepto "Cariño", que desentonó un poco, pero tras comentarlo, nos lo reemplazaron por una bebida de tequila espectacular. La calidad de las bebidas, al nivel de Handshake, es indiscutible. Sin duda, un MUST si estás por la zona. Aunque no estaba lleno, recomendamos hacer reservación por teléfono.

Another fantastic rooftop. The Belmond service is always the best! Food was great for a limited menu. And the view of course is great. Otra azotea fantástica. ¡El servicio de Belmond es siempre el mejor! La comida era excelente para un menú limitado. Y la vista, por supuesto, es genial.

Nos encantó! Desde que llegamos el servicio fue muy amable y atento, explican a detalle la forma en la que realizan tanto los cócteles como la comida y cada cosa que pedimos fue deliciosa en especial el ceviche amazónico y el cóctel jazmín, también muy recomendado el postre que tiene helado de coco y agregándole una vista preciosa a la parroquia, volveríamos a ir sin duda y especial mención para Eleazar que nos atendió casi toda la noche con una actitud y servicio de 10 al igual que Ulises. Excelente lugar.

We came here to get a drink and enjoy the view of the Parroquia at sunset. This place did not disappoint! We got the Flowerbomb and Strawberry & Coconut drinks; they also brought us out a little snack (courtesy of the house) consisting of pumpkin seeds and plantain chips that were prepared with various spices and tasted great. The drinks were amazing! This place is very romantic with the sunset views! The food menu listed that it has vegetarian options that could be made vegan as well, but we didn't try them; however, I imagine that they must be pretty decent since the drinks seemed carefully crafted, so I would bet their food must be also. Coming here just for drinks is good enough though. I definitely recommend making a reservation to guarantee a table at sunset!

Tunki was one of our favorite bars in SMA! We had two rounds of drinks and enjoyed the amazing view of the Parroquia. All of the staff were really kind and helpful. Don’t miss out on chatting with your waiter on their favorite drinks, and especially their own off menu creations that they love to share. The “Tuna” was an off menu item our waiter created and it was honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Loved the passion for their craft at Tunki. Salud!

Do yourself a favor and catch the sunset over here. The food was great but there’s no shortage of that in this city. The cocktails- stellar, to be expected from their creators. But once again, the view is truly something to write home about.

We went upstairs on the rooftop for drinks only. We tried five different drinks and they were all very good. Right amount of booze, but not too boozy. Service was fantastic. Music was playing, but the volume was not too loud to have in conversation easily with someone next to you. The biggest winner of this location is the view evidenced in the videos attached. Beautiful scenic rooftop. The roof rooftop is also covered in case of some rain. Drinks were approximately $15 per drink.

So so fabulous. Book ahead, because they may not let you in otherwise if you aren’t staying at the hotel. Fabulous cocktails and food - get the watermelon tiradito and the chicharron sandwich. I could have eaten one of those sandwiches every day. Tucked inside one of the hotel villas, so we had to go to the main lobby of the hotel to have someone escort us over.

I recommend making a booking ahead of time but we were lucky to be able to walk in after inquiring at the Belmont hotel. Staff was friendly and super professional. This view was only rivaled by the view at the Numu hotel rooftop where we stayed for this trip.

One of the many highlights of San Miguel de Allende. Great service, we had a special pizza that night and I swear was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and this is not a pizza place! The cocktails were tasty and perfectly strong. We also had a first class view. The clientele were mostly expats and/or tourist, which was noticeably boujee.

This place is perfect for small bites, cocktails, or a coffee/tea break. The staff was stupendous, and the small bites were packed with flavor. It’s a bit pricey, but the portions are generous enough to hold you over until your next meal. The dessert was also fantastic! The sunset here was absolutely magical—such a beautiful way to end the day. Our server, Alejandro, was exceptional. He handled our group of 12 ladies with ease and professionalism—great hospitality all around! We’d definitely come back, but only if we’re lucky enough to have Alejandro as our server again. I also want to acknowledge the hard work of the entire team. Behind Alejandro, there was the bartender, the chef, and the cleaning staff, all working seamlessly together. It was clear how much effort everyone put into making our experience special. I hope the hotel is rewarding their staff for such excellent service!

This was one of my favorite dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came alone and they were nice enough to let me sit at the bar. I came across this rooftop while looking for a place with a nice view, good drinks, and good food. I must say I hit the jackpot when I found Tunki. (Call to make a reservation beforehand) First of all the view.. spectacular you have a whole 360 view of the city and is perfect for watching the sunset. Everything is very nicely placed and they are prepared for anything. Mosquitos - they have repellent, cold - they have ponchos, rain - they have a retractable cover. The food I was not expecting to be as amazing as it was. It’s Peruvian style with a touch of local taste. They also take into account allergies and/ or dietary restrictions so they food can be a little more tailored to you! Chef Andres really outdid himself, every dish has an explosion of amazing flavors. I definitely recommend trying any of them. The drinks are ranked number 1 in North America and 3rd in the world due (from Handshake). They have some really good cocktail options and will also make you anything else you’d like! You can really taste every ingredient in these drinks, it was a great experience. Lastly the service was outstanding. I had Alejandro as my server and he made sure to take very good care of us. Anything we needed he brought, anything we didn’t understand he would explain perfectly, he was very attentive and had some great recommendations. One of the best servers I’ve ever had! This place really wowed me and I went back a second time during my trip to take some family member because I loved it so much. The friends and family members I took really enjoyed it too and agreed that this was a gem of a find. I 1000% recommend coming to this place and enjoying the view with a little cocktail and some dinner, trust me you won’t regret it:)

El lugar es bonito a secas, creo que tiene más oportunidad de ser más vanguardista y que vaya más con su coctelería. Los cócteles si están muy bien hechos, innovadores y ricos. No comí así que no sé qué tal esté su comida. En cuestión de drinks si muy rico, lo único que me molestó y por lo que no volvería es que te cobran un impuesto (para mí inventado) por usar las instalaciones del hotel si no eres huésped y en total pagué $600 pesos por un solo cocktail ya con propina. Ni en NY pague tanto por un cóctel

En general todo bien, lo único que no es correcto es que te cargan el 15% del servicio cuando te traen la cuenta y no te avisan. Revisamos la cuenta en la parte de la comida pero no en los cargos adicionales ya que es algo que normalmente no se aplica y traía el cargo antes mencionado, el mesero no comentó nada y le dimos 15% adicional en efectivo. El cargo por servicio se gana, deben de esperar a que el cliente lo asigne Y si lo cargan……por lo menos avisen. Hablé al Bar para pedir su ayuda en lo anterior, quedaron de regresarme la llamada ……y nada

Llegamos a esta terraza al ver que tenía colaboración con handshake , se anuncia cómo speakeasy, no me pareció el concepto como tal , la vista es espectacular, el servicio amable y simpático , se nota en cuanto llegas la preferencia a extranjeros llevando botana y dándoles una explicación y tiempo que en nuestro caso no hubo , recomiendo el Negroni de la carta y el postre de merengue , las estrellas son acordé la diferencia de trato con los extranjeros .

Please be cautious! My daughter and I visited Tunki, and we were served tainted cocktails. Several hours later, we found ourselves in the emergency room, fighting for our lives and ended up paying thousands of dollars for medical expenses.
