⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cafe Brasil is an absolute gem in Santa Cruz! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm and friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly attentive, accommodating, and always ready to offer great recommendations if you’re unsure what to order. Even during busy hours, they keep things moving smoothly while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude. Now, the food—simply outstanding! Every dish is bursting with authentic Brazilian flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The açaí bowls are hands down the best in town, and the beef a cavalo is a must-try. Their juices and smoothies are so refreshing, and you can tell everything is made with love and care. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a light, tropical-inspired meal, Cafe Brasil never disappoints. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious meal with top-tier service. Can’t wait to come back!
We ordered Beef Stroganoff and A Cavalo. Both were delicious! We also ordered passion fruit juice and it was refreshing with right amount of sweetness. I left my water bottle on the table and Ava(hope I got it right!) went out of her way to find us and returned the bottle. It’s extremely kind of her and I’m very appreciative!
Great staff and amazing food! The space is very cute, the portions are quite generous, there are a lot of options in the menu to choose from. We had some amazing fresh juices, eggs benedict, farofa, omelete, açai bowl, all was really great and tasty. We even done some take away for other friends and they loved it too. Coxinhas de galinha are really great too. Definitely will be coming back!
Fabulous food! Loads of vegetarian options. The huevos rancheros is probably the best I've ever had in my life. Their omelettes are really good too. They give you free refills of coffee. Keep in mind that at prime brunch time (I went at 11am on Sunday) the wait can be pretty long. They'll tell you 45 mins to an hour wait but it's actually a lot sooner than that. Keep in mind that they don't take your number down so if you're not there when they call you, you'll miss your spot and have to be put back on the list. Overall an excellent brunch experience and I would go back in a heartbeat.
Fabulous selection of a variety of menu items. Plenty of health conscious, nutritional selections. Unique Cafe. I will definitely be back to try several dishes. Today I had a fruit shake (w/OJ vs. Almond Milk), grilled chicken breast polenta which included rice, farofa, and a salad. They have several tofu options. They also have seafood dishes and a juice bar. They also have some items for sale. Excellent experience!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long! it was so delicious and big portions in my opinion! The eggs Benedict was perfectly made, and the hollandaise sauce was creamy! The portobello was also seasoned so well and paired nice with everything else on the plate! We also ordered the smoothies. i got the maracuyá and he got the cacau shake! both delicious and refreshing
Food was really good and despite the long 2hr yelp waitlist estimate, we were able to get seated in less than 30min (they have lots of seating for groups of 2). I haven’t had very much Brazilian food other than BBQ before, so trying some other types of dishes was a great experience with unique flavours. I also recommend the Cacao Smoothie - it was super refreshing.
Great option for Brazilian food, which is hard to find in the Bay Area. Their feijoada is always a winner as it comes with salad, farofa, and greens. I tried their breakfast menu which is served all day and the cocota was very nice - good flavor on the sauce for the eggs with the sautéed mushrooms. I just wish the spinach was also sautéed (it was raw, just wilted under the heat of the sauce). Also enjoy their fresh juices and smoothies, haven’t tried their açaí but many people were ordering it. You can join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time, which is helpful if there is a wait during peak hours. Service is friendly if not the fastest but food comes out quickly. Limited parking in their lot, otherwise free street parking in the area.
Every time I visit Santa Cruz this is the spot that I make sure to grab a meal at. The food here is divine. Some of the best food you'll ever have. Their shakes and juices I especially love. It's one of the few places I can just pick a random dish knowing it will be great. The staff here are super friendly and are great to chat with.
Cozy, quaint, and personal. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was attentive. I was not super hungry the day we went, but I enjoyed a fresh, warm, delicious muffin and some wonderful juice. My friend had what appeared to be a personalized breakfast they make him as a regular. It was a huge portion and looked amazing. Next time, I will be sure to be hungry and try more stuff. Update: When I returned again, I brought my appetite, and I am so glad I did! I will absolutely crave the Eggs Benedict and potatoes! It is some of the best I've ever had! The ham was perfect thin slices, and good quality, and the sauce was such a gift of flavor I had to savor every bite. I hint on the salty side, but delightful. The potatoes had an amazing seasoning that made more taste buds water for more. I will absolutely return again for that dish.
Great food - laid back atmosphere - pure Santa Cruz de Ipanema. Or is it Ipanema de Santa Cruz.
Meu Deus! My folks are Brazilian and I've visited there many times, so take it from me: this place is the real deal! Not only was the food delicious and authentic, the decor, music, and even the bright pastel wall paint were all reminiscent of a typical Brazilian lunch spot. It was enough to make me very nostalgic... As close as you can get to a truly Brazilian restaurant experience. 💛💚🇧🇷 Like others said, parking is very limited, and wait times can get long, so walk/bike if you can and check out their Yelp page to put your name on the wait-list ahead of time.
My wife and I had a great experience. My wife has been going there over 20 years. Friendly staff
This was a really great cafe to go to. They had plenty of food options and they had no problems with my substitution requests for certain items. The food tastes AMAZING, so I definitely recommend trying this place out.
Delicious Food and Drinks of all sorts! This place is only open until from 8:00am to 3:00pm. The parking lot is small and its usally full so its better to just park on the street, plus the street traffic is so heavy its takes a while just to get out! So your better off parking on the street anyway! There's also a sign in sheet! SIGN IN AS SOON AS YOU WALK UP! Don't be surprised if you have to wait in line to sign in lol! After you sign in your wait can be a long one we waited 50 mins last time we were there! Theres plenty of outdoor seating. The crowd is always hip so it feels more like a cool hangout so waiting time goes by pretty quick! Anyway the food is well worth the wait! I really like this place!
Delicious and affordable Brazilian food in a great atmosphere. Note, this is not a dinner restaurant, they closed at 3pm. But it is the best breakfast & lunch place for Brazilian food. I do love their Moqueca de Camarao – Brazilian Shrimp Stew. It is the best. I even drive sometimes from San Francisco to Santa Cruz just for their Moqueca. The atmosphere is fresh and colorful, the service is friendly and professional, and besides the amazing food, the juices and smoothies are outstanding. A really good time for you and your stomach.
This place is AMAZING. Totally amazing. We were just going to hit up a regular diner and saw this and so glad we came. The house made muffin is sooooo wonderful and the breakfast selections are so good! The coffee is some of the best coffee I've ever had. It tastes kind of like those hard coffee candies that your grandmother had In a little glass bowl at her comfy home. The place is bright and full of color and warmth. So glad we skipped the norm and decided to come here. It made our trip.
Cute little cafe in Santa Cruz! Absolutely loving the style of the venue. We got lucky with a parking spot behind the restaurant but there's only about 4 spots and a tight squeeze so I recommend parking a little further out and walking. They have both dining and take out which we saw many people do especially for their acai bowls, which are to die for! It was so delicious. We dined in and also had the Avocado a Cavalo, Gallo Pinto, and Veggie Cocota. Good and filling dishes.
Think I've been here 6 or 7 times in the last couple of years and every time I've received friendly and timely service along with delicious food! Usually I'm on my own, which as an older woman can lead to not having a great service experience, but certainly here I am treated very well! Thank you for making me always feel welcome and seen and providing yummy breakfasts! Sorry for the photo of a partially eaten crab omelette with Hollandaise! Couldn't wait!
Was recommended to this place by a good friend of mine who frequents the area more than I do. I'm so glad he did! A great place for brunch options, and each dish was delicious! I got the Ranchero breakfast plate with avocado added and ordered a blueberry muffin made from scratch in house. I was in heaven. A few of us in the party ordered their Avocado Toast and scrambles, and there was no leftovers to go around. Great food! Our host was accommodating and never seemed bothered by our questions over their menu. He was prompt over us getting our check but never rushed us, even though the place was filling up with more people. It was a lovely morning! Highly recommend.
I graduated UCSC 23 years ago, and the quality of eats at Cafe Brasil has NEVER DROPPED. My regular to this day is the Brasiliero omelette with creamed chicken and creamed corn plus added green chiles. Always delicious! My husband went for the crab benedict. And of course, they were accompanied by strong cups of Pilão coffee! I always think I'll refrain from eating the baguette too...but I can never resist.
Amazing staff and Brazilian food at an amazing price. I would onlyavoid dinning indoors at peak hours since it can get pretty loud.
Great experience overall. Extensive menu with vegetarian and vegan options. Parking is limited next to the restaraunt. Really helps if you do not leave your car there after your dining experience.
Cute place. Food was so good,.we were glad we tried it. Not sure if they make their own salad dressing but it was so good I wanted to ask if they sell it to go.
Very rarely do I have such a hard time finding something to eat! I can’t imagine going wrong with anything unless you have some random allergy! The rancheros looked amazing, so did the various stroganoff plates, and really wanted to try the traditional dish (feijoada) but in the end I went with the omelette which I was very happy with! My friends had some fresh juices which were also amazing looking!
There is nothing on this menu that doesn't taste devine. Plenty of meat, vegitarian, and vegan choices. The juices are also really good which I didn't expect. Acai bowls are popular to split as an appetizer here. The servers are also really great too. Generally a wait so get there early or reserve time to wait. Parking is usually only street because the lot only has 4 ish spaces. I also recommend this place to people if they are looking for a place to start their beach day.
The food was so delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful I liked going there the açaí bowl was delicious great job I am going to recommend this place to my friends and family
Traditional Brazilian dishes. Yummy and authentic. The breakfast stuff is relatively standard fare, but I and l typically come for lunch.
What a great little place. Food is excellent with a fantastic menu. I had veggie Cocota ....delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
I had the most lovely experience here on a quiet afternoon. I ordered a hot carafe of coffee paired with hot milk. I was very pleased to see that it came with a side of baguette and a cup of fruit. It was the perfect light snack that made me want to come back for more. The menu looks truly amazing, so I will be returning soon. Please give this small business a try instead of going to McDonald's across the street!
Ive been working in restaurant as for about 4 years. Cafe Brasil is one of the best brunch/breakfast I’ve ever had! The place is a beautiful Brazil styled Cafe. I started with one of their green smoothies and it was just what I needed after a long night out. Then I ordered one of their chicken plates and it comes with beans, rice and fries or side salad all at a really reasonable price. Everyrthing was delicious and my Brothers and I loved everything. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good breakfast or smoothie place.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Café Brazil for the past 12 years, and it still feels like home every time I go. A Brazilian friend first introduced me to this place, telling me she used to come here whenever she missed home because the food reminded her so much of Brazil. As a vegetarian, I can’t speak to the traditional Brazilian dishes, but I absolutely love their brunch options. The menu has a great variety with plenty of vegetarian choices — my go-to is always the Greek scramble. Their juices and açaí are also amazing. The colorful, welcoming atmosphere combined with the consistently kind and attentive staff makes this café a Santa Cruz staple. Whether you’re local or just visiting, Café Brazil is definitely a spot worth knowing and going to!
I have being to Cafe Brazil for about 10 years now and I have never being disappointed. Very consistent and just enough ingredients to all dishes. The best fusion of American breakfast with some amazing breakfast creation with Brazilian touch and nevertheless with original Brazilian dishes for lunch.
Cafe Brasil stunned. Generous portion sizes and delicious food. We worried that we might be in for something basic and bland with the chicken breast for breakfast, but the flavor knocked it out the park, and it was cooked truly to perfection. It was tender, juicy chicken, with a great seasoning and excellent char, paired with potatoes that impressed us all. The feijoada I can't recommend enough. It was my first time trying it, and I was in love. It's a rich, hearty stew that reminded me of red beans & rice, paired with an assortment of sides — rice, collard greens, and farofa (toasted cassava flour) that made each bite its own unique experience. The only thing I found disappointing was that I couldn't finish it all before I had to go. Service: fast and friendly. Atmosphere: cozy, if a little cramped. The next time I'm in Santa Cruz, I will most certainly be trying to make it to Cafe Brasil again. Decidedly a meal worth getting up early for.
Drove through Mission Blvd to look for a taqueria that I had have years ago and stumbled upon this place. Decided to give it a try and it doesn't disappoint! Food: Reasonable prices at a large portion and taste really fresh and good seasoning. Drinks: Offers variety of fresh squeezed juice and smoothies with its own Juice Bar. Customer Service: Young group of service members that are very friendly and welcoming with great smiles and manners. Parking: A handful of parking spots at the back of the Cafe. Seating: Indoor, Patio front and back. Overall: Great service, delicious food with good vibes. Will definitely go back again.

30 years being the best breakfast spot in Santa Cruz. Huevos rancharos for the veggie people. Costa Rican second choice. Passion fruit smoothie, juice, and Açaí bowls are also great.
wonderful food in a sunlit atmosphere. try the feijoda completa.\nAll of the dishes I've had there are excellent. The omelets are superb as well.
Fast service, Extensive Menu, Reasonable Prices--what more do you want? The only thing wrong with this restaurant is that there's always a line of people waiting to get in.

Very nice breakfast/brunch spot. Wonderful staff. Brazilian flair with some traditional breakfast standards. Warm, comfortable atmosphere makes socializing dining with small groups with friends and/or family really pleasurable. Staples like black beans, potatoes, and plantains really shine here
Being that I enjoyed the cuisine as a child and I've had the opportunity to have Brazilian BBQ on multiple occasions, I figured that it would be great to follow up with this home style restaurant. Overall, the food was delicious. Flavors were on point, the amount was just right, and the promptness of service was excellent. In addition, the yelp check-in (though I didn't use it) is a winner if you a driving from out of town. The only reasons why they get docked a star (really 1/2 star) is parking is a mission there, and they ran out of the appetizer that I wanted.
We had a great breakfast here. It's a tiny place with a bit of a wait as it seems pretty popular. The service was good and we were offered coffee while we waited. Was hoping to see caiprainhas on the menu for lunches maybe but maybe they don't have the liquor license for them. We will be back for sure.
This review is mainly for vegetarians. As being one myself, there is a reluctance towards brazilian cuisine as I have mostly related it to steak and majorly non-veg options. But this place changed my view. This is a cute cafe with chill vibes, friendly servers and most importantly enough options for vegetarians. There are some dishes where you can even replace eggs with tofu. All entrees were good, specifically the Greek scramble being our favorite. Plantains were ok, little on the oily side. If you like spicy, ask for their hot sauce. Beware, it is very spicy!!!!
One of my favorite places to get a Brazilian feijoada. I typically get the “completa” but the collard greens have not been very flavorful. Mine is better because I season it with salt, garlic and onions. But the bean stew is always good. Warning ⚠️: the vinagrete was extremely hot last time and I had to remove it from my plate after I poured it. Brazilians don’t put chili peppers 🌶 in vinaigrette. Taste it before you mix with the rest of the food. Overall it’s a quaint place with good service and an extensive menu of Brazilian food. I visit it about 5-6 per year.
Pretty good food, but brutal wait. I got "A Cavalo". Everything was tasty, except for the farofa - I think that's an acquired taste thing. The beef was a bit gristly, maybe that's the style. I'd recommend checking in ahead of time on Yelp, unless your want to sit outside waiting 45 mins for a table.
Got the Feijoada Completa Brazilian specialty dish. Was pretty good although I don't think I ate it right. I poured the beans on the rice, greens and the brown stuff. Wasn't the right move. However very filling and flavorful! Would want to get it again to eat it with a different strategy. The coffee was also pretty good.
There were two young people at the front greeting guests. There were plenty of seats available for two, but we had to wait while one of them greeted their family, while the other just stood there. Once we were finally seated, the two waiters (POC- possibly the owners?) were very sweet and welcoming. The coffee was delicious. The steak was good but could’ve used more seasoning, and the potatoes were tasty. Overall, a nice spot with great coffee and friendly service once seated.
This is a casual eatery that makes one feel that they have stepped into a cafe in Brazil, with all the bright-colored walls and artworks. Even the exterior walls of the house are painted with the colors of the Brazilian flag. The staff were all very friendly. We got there on a weekday a little bit after noon and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. We tried the A Madeira top sirloin steak with sautéed mushrooms in a creamy Madeira wine sauce, muquecas with baby shrimp (cooked in a tomato sauce with coconut milk, palm oil, and green pepper), a small bowl of feijoada (black bean stew with sausages), and Aipim Frito (fried yucca). The steak and shrimp dishes came with rice, farofa (fried cassava flour with some onions) and salad. Taking a bite of the rice and farofa together gives the rice a lot of complexity in flavor and texture. Everything was very tasty, especially with their house spicy sauce (not in the bottles on the tables). The freshly squeezed watermelon juice was good but a little overpriced. Overall it was a great experience trying out Brazilian food rather than those served in a typical Brazilian steakhouse.
We went here Saturday for lunch and we waited less than ten minutes. We were going to Seymour Marine Center, so when we pass by here the place looked packed, so we decided to give it a try if the wait wasn't long. When we sat down, our drink order was taken right away. I got the matte Chai which was delicious. My son ordered sprite, but they ran out. My husband ordered a beer, but they ran out. The food came in less than twenty minutes after ordering. My son's plate was a huge amount for a kids menu. My husband's beef cavalo tasted good just needed some salt. I ordered the gallo pinto and it tasted good. I would go back and try other things. The parking is limited
Got seated right away when arriving 15min on Sunday and didn't notice wait at all while dining. Since lots of review rave about their acai bowl, we ordered a small one just to try but it turned out to be quite tiny for $11.95. Same thing for the banana pancake $11.25 for 1 and comes with just 5 slices of bananas (it was decent pancake tho). I wouldn't recommend their feijaoda if you don't like black bean stew. If you just want to try, just order it as side for $5.75. Seafood muquecas is ok but lack punch so we fix it with their secret homemade hot sauce (a little sour, not garlicky but very spicy). I wish the rice and farofa is separated from the stew tho. Since I don't like black beans, I ordered breakfast version of beef a cavalo which comes with fried potatoes + cheese instead of sautéed onion, green peppers. Meat is a little tough but maybe that's just the Brazilian way. Bumping my rating up to 4* because service was great. They even let us pick some persimmon in the parking lot.
Colorful charming little nook. Friendly staff. LOVED the fried plantains - sweet and caramelized to perfection. The Coxinha de Galinha and Fish muquecas were good too. We had the abacaxi (pineapple w mint and honey) - refreshing and just perfectly sweet. One more mention the house hot sauce (made from malagueta peppers) was HOT but good!
Wanted to try Brazilian food. Fun and colorful restaurant, music a little loud but I am old. Tried steak, stroganoff and seafood. The rice is addicting as well as black beans. Coffee is good. The fish was nice, the sauce tasty. The stroganoff was different with a tomato sauce, great potato sticks. The steak was a little tough but the texture of the meal was nice. Salad was refreshing.

The Food: The food here was mediocre, but still tasted okay. The portions were good, there was plenty there to eat. The flavor on my food was lacking. I think that if the flavor could be spruced up, the food would be very good here. The Ambiance: It was very cramped in there and it was a bit tough to move around if there was anyone else in the area. The servers are always bustling by and if you move your chair out, you have to be mindful of anyone moving around you. The Service: Service was great. They were attentive and we were very happy with our server.
I read about this place a long time ago and I had the opportunity to go for breakfast. It was a cozy little place and it was pretty quiet on the morning we went. The service was great. There were lots of warm, inviting faces. If you like strong coffee, you'll like how they make it. I had poached eggs and avocado on a baguette with tomatoes and mozzarella. It was fresh but it was bland, unfortunately. I added some Brazilian salsa. Although, it was heavy on the onions I was underwhelmed. The potatoes were good. Not dry and a good amount of seasoning. The pancakes were good. They were pretty moist with a sweet maple syrup. All in all, it was just ok. I thought about asking what they are known for and/or what they recommend but i didn't. I'd try it again before I make a final decision but until then it was just so so.
Very disappointing. Got the fish muquecas and beef stroganoff and both just didn't taste as expected. One was bland (fish) and the other was unexpectedly sour (beef). Wait time was wrong and place has very limited parking. Not worth the visit though everyone else seems to rave about the brunch menu. The ambiance was relax. Chill crowd. Good coffee.
The restaurant was empty, a long line of people waiting to be seated and no one available to seat us. They are clearly understaffed. I know the food is good but we weren't in the mood to wait so we left.
The place is very beautiful and warm vibes, but where are the brazilian people cooking and serving? First Brazilian restaurant that there is only 1 Brazilian guy, not even the chef wad brazilian! The food was good, not awesome, but good! As brazilian i really miss some things, like Caipirinha and Guaraná Antarctica! The only Brazilian guy there were awesome, very very nice and polite!
Been coming here weekly for years, it’s one of my favorite restaurants in town. Their prato feito is one of the best and most delicious deals in town. Always been 5 stars to me, even with the price increases, but the past few times I’ve noticed they charge me more than what I tip and sign for. Not sure if this has been happening unnoticed for years but I get notifications from my bank when I’m charged now and it’s really disappointing to see. It makes me sad because I love this place I’ve supported for almost a decade, but I’m not sure how to justify going back and being scammed even if it’s just small amounts at a time. Doubt it’s worth losing a regular over. If I ever went back, I’d only pay cash. The total with tip I write on the check should be what I’m charged and not a cent more.
I came in for breakfast, the morning was bright, But something about it just didn’t feel right. The menus were sticky, the tables had grime, The walls needed wiping, the floors needed time. The food? It was fine — not the worst, not the best, No seasoning sang, it just sat there and guessed. It wasn’t offensive, but nothing to cheer, And way too expensive for toast and eggs here. The parking’s out back, but the lot’s pretty tight, You’ll circle around or just give up the fight. The vibe could be cozy, with just a few tweaks — Like cleaning the corners and wiping the seats. So three stars from me, for a meal that was plain, Not awful, not great — just a bit of a drain. It filled me, sure, but I won’t rush back in… Next time I’ll go find a better begin.
We finally decided to take a chance with this eatery, it’s impossible to find parking in a teeny weeny parking lot and had to park across the street! The wait line was long so come prepared with some reading material, etc, only a couple of benches available, first come first serve! The interior is colorful and depicts the culture of Brazil! The food is good and plenty, and the service is excellent! Sitting is limited inside but there is sitting outdoors! I have to rave about the coffee as well, bold and robustly delicious! Would love to come back at an earlier time and try something different from their extensive menu!
Came here on a Sunday around 11 AM for brunch as a party of 4. There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn't too long. They have indoor and outdoor seating options available. I’d probably recommend sitting outside if you want to be able to hear the person you’re talking to, we had a difficult time hearing each other with all of the people inside. I had ordered the Mixed Seafood Muquecas. At first it was alright, but it was much better with the house made hot sauce. It kind of reminds me of a seafood curry. ~~Parking: They have a very small parking lot in the back of the cafe. There weren't any spots when we arrived but we were able to find street parking and walk over. ~~Tips: Ask for their housemade hot sauce!! It's pretty good! Actually spicy with an after taste of tabasco. ~~Return: Probably.

BUT the takeout containers weren't even biodegradable! It was all normal plastic. Acai bowl was in a PP container. Utensils were normal plastic and had no biodegradable writings. Plastic bag was the typical HDPE bag. Really disappointed in this upcharge for fake "sustainability".
This happened awhile ago but I have never forgotten how shitty I felt being treated the way I was. My daughter was so excited to take me here. When I finally went with her we were in such a happy mood and very hungry. The food was hot and good, but the server was such a nasty witch. We had not had any meaningful conversation outside of taking orders. She was busy and we were eating our food. I asked for a coffee refill. I didn't get it after a few minutes, so when I saw her again I KINDLY reminded her, as I do. Suddenly she looked at me like I had called her the worst name. I honestly have no idea why she snapped but she did and afterwards she refused to help us. If she was that busy and in a bad mood then why wasn't she snapping at all her customers? She definitely wasn't. She gave us a nasty attitude and refused to do her job. When I asked for the manager, she was also rude and didn't want to believe her server was behaving badly. it was like being in The Twilight Zone. You know something's happening but no around wants to believe it. As we were leaving I was still looking for a sane person, so I mentioned to the hostess how the server and manager were behaving and that I couldn't understand the attitude. She just pretended she didn't hear me. It was so bizarre. Not one person apologized or even cared what was done. All we got from the manager were these looks like we had committed some offense. Huh? What offense?! My daughter was embarrassed. I was embarrassed. And for what? Who the hell knows! I later contacted the owner and he could not have cared less. He thought I was lying or making it up. There was no apologies for a ruined meal. Surely I had done something to deserve the bad treatment at his restaurant. Uh, no, that's the point. That's not who I am and that's why I was upset. Nothing was said or done. Turns out the server or manager was someone he knew outside the restaurant and for that reason he was not going to believe they would do anything wrong. Oh please. He could not be more wrong. Plus apologies are free. It would not have killed him to just believe us and apologize for the bad experience. Nope. I guess it ran in the Cafe Brasil family. You can be a jerk and be rude to customers and you never have to apologize. Not sure why anyone thought it would mean something to me to want to get someone in trouble for no reason. To make something up. The truth was not nefarious. It's actually very simple. I wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast with my daughter. Pure and simple. Instead we were treated like crap and not a single person out of the four people we talked to gave a damn. An apology would have been nice. A comped meal would have been nicer. Being believed would have been the best. But no, all we got was arrogance down the line. Thanks for one of the weirdest and worst experiences we've ever had eating out. Something we do all the time and treat everyone with nothing but kindness, respect and good tips. Kindness and respect is something your employees should have demonstrated. You as well.
Acai bowl went up from 7.95 to 13.25 over the last few years. Definitely a place you want to visit, but not a place you want to be a regular. Prices have just become to outrageous. I use to eat here 3 days a week every other week, now I eat here 5 times a year.
Ordered açaí bowls to go which was 80% granola with little açaí and just a couple random pieces of fruit. Significant decrease in quality

Insanely expensive, food had no flavor and portions were wildly inaccurate to the human consumption need. 0 star if I could.
The waitress is rude, long waiting time and no comfortable place to wait (in the rain...) my kids won't come back ever...I do not recommend.
