Stopped by Vino Volo at SNA last night on a later flight out for work. Staff was friendly when answering my questions, which is something I really appreciate when I’m here. I have seen the burrata bowl on the menu for a while now, but since I tend to take morning flights, I’ve never really had the chance to order it. So glad I did - it was fantastic! Almost makes me want to start taking later flights more often ha ha. Service was quick and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. This will always be a go-to spot for me when flying out of this airport
stopped here 2 days ago at my arrival to john wayne and again when leaving today. Having a wine place at the airport is amazing, coming from someone who lives in wine country. also great vegetarian options. cannot wait to come back to OC to fly into john wayne and stop here. Staff is very friendly..big shout out to them. hard workers.
Stressful is the word that travel evokes now, but the one thing I can always depend on to take some of the edge off is Vino Volo. It makes getting to the airport early worth it. The wine selection is outstanding and the food is fresh and varied. Cheers!!
Ok, To be clear, I'm in Terminal B of the Sacramento Airport. Just loved the Vino Volo Chopped Salad and an amazing Chardonnay. Am I in an airport terminal, or in a great West Coast urban restaurant? So Good! Also, enjoyed talking wine and the good life with the amazing Eric!
Had myself the Smoked Ham & Gruyere on Sourdough and it was absolutely delicious. My dining partner's BLTA looked mouthwatering as well. It was a shame we couldn't partake in any wine at the time, but the wine flights seemed quite nice, and if we had the chance to try them, I'm sure we would. It was a little expensive, but considering the prices of the other sit downs in the terminal, I'd say it was pretty fair. Also sad to see the menu has shrunk a bit overtime, but we're still on the tail end of the pandemic, and a smaller menu seems to be the norm for terminal fare at the moment. Definitely a "come for the wine, stay for the food" deal If a sports bar or fast food aren't your sort of deal, or you're looking for something a bit more haute, definitely gonna have to recommend Vino Volo.
Knowledgeable bar staff. Download the app and scan your receipt! Viola! Points! The Charcuterie is an excellent choice for the flight of wines. Although the bartender said they didn't offer a military discount, she gave found an other offer for me anyway! My palate is thoroughly satisfied! I just wish they had more locations in Florida
Fancy joint for an airport restaurant. I like the little cards they give you as coasters that explain what you are drinking since I usually have no idea the details besides the name. The service was perfect, very friendly and not too often or too sparse. The artisan plate was awesome. It reminds of a European breakfast kind of. Meats, cheeses, some good bread with jam, fruit.. A nice variety. You can try each against a single wine glass or flight of three. Slightly pricey (although the flight is on-point) but it is in the airport and worth it to me since it seems like best place to relax inside the secure zone. Smooth jazz drowns out most of the airport backround noise adding to the experience. If you sit on the back row there is a nice 'view' of the baggage claim and security checkpoint from the second floor. Sounds a bit funny but if you like people watching it's good spot and feels open regardless.
Stopped by for breakfast. I had heard good things about this place. I ordered the Brie and Prosciutto sandwich. The food came out quickly and it was good. I know it is a sandwich, bit I do wish they gave tableware such as a fork. All in all the food was tasty, the service was good, and it was convenient. I would stop by again. For airport food, I think it was wonderful.
One of the best airport eating places we have had anywhere at any airport. We look forward to going here every time we are at SNA. Menu is limited, but what they offer is amazing. We have enjoyed the ham/Gruyère sandwich and fig/prosciutto toast, but our fav is the caprese. (One time we were tight for time and our daughter was so sad she missed out having the Vino Volo caprese!)
Hands down the best restaurant in John Wayne. Fast and friendly service, amazing salads, and wines that match! This place is my go-to when I have a layover or get to the airport early. Would highly recommend you try the Cobb and the Riesling. Will be back! Thanks for the great service and good food.
All I can say is wow. If this place wasn’t in an airport, I would still come here. That is sayin a lot! I had the prosciutto sandwich with a fig spread and arugula on a warm baguette. My wife had a yellowfin salad and wine while I enjoyed an IPA. Yes, it’s a wine bar but they have beer! Perfect.
I had the burrata margarita pizza. Sooooo tasty! The crust was thin and crispy. The burrata was creamy and the sundried tomatoes had so much flavor! And a little chili pepper flakes and it was perfect.

I am a wine importer. I always stop by Vino volo while traveling for business. I was delayed in Santa Ana and I spent an hour at the bar enjoying Champagne. The bartenders had great personality and were knowledgeable.
Perfect! Beautiful and delicious burrata plate. The Mediterranean plate looked amazing too. Great wine selection by the glass. I had a beautiful glass of their featured champagne. Crisp and gorgeous.
If you’re a wine lover passing through an airport, Vino Volo is well worth a stop for a flight or glass paired with a snack. It stands out in an airport context for its quality I would go here again. Great experience

Vino Volo is a nice place to grab a glass of wine or have a small bite before your fight. The service is usually good and the food is tasty. Most portions are small and it’s a bit on the pricey side, but what else would you expect from an airport?

Had a layover in Santa Ana, and decided to stop by Vino Volo. The two of us hard: -flight tiny bubbles $21 -modern times IPA $9 -butchers board $28 Drinks were ok. Board was below average. Not a whole lot, and quite pricey. Service was a bit nonexistent when they were not very busy. Overall, ok spot. Pricey end, but ambience is a bit nicer and more quiet.
Service was super friendly. Wines were great. I love that you can sample flights and you can get a 3 oz pour of any wine for a third of the glass price. They give you tasting notes. No other way to put this...food was beyond disappointing. "Signature" salmon rolls were blah and lacked flavor. Plate was thrown together. Cheese plate was tasty but it was the tiniest portion ever. I would go back for the wines but I wouldn't eat there again.

We tried the Palm Springs airport new location on day 6 of opening. Food was terrible. We ordered the Brie & prosciutto sandwich-very little prosciutto on a hard, dry inedible bun, the dry side salad had no dressing. Also ordered the hot honey pizzeta- it came out totally cold, cold tomato sauce, cold cheese and cold prebaked crust. It had potential had it been baked and served hot. They do not have a pizza oven. My iced tea tea was bitter. You get a tiny 4oz glass of wine for the price of a full 6oz. Service was good and they took the pizzeta off our bill. Won’t be going back.

We were on a flight that got delayed due to a mechanical error at the Santa Ana airport. Alaska gave each passenger food vouchers since the flight was delayed for 6 hours. It was me and my 3 children we chose to use them at Vino Volo having never tried them before and the menu looked good. Well the 2 servers could not hide their annoyance when attending to us and because the vouchers were each $12 she had to enter the credit card numbers on each voucher. I get that you may be annoyed being that a lot of passengers chose to eat there causing them to be very busy. The lady that rang me up. The older of the 2, my receipt says Kim P. She gawked that she had to enter the card so many times and the fact that I wasn't writting down the information fast enough she kept saying I need to get these going. I apologized that it was so many transactions. However I didn't ask for my flight to be delayed. I will not return for a 2nd visit due to both the server and waitress being rude and short. I even said thank you so much and have a great night to which she turned around and walked off not saying it back to me. If you hate your job that much or you just suck at customer service then you shouldn't work in the service industry. I spoke to several others on my flight who dined in there as well. Everybody else said they had the same experience. The food was great but because of the customer service I will not be going back.
