I went to Boba Guys at Santana Row and decided to do one here at Bishop Ranch. I really like the ambiance here with all of the decorations they displayed here with a mini shop. It really fits to today’s modernity. The menu displays calories including the toppings, which is good for calorie tracking. I also like the animal that’s being displayed on the boba cups. The boba doesn’t really taste too sweet. You either can get the drink warm or iced with other toppings you wanna include. That being said, it’s a good place to stop by if you want boba in this shopping center.

At first Boba Guys was only available in SF so I’m glad they started opening stores around the Bay Area like Palo Alto, San Jose and San Ramon. This place never disappoints from drinks to service! Very consistent all around. I enjoy their seasonal drinks which are tasty and unique. I always look forward to their caramel matcha drink but it’s not always available. Tip: order for pick up. It’s easy and fast!

Super thrilled to have a Boba Guys in the East Bay! This is the best place around to grab boba during the day, unless you get stuck behind someone picking up an order of like 5-10+ drinks for their coworkers around 3pm :/ If you work around the San Ramon area, show your work badge and ask for the local "neighborhood discount" - it's 10% off each item in your order! I love the lavender black decaf milk tea in the afternoons as well as the purple ube with coconut milk. If you haven't tried a mochi donut yet, it's worth it - the slightly chewy texture is not for all but I'd recommend the chocolate one. They just introduced Hong Kong style toast here recently and it's AMAZING. I tried the original with honey buttercream and it was so light and fluffy (more like cake than challah bread) that I didn't want to share any of it with my coworkers! This location also has tons of seating with tables and chairs, along with a few wooden amphitheatre-style steps and cushions.

I was surprised to see the spring-summer menu at Boba Guys includes sapin-sapin, which is a Filipino dessert. This was nice and refreshing for the hot day. It tasted a little like sapin sapin. It should be served with a long spoon because there's coconut at the bottom. Tie guan yin is usually my go-to. The tea has some natural sweetness so I enjoy the flavor. This is one of the best locations for Boba Guys. The inside is nicely designed, and service was very good. The staff were friendly and the drinks were made with good quality. Always a nice time to visit Bishop Ranch. There's plenty of seating around, so that makes for a great Friday.

My husband and I love this place, their tea is the best around, the boba is insuperable. One thing I really really like about this place is that they provide only bamboo fiber straws, another thing I absolutely appreciate is that they offer dairy substitutes for those who, like me, can't have dairy; and for those fortunate ones who can and enjoy dairy, they offer organic dairy. My favorite drink is the Strawberry Matcha tea latte with oat milk. The prices are affordable and the local is family friendly. Expect long lines if you go past 4pm, it's worth it though!

This chain of boba drinks certainly has the market cornered (so far) for different, high quality, "healthy," clean bubble tea drinks, presented in stylish retail atmospheres. I've only been to the one in NYC Chinatown, but this one at the new Lot in San Ramon certainly sets the bar.

The best! You can really taste the freshness of the tea! I ordered the Jasmine Green and I could really taste the jasmine tea. I love that there are milk choices to choose from.

Great Boba place in San Ramon. Having been to the same chain in New York, wanted to drop by and check this out. Easy parking and walk in. The lines at Boba Guys is really long. Took close to an hour to get our drinks. Are they worth? Absolutely, great taste and special varieties that you usually don't find else where.

I have been wanting to try them since they opened, but the line was usually out the door. Today, I finally got in and there was no line! I had the caramel milk tea with Boba and it was great, bold flavor and the Boba were perfect.

This place is over hyped and overpriced. Went here in December of 2021 and again today on 1/29/2022. My husband's coworker suggested this place to him, despite the fact that we all live in Vegas. The first time I went was at night and right after we showed up, a line formed behind us out the door! I ordered a hot rose tea with no sugar and it was over brewed. I wasn't a fan so I kept stealing sips of my husband's drink (forgot what it was.) This time when we flew back to the Bay, my husband was adamant that we come back to Boba Guys. We ordered 2 large oolong milk teas, no sweetener and almond jelly (+$0.65) which came out to a little less than $14. The teas tasted like they were brewed for 15 seconds. If you want a $7 watered down milk with tasteless almond jelly, I guess order this. My husband admitted that he didn't know why he thought it was so good the last time but not this time, especially when it's more expensive than other boba places.

Floor was dirty, table was dirty. Drink was dirty. The guy who made the drink did not wash hands and the drink itself was so so. It is hard to believe I have to pay $8 for a boba drink. Waste of money. Waste my time.

For a place with the name BOBA in its name, along with BOBA in every advertising photo, you’d expect the base drink to come with boba. This is the experience I have with all other boba place in the bay - and I have been to a lot. This is 100% false advertising. I would not recommend this place over any of the 50+ boba places in the area/Bay Area.

My issue is not the service of the store employees, they are fine. Its the company. I tried to reach out to them via their email on their site that says: "If you need to talk, to vent, or to give feedback, or if you want to collaborate, email us", yet I email them with a question about one of their store supplies or food ingredient questions, and they never reply. Follow up, no reply. Company has no customer service while claiming to be this hip place with strong customer service. If a store manager reads this, please tell the owners/company to respond to customer emails or fix their email support process.

The milk tea tasted overly sweet with a somewhat artificial flavor, and the grass jelly add-on had a similar chemical-like taste, which was not what I expected. The store layout and ordering flow were also not very efficient, resulting in a long wait. Given the relatively high price, the overall value did not quite meet expectations. Even sharing one drink among our family of four, we were unable to finish it. I personally found it difficult to understand why the line was so long.
