Hard to find good genuine Mexican food that isn’t all Tex-Mex. This is the only restaurant I’ve been able to find out of many. It deserves praise for the quality of food you get with the low prices they charge. It tastes like it was made with love at home and they were serving it to their family, pretty much sums it up. They also have your classic Mexican sweet bread that is enjoyed with coffee. The environment is laid back and friendly with small family owned restaurant vibes that make you wish this restaurant will still be here doing the same thing many many years from today.

Coffee, good food, amazing bread ! Everything you could ask for in a bakery/restaurant. Their mocha and cappuccinos are my favorite, hence the many pictures of them lol. I love love it, took my whole family and several friend dates. Everyone loves it. Highly recommend the chorizo plate for breakfast, and the fajita beef poblano enchiladas for lunch.

I am a long time regular customer. Every time I go I am treated well and everyone is always in a good mood and very helpful. The food is consistently good and served up with a generous serving. If I had to complain about anything...it is when I get my taco to go. You charge extra for green sauce. Don't understand why but I just can pay extra for a green sauce to go. Other than that you always do a great job 👍💯.

Chips and salsa are so good especially if you like spicy salsa. I ordered the menudo and taco al pastor. I also tried the chilaquiles but don't recommend those.

One of my personal favorites, FYI they have several policies in place to protect customers and employees from C-19D&O, please respect their business and others and wear a mask. They are safely bringing you quality Mexican food. Normal business hours have returned :D

Visiting family for a week and wanted some pan dulce so I googled, Juarez’s came up. Breakfast chorizo with eggs are huge, very good. Got some conchas and were delicious 😋. Tk you.

Nice atmosphere. They sell pan dulce and other pastries. Food itself is very mid tho. I do recommend the pastries tho! Fairly priced food. $10/$11/$12 a plate. Very doable Staff is very nice!

Very busy restaurant. Popular with the neighborhood. They are open early and close at 2:00. I had the Eggchiladas for breakfast. They were good, but served a little cool. Husband had the breakfast tacos and liked them. All tortillas are hand made.

Juarez Restaurant & Bakery is one I’ve been told to go to for Mexican food in Round Rock. The food was pretty good but I was looking for more flavor in the tacos, specifically al pastor and barbacoa. I enjoyed the chips and salsa and queso. Pretty affordable meal. The churros from the bakery were great!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars because it is a staple in the community and I’m normally fairly lenient when it comes to service, but for sake of writing a credible and hopefully a valuable review the service was lacking today. Servers passed by our table repeatedly without taking our drink order, or even acknowledging our existence at the table. It took nearly 15 min to get our drinks ordered and delivered to the table. The tamales on the other hand were fantastic, the enchiladas(chicken) were average, the salsa great. They do not serve alcohol so if you are looking to have a bar drink with your meal, look for a different place. I will give it another try, fingers crossed the next time, the service will have improved.

Portions were large. They have a variety of baked goods and deserts from empanadas to cookies, churros, flan, and cakes. The rice was my favorite texture and flavor. I enjoyed my chimichanga (meat and refried bean filled) and the green poblano sauce on the chile relleno.

While the food is good especially the Migas, the only negative comment I must include is when you show up there’s no greeting, they seat you down and bordering on the unfriendly they take your order. It’s not the typical Mexican restaurant that you are greeted and the staff is friendly. Strictly business. While I’m not going there to make friends it would be nice if they would be a little friendly.

Menudo was OK but $15 a bowl half full is ridiculous! And $15 for a small order to go! Also, food is pre-made. Tacos come out in almost seconds. Lightly warm or cold. Better choices in town for less money!

I am fairly new to the area and coming from a place of a predominantly hispanic community, I looked for some semblance of my culture here. To which I have! There are places in the area that have blown me away with their craft. Places I can call staples in my life now. This is not one of them. I heard a lot of great things about this place by word of mouth. People raving about the flavors the food carries. The rich authentic atmosphere that it holds. By all accounts, this is a community staple. Which baffles me. This isn’t a poke of an authentic label. I love quality Tex Mex more than the next guy. However, what I received was short of quality. A Torta smeared with more beans and guac than carne. “Gorditas” that were just two tortillas right over each other with fillings. A tortilla sandwich if you wanna call it that. The unfortunate part of it all: the seasoning. Incredibly underwhelming or non existent. I don’t think the first and last thing I should be tasting is lettuce. I will note that the space and service I received was fine. Food arrived in a timely manner and our drinks were never empty. Make what you will of it. Maybe I will try their food again in the future but if this is the how high the bar is set, I’ll pass. Overall, if you want Authentic Mexican food, this is not the place. Now they don’t make themselves out to be that which is fine but do not let any locals tell you it is. If you want casual Tex Mex, knock yourself out. Maybe I am missing something out there that everyone around me is getting. It’s probably something in the water.
