Great people good service good food Better than KFC I forgot they speak English here not like KfC in Pomona

As always the Crunchy Spicy Chicken Sandwich was juicy and tender. It was some kickin' chicken for sure. And the jelpanio poppers were super fresh fried and on point. Clean and courteous was the staff.

The Food was delicious clean and Hot! My order was the Chicken Strips side cold slaw and a honey Biscuit. In regards to the Dinning room: It needs a LITTLE TLC. From the greasy tables and build on grimy Chairs. The floors need A good SCRUBBING. Mopping is no longer enough. As well as the walls. Color me a Neat Freak. But there are NO EXCUSES in Cleanliness. In Restaurant Housekeeping. Just because a store is Old and in Pomona, it don't have to look like it. Customer Services was 💯 Perfect 👌 from the Hello greet at the door to the good byes on the way out.

Prefer this one to the mission location ugh . Churches done gone up on the 3 piece but still a tasty meal occasionally. I prefer this location to the mission one because this one the chicken is often cooked fresh and hot and the wait time has been short each visit . Also you can’t go wrong with the Texas Pete packets yass

Still SOOO good!! Prices are actually pretty reasonable, especially compared to other large chicken chains. Hot, delicious and fresh. Good sized chicken strips, which were juicy, and lots of fries, which were salted beautifully. Jalapeño bombers are spicy and delicious!

Most times we eat at church's chicken we are ordering a large family meal so they have to cook it specially for us, which can take 10 to 15 mins, but that means it's always freshly cooked and tastes great. We love the biscuits (coated in honey) and the fried okra. This location had steady business and ran smoothly despite only having 3 staff when we were there.

Food Awsome like always. Service was ok but everything i go there they are always cooking chicken but that's a plus cause u get fresh chicken. It's in a bad part of town . Ghetto, but worth it to eat there

The food is great most of time, recipe is delicious but lacks is presentation. I know for a fact that some piece are smaller due to the cutting . Mgr should take more time training. Bathroom unless you really just want to wash your hands (bring your own soap and paper towel) I would not use.

I used the drive thru. I give the original recipe chicken and sides 5 stars. The employees excel as they have to constantly take food out to cars, since fresh chicken takes time. BUT the drive-thru needs updating as the turn is too sharp (as witnessed by all the car scrapes on the wall ) and the speaker box is set too far ahead of menu that you need to turn head around to TRY to read. The menu is too close to vehicles and too wide to get a good visual. Parking can be on the tight side.

Church's 🐔 in my opinion is better than KFC. A couple of wings or legs ands jalapeños poppers. My wife likes the okra. The family deals be on point to save a dollar or two. 🤓

Drive through they ran out of chicken mild. Had to cook more. Lady said it would take 30mins. Park in the front we will bring it out. It took 1hour. Turns out everyone parked in the front was waiting for there order.

Love this place. The food is extremely fresh and southern fried. The spicy chicken is spicy and the okra is crispy. The honey biscuits are like homemade, and they have strawberry fanta. I'd give it 5 stars if the bathrooms had been working. This place is wonderful for a filling meal.

It's been awhile since I've come here, the structure is still intact but for whatever reason the chicken still comes out amazing. The biscuits tonight were heaven sent and the gallon sized drinks, what's there not to love. They got a 4 star because of several reasons but mainly because they're drive thru intercom is down so the wait times are are literally 10-20 minute wait! All in all they are lucky enough for that 4 stars if it was not for the gentleman at the counter who made the wait well worth it, making sure I had condiments, plates forks napkins and did not forget one thing. Which to me is a huge thing. So right on to that gentleman for doing his job with 100% satisfaction and to the church's chicken staff members for making our delicious dinner.

Ordered from their app and it made the experience super smooth! Food came out exactly on time which is a huge plus. The chicken was juicy and crunchy! Top tier fast food fried chicken for sure.

So the reason for giving this Church's Chicken located in Pomona off of Holt is because of all of the transients that hang out and also the drive-thru the way that it's positioned it's just doesn't seem safe but as far as the chicken it is good but always order your chicken fresh so you will be spending at least a good 20 minutes there my recommendation this Church's Chicken is okay but if you can find a better safer location that's where I would go

Their fried chicken is average.however, they make a smoked barbeque Chicken that is unique, and really extremely good. It's what keeps me coming back.

I would've given ut a higher rating, but I had to wait ten minutes in the beginning, then another 10 minutes because they filled other orders before mine and I placed my order before others were served. When I did receive my order, it had the wrong pieces of chicken. Always check your order before you leave!

I come here for the $3.59 3 piece and biscuit special. Really can't beat that price for a good chicken meal. Store upkeep could use a lot of work. Parking lot needs maintenance. Cracks and potholes on the pavement. Restrooms are dirty. Drab interior. Broken blinds. Could use some TLC. It is in a not so great part of town so expect to see transients about. They will harass you but employees are good about keeping them away from guest.

Everything was pretty much perfect. Except Very disappointed that you don't at least get one dipping sauce with your order. You need to pay If you want even 1 ranch to go with your chicken Order.

Went to get some quick bite around 8:30 pm, we went walking since we're only a few blocks away Sing stated that indoor dining closes at 10 p.m. It wasn't even past 8:45ish and the doors were locked already, the lady inside chose to ignore us because we stood right by both doors and even knocked on them but she looked away and decided to pretend she didn't acknowledge us and even started having a conversation with a co-worker inside, mind you we weren't planning on eating there, we just wanted to grab some food and come back home. Gave 3 stars only because a couple of days ago, some other young lady that helped us in the drive-thru was very helpful and nice

Chicken and sides were pretty good. We got the chicken strip family meal, pieces were really small and i was surprised by how little they were actually. My family was still hungry and i was out quite a bit of money as these meals were not cheap. Definitely will not get dinner from here again. Maybe like a lunch meal for one or something....

Went through drive thru. Ordered a 9pc mixed. 4 out of 9 pieces of chicken was hot and fresh. Ordered a lemonade with heavy ice. The nice thing that happened, the cashier showed me the amount of ice he put in the cup. He said is this heavy enough? No one had ever asked that question. Usually my heavy and their heavy are different. I asked him for a little more ice.

The food was good, but I had a problem with my order. The person over the intercom missed something so I had to go back inside. Other than that, the driveway is definitely a tight fit, so larger vehicles beware. The car in front of me hit the corner and scratched the side of his brand new car up.

Order window is fast and friendly. Upbeat and positive vibes. Heppful and knew her job. Tha KS for making drive thru experience fast and great quality food had the Shrimp n tenders combo. Good.

I just went in to try the smoke black pepper chicken. If you like sweet chicken this is for you! They don't cut the chicken for you, just a half a chicken all together. I'm giving 3 stars because the dining room was super dirty! Tons of food on the floor, and tables. The restroom is so dirty..... I can't describe it in words! Don't come here, of you really want to try the smoke black pepper chicken, go to a better Churches.

There was a dispute with a man at the counter we were in line for 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru and they still did not have our order ready or know what we wanted when we got to the window. The man had ordered his food and have waited for 30 minutes just give him his money back before he does something scary. Or give him free food so he can leave. They did not handle things well although they did stay calm. The cars in line behind us were very anxious. The food was good but it might order was wrong the price is always Fair.

Was just there about 30 minutes ago, no one was in front or after me. Ask for a very simple order and asked for certain sauce And no ice in the drink. They didn’t have the right chicken style, no sauce in the bag, and they added ice to the drink.

I usually eat here when I work in Pomona, I find that the good takes a while to be ready which is not a problem. I called to place an order ahead of time as my time is limited die to work. Esmeralda told me they do not do phone orders and when I asked her why, she said it was against policy. I know it is not against policy to take a phone order, Esmeralda simple did not want to take it. I called over to the location on Mission, where they gladly took my order and had my good ready in a timely manner. I called Esmeralda back several times and she simply did not answer, until I got back to the office where I could call from a different number. She answered and told me there is no customer service number to call... It's no wonder why this location is never busy, they are full of incompetent employees.

EVERY OTHER Church's restaurant that I have been to have given me the proper portion for a large side item. Today I paid $6.05 for a large okra and received a regular portion. I didn't have a desire to argue, but the portion was soooo small that I felt compelled to write about it. THE customer service sucked! I will buy this food item again, but this particular store will not get my business. Her unwillingness to understand my perspective and I pulled up pics from the internet that showed what that particular large side looked like (box), but the one I received looked like a medium fry from McDonald's. NOT OK!😡

I love churches chicken I could go there every day if I could. But! The lady that was helping me & my boyfriend thru the drive thru. She got both or orders wrong. Not once. Not twice. Multiple times. We told her a spicy chicken sandwhich & she gave us a non spicy. We told her a #2. 2 legs & a thigh orignal. She said. .light or dark meat. I mean. I didnt know there was a difference so I told her light. She gave me 2 thighs& 1 leg Dark chicken. (i wanted 2 legs 1 thigh . she took my order backz & gave me a new box of chicken & she gave me 2 thighs. Nit even the leg. Not the 3 piece i ordered. Even tho she repeated our orders the way we said it. She still gave us the wrong orders. Smh. & plus after she said she gave me dark chicken she said i had to pay 2$ extra for light. . & I never got a reciept for the 2$ extra I had to pay!!!!!! Never going back.

Waited for chicken to cook when I began to eat it, it had no seasoning or flavor. But at least it was hot. I didn't eat it, it was terrible.

I have always loved Church's Chicken, but my last visit was horrible. I paid an extra $1.99 for a wing and got a thigh. If that's not bad enough, the chicken was cold. I tried to call them and they do not except calls any more. Looks like I will not be a customer anymore. .

Horrible, lobby/sit down dining area was closed. The" drive thru intercom"was wasn't working. So,each order was taken one at time at the drive thru window and processed while everyone else waited ✋. It took me 25 minutes to get to front of the line. There were only three cars ahead of me. I hadn't even placed my order yet. When I finally got to the front and it was my turn I just left. As I Sat there waiting, I noticed the old florescent lights, the old sign and old paint. It's obvious the owner doesn't take care of business.

Terrible!! They took 20 minutes to complete my order, only for it to be wrong. Here's where it got really awful, I opened my box and saw it was wrong, she took it back and put the chicken I returned back with the fresh chicken. In this day of covid, it should have been thrown away. No question

Don’t buy food from here the the bread is hard on the chicken sandwich’s, the only thing that is good are the drinks. The fries aren’t cooked all the way they taste like they just pulled them out of the freezer I tried to call right now. It said that they were unavailable. It’s a possible chance your phone doesn’t even work. if I could give these people a zero star, I would another thing there was a male transient in the back of churches chicken pooping. Also when I drive up and give them my order at the speaker I pull up to the window and then they ask me again what I ordered then I can’t remember and they tell me that their computer is not working so they don’t remember my order

I ordered a large fries and was given a small. On top of that, the service was unbelievably rude. I placed my order online for pickup, arrived 15 minutes late, and my food was already on the counter. While I stood in the pickup line, the customer next to me wasn’t even ready to order and took 5 minutes deciding. There was only one cashier, and instead of helping me quickly pick up my food, he completely ignored me. After the other customer finally ordered, he turned to prepare her food without even acknowledging me. Even after she left, he still didn’t bother to ask if I needed help, and I had to raise my voice to get his attention. Waited 10+ minutes in store for a 2 second online pick up….. speechless. No apology, no thank you, no basic customer service at all. I felt completely disrespected. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and I won’t be coming back.

Went at 6pm and the drive thru sneaker was not working so I was asked to drive to the window. The cashier was engaged in a convo with the other worker when I arrived. We (my son and I) waited a few min and he turned and acknowledged us. I asked for the family feast and if I can pay the difference for mixed (white/dark). The cashier said that was not possible so I ordered the family fest components Al la carte with the mixed. The cashier became upset that I used the work “mixed” as he processed to educate me on the word “mixed” here means to the employees half reg and half spicy. I apologized and said I assumed that was always “half/half”. When I said I was going to pay with Apple Pay he said “I have to cancel your order and you need to pay inside cause we don’t take that in the drive thru”. He turned around and shouted to the staff “cancel her order”. I was confused but parked and my son (22yr old) went inside to pay. He brought the order out but mentioned that the employees were commenting not so nice things me not knowing how to order correctly. I’m not bother by that because my degree is in business not professional drive thru etiquette. Never was I rude or inappropriate with the staff. Low and behold we open the 9pc chicken box and there is only 5 pieces of dry overcooked chicken and my Mac and cheese is basically soup. Mark this location off my list.
