Impresionante, tanto la comida como aún más el trato que tienen con el cliente, te sientes como en casa. La comida está riquísima y el chef sale a presentar el plato y a marcar los tiempos, en nuestro caso del arroz con bogavante que es una delicia! Si hay algo que cabe destacar es su trato al cliente, fenomenal!! Muchas gracias por hacernos sentir tan cómodos.

Inmejorable. Difícil que puedan atender las llamadas, reciben cientos a diario y atienden 5. Si puedes reserva en el lugar. El trato es individual y buscando que pases el mejor de los ratos. No probamos todo pero lo que tomamos fue espectacular. El arroz con bogavante es el mejor que probé, el erizo muy bueno y las almejas también buenas. La tarta de queso suave, cremosa y abundante. Ofrecen de entrada unos mejillones con un aliño diferente al habitual pero rico. Pan excelente y buena bodega.

Vinimos hace dos años también , y es un lugar de ensueño. El servicio es muy amable y detallista, y la comida es espectacular. Nos encanta porque está todo muy bueno, y la dueña es un encanto de mujer.

Parada obligatoria si vas a San Vicente de la Baquera!!! Exquisito arroz con bogavante, el paté, los erizos y la pata de pulpo braseada. Y los postres caseros con una finura… Calidad precio fenomenal, y el trato inmejorable 👌🏽 Volveremos sin duda!!!

Una experiencia formidable en todos los aspectos. La atención al cliente buenísima aconsejando en todo momento. El ambiente muy tranquilo y agradable y los platos muy buenos. El arroz con bogavante espectacular. Felicitamos a la jefa de mesa y al cocinero que se preocuparon por atendernos y por qué quedásemos contentos con el servicio. Es algo que ya no abunda. Repetiremos seguro.

Hacía mucho que no comía tan bien. Es un sitio para repetir, las anchoas estaban buenísimas, las zamburiñas ricas, pero la lubina fue lo mejor. Es muy difícil hacer bien el pescado, y aquí lo han hecho a la perfección. Es verdad que la calidad del producto es muy importante (y se notaba que era de muy buena calidad), pero creo que el trato que se le da a ese producto es igual de importante, y el que le han dado en este restaurante es inmejorable. El servicio también es para nombrar, te tratan fenomenal, muy atentos y me gusta que te expliquen bien los platos. Lo dicho, seguro que vuelvo y recomiendo.

Sensacional de principio a fín. Desde que entras, el trato del personal te hace sentir como en casa. El protagonista de su carta es, como no, el pescado y el marisco. Nos hablaron tan bien de su arroz con bogavante que quisimos probarlo y, sin lugar a dudas, es el mejor que hemos probado. De postre, nos decantamos por su tarta de queso y nos encantó. Volvería sin duda, muy recomendable.

No vivimos en Cantabria, aunque somos, y ya teníamos referencias sobre la excelencia de este restaurante y hoy hemos comprobado que es un magnífico restaurante, sobre todo sus alma maters Marta y Alberto. Podemos garantizar la calidad de los mejillones escabeche, del salpicón de mariscos, de las almejas a la sartén, del arroz con bogavante y de varios postres. El blanco Godello que nos recomendó Marta estuvo en consonancia. Tienen una carta no demasiado extensa pero que la dominan totalmente lo que les permite esa excelencia. La atención con la que nos atendieron ambos es de 10. Muchas gracias y espero que siempre os vaya todo muy bien.

Es la segunda vez que vamos a cenar a este pequeño y acogedor restaurante. La carta no es muy extensa pero todos sus productos son Km0, basada principalmente en pescados y mariscos. También tienen solomillo, que lo preparan de manera exquisita. El tronco de rape está espectacular. Me gustan los platos de elaboración sencilla y rica, sin salsas que quiten protagonismo al producto de calidad. El servicio es excelente, muy cordial y te hacen sentir como en casa. ¡Gracias por vuestro buen hacer Marta y Alberto!

After four days in Cantabria and after reviewing several restaurants, I can truly say that this was, without a doubt, the best place we've eaten—and the one with the best atmosphere. Starting with the owner, who runs the restaurant: I'd sum him up in one word… phenomenal. As soon as we arrived and said we had a table reservation, he greeted us with a "Come on, come this way, but don't make any noise!" Everyone at the bar laughed, and we did too. That moment already foreshadowed the good vibes that awaited us. When the dining room filled up, he began presenting the dishes as if he were giving a stand-up comedy. Incredible. He talked about each dish to see which one was the best, all with humor and warmth. Of course, he made it clear from the start that service would take as long as necessary, because good food isn't prepared quickly. And although it wasn't as fast as in other places, it didn't drag at all. And the food? Spectacular: We ordered a menu to share: Cocido montañés: A delicacy. And I don't even like beans... I had four seconds, my wife two, and my son ate a whole plate. The owner had the entire dining room applauding him for being the only child who had eaten the whole thing! Sardines: Fresh and delicious. Rabas: Very tender and abundant. Scallops: Incredible, some of the best we've ever had. At one point we wanted to order huevos rotos (broken eggs), but the owner told us no—all in a serious tone, but clearly in keeping with his style of humor. He explained that the cocido would come last, so we could enjoy it properly... and thank goodness we didn't order more. That kind of sincerity is greatly appreciated: it shows they think about the customer, not just the bill. Dessert: Homemade cheesecake: Out of this world. Creamy, smooth, delicious. In short, without a doubt, a place we'll return to. The best restaurant we've eaten at, not just this week in Cantabria, but in a long, long time. And honestly, the atmosphere created was key to a perfect experience. A 10 all around!

I'm giving it 5 stars because it won't let me give it 10... 10/10 place, good food, good service... Very good dishes and plenty of them!! Plus, in a great location, right in front of the beach/port. I'll leave you some photos of the dishes we ate so you can see!! But to be honest, it's better to come and try them, it's the best decision you'll make! The waiter is super attentive and polite. You don't see good waiters anywhere, where you can tell they enjoy their work! I don't usually post reviews, but seeing as the food is so good, I didn't hesitate to post one. I hope this review helps you!

Exquisite food and excellent service from the staff, attentive at all times. The main waiter is a real character, but he makes the time very enjoyable. Refrain from visiting them when you're stuffy; you have to have a good sense of humor to treat them. 🤣🤣🤣 The food was excellent, we loved everything. Especially Sorropotún, a spectacular dish. We'll come back if we pass by here. I recommend it. The service was fast and very good.

We went for lunch today for the first time and we loved it! The Sorropotún was spectacular!! There was a lot of bonito. The main courses, mackerel and anchovies, were also good, full of flavor. Finally, the cheesecake was good, but the rice pudding was one of the best we've ever had. Very similar to grandma's. The wine and bread were also good. The service was excellent, friendly, with a smile, and fast. We'll be back!

We really liked the restaurant's food. We ordered the entrecote al cabrales and the Asturian Creole, and both were delicious. The service was fast, although what we weren't entirely convinced about was the waiter's manner. He was overly friendly and made some jokes that we didn't find appropriate. He can give advice and recommendations without overstepping certain limits. Still, it must be said that he did his job and served us promptly. Overall, it's a place where you can eat well and you can tell they cook well.

Large portions but basic food. Ungutted sardines. Morcilla de Burgos was just that apart from a couple of token bits of pepper. Terrible clumped oily fries. This restaurant caters for Spanish tastes but as northern Europeans it was not for us.

We were greated rather unfriendly which we attributed to the lack of language skills. The shrimps were sandy and tasteless. The other dish was lukewarm at best. Once we wanted to pay we had ask for the check three times within 40 minutes, unsucessfully. So we went inside to pay and had to wait yet another 5 minutes for the guy to even talk to us. When we told him that either we could pay the check within 2 minutes or we would leave he finally acknowledged us. Another 5 minutes later, he practically riped the money from our hands and threw us out, in a suitably unfriendly tone.

We chose the restaurant for it's quite good reviews. We ordered Patatas tres salsas and Caxopo. The fries are not homemade (which they usually are in this region). They were soft and drenched in oil. The Caxopo was the worst we had since then (and we had many). Being from Vienna I know my ways around a good Cordon Bleu and this one was soaked in oil, not crunchy and did not cover the meat. I cannot recommend this restaurant, it works with the cheapest ingredients and the service was a bit cold. We did not try the fish. The ambiente is normal. Usually we had good experiences in other local restaurants of that kind. Maybe look for something more inlands as it is cheaper and the people are nicer tvere, often you can find family run businesses that are happy to host you.
