This place is fantastic, especially if you are needing a dose of spice. Super nice people but I go to a restaurant for the food. We have now tried most things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Price to quantity and the add quality is also on point. Thanks for bringing ethnic food to San Sebastián.

"Absolutely loved the food at bollywood Restaurant ! The service was top-notch, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, perfect for a night out with friends or family. The menu had a great selection of Indian and Pakistani dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and flavorful, and the Lamb Korma was tender and aromatic. The Naan bread was freshly baked and perfect for sopping up all the sauce. What really impressed me was the authenticity of the food - it tasted like it was made with love and care. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I would highly recommend , to anyone looking for authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!"

Just had the best food and the best experience! I have been traveling France and Spain for about 5 weeks. I was looking for something that was not French or Spanish and I passed this place. Once I saw it all I could think about was Butter Chicken! I stopped in tonight and had the very best dinner I have had in San Sebastián. The food was amazing. I just got wine by the glass, which was really good, but they have a great by the bottle list too. The wait staff made the entire evening! Eat here. You won’t be disappointed! And I hope that’s Zain is your server. He was fantastic. Butter chicken, rice, naan, samosas. Fabulous evening.

Sencillo Restaurante Indio en el Boulevard. Ambientación,personal y 🎵 música de la india. Muy buenas y crujientes las Samosas de verduras 🍆 🍅 🥔 y las de pollo 🐔 En su punto el Pan nan y el 🌾 Arroz Buenos los Garbanzos con 🍛 curry y Plato de espinacas. Servicio amable. Público local con algún turista español o extranjero.

Muy bien, como siempre. Vale la pena entrar a saborear estos ricos platos de comida india. Esta muy bien y tiene muy buen precio-calidad. Si no lo has probado todavía, es un buen sitio para empezar. Las salsas están muy buenas, las picantes tienes 3 opciones poco media y mucho... prueba. Buen atendido.

Fuimos un domingo a comer sobre la una y media del mediodía. Al pedir mesa nos pidieron mostrar el Certificado Covid, ya es obligatorio en Euskadi desde hace unos días para toda la hostelería y por tanto tenemos que habituarnos a colaborar. Decir que en nuestro caso hemos ido ya previamente a varios restaurantes indios (2, en Bilbao concretamente) y era la primera vez que veníamos a a éste. Decir que viendo la carta los platos son prácticamente un calco de lo que ya habíamos probado y conocíamos precisamente por los otros dos restaurantes a los que hemos ido. De lo que pedimos para comer: -Onion Bhaji: Entrante/aperitivo consistente en una especie de aros de cebolla fritos con patatas fritas, todo en el mismo aro Nos pusieron 3 uds y nos sacaron para acompañarlo 3 salsas; una de color verde, que era de sabor suave, una naranja de sabor picante y una oscura un poco dulce, muy rica. -Boiled rice: De entrada recomiendo pedir siempre arroz si vais a un indio. Creo que para dos con una ración es suficiente porque al final se tata solo de acompañar. En nuestro caso pedimos también el "plain" para no alterar mucho el sabor ya que el arroz era solo a modo de acompañante de las cazuelitas de cordero y pollo. Nada que objetar. Arroz cocido indio típico, normal. -Lamb Korma: La primera de las cazuelitas consistente en unos 8-9 trozos pequeños de cordero, mezclado con abundante salsa dulce de coco. Estaba rica pero el cordero tampoco es que tuviese mucho sabor. -Chicken Jalfarez: La otra cazuelita. Mejor que el Lamb Korma. En este eran trozos de pollo y se acompañaba de huevo revuelto, tomate y pimientos. 100% recomendado este plato, de lo mejor sin duda de toda la comida. -Plain Naan: Pan tipo como de pita. Rico y calentito. Sencillo, lo cogimos para acompañar todo y elegimos a propósito el "plain" , porque no tenia nada. -Batido de mango: Muy bueno. Recomendable. Muy buen sabor. -Kheer: Arroz con leche estilo indio. Las anteriores veces que he ido a un indio siempre he pedido el Kheer. Lo mejor de la comida sin duda, junto a la cazuela de Chicken Jalfarez. -Kulfi (no tomamos foto): Trocitos de helado de pistacho, estaba rico. -Gulab Jamun: Vienen 2 bolitas y se acompaña de nata. Rico. Por objetar algo decir que las raciones son más bien pequeñitas para el precio que tienen los platos pero aun así creo que es recomendable, que la comida india merece una oportunidad de ser probada y que éste restaurante en concreto cumple con creces.

Comida rica y bien elaborada a precio razonable. Trato amable y educado. Para repetir. De hecho, hemos repetido varias veces, y siempre igual de bien.

La comida estupenda, tienen terraza pero un poco ruidosa. Son un poco lentos pero creo que es por falta de personal. Un nepalí muy guay en zona centro de San Sebastián

Una excelente atención, aunque el camarero no sabe mucho castellano fue muy amable. Recomiendo el pollo chicken Tikka masala y las espinacas con queso al curry. Gracias y volveré

Local muy acogedor y limpio, la comida buenísima calidad precio..el camarero ha estado muy atento. Picaba todo un poco pero tenía bastante sabor todo.

This place has had some bad reviews regarding service!.. But I've got the say it was fantastic when we arrived... The young man was really attentive and tried his best to speak some English. The food was good, with fresh clean taste! The only downside was the poppadom and rice was a bit greasy! I will definitely return in the future

Tardaron bastante en atendernos y servirnos cada plato. Las salsas estaban muy ricas, pero la carne era de poca calidad y estaba seca. El nan muy bueno. El espacio es reducido y si la persona que tenía detras se hubiese querido levantar, habría tenido que levantarme yo también. Alright, so I went to this place the other day, and the food was decent – not amazing, but definitely not bad either. The vibe of the place was honestly the best part, with a really cool ambience that made you want to hang out. However, the service was a total letdown; the staff seemed kind of out of it, which wasn't ideal. To top it off, they seemed to randomly charge whatever they felt like, which felt very odd. Overall, it's a mixed bag, so I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon. #PoorService #MixedFeelings

Went to this restaurant to fulfill my Indian food craving and was greatly disappointed. We ordered the sheekh kabob and it was incredibly salty. We also ordered Shahi paneer which did not contain paneer at all, it was actually tofu in shahi paneer sauce…for 14€ I got scammed…fresh paneer is so easy to make I’m shocked that they fool regular customers with tofu. We also ordered the lamb korma which was very sweet. Even the shahi paneer was super sweet. They add too much sugar to the curries. We ordered pistachio kulfi and they gave us mango without telling us they didn’t have pistachio, so we actually got the mango kulfi for free.

The curry was pretty flavourless and don’t get an option of how spicy you like,service was very ordinary and the tall skinny guy that waits at the door came over and tried having a chat half way through our meals… €5.50 just for rice and got told one was not enough for 2 people,still ordered 1 and it was enough.

PÉSIMO servicio: Dos veces pido la ensalada SIN cebolla y dos veces me la traen con cebolla. Primero la traen con cebolla y les digo que por favor sin cebolla, y vuelven a traerme otro plato de ensalada con la misma cantidad de cebolla esa morada. Muchas cantidad de cebolla las dos veces. La primera vez llega un hombre que parece el jefe desganado, le digo sin cebolla por favor y me la trae con cebolla. Después otro camarero me trae otra ensalada con la misma cebolla o más. Y yo esperando mucho tiempo para eso. Además caro. No vuelvo.

This has to be one of the worst food experiences I have ever had in San Sebastian. I have lived here for 15 years and love this city for its food. However, this was unpalatable. There were three of us and we all were left feeling disappointed and quite frankly…disgusted by the experience.

This restaurant is quite misleading. It calls itself “Indian Bollywood,” but the food, service, and overall feel of the place don’t really reflect anything truly Indian. The food was not tasty at all. It was extremely oily and didn’t look or taste like real Indian dishes. It felt like they were just using the name to attract customers, but not actually offering proper Indian food. The service was also really bad. The waiters were dressed in casual clothes — some in shorts, t-shirts, and even slippers. It didn’t feel like a proper restaurant at all. No uniforms, no manners, no basic standards. One of the waiters put the plates on our table in a very careless way, as if he was in a big hurry, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Overall, everything — the food, the staff, the place — felt low quality. The name “Indian Bollywood” gives you the wrong idea. It sets an expectation that the restaurant doesn’t meet at all. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for real Indian food or even a normal restaurant experience.
