Came about 3 pm after an 8 hour bus ride and was very pleased with the proportions of the Slam Burger (MASSIVE)! Nothing felt like it took longer than 5 to 10 minutes for food and dessert; drinks were fast as expected. Been to this location countless times and I'm happy with it every time!

l absolutely love this place. I work odd hours and appreciate that I can get a steak n egg dinner late at night or very early in the morning. The food quality is consistently good and the staff is always so kind to me. It's always a pleasant environment in my experience. Monny is the best server!

When you are craving breakfast at 3 am there's no better place to go, in most places, then Denny's. The service was great and breakfast was filling. I was sad to learn that they had discontinued the 4,6,8,10 dollar menu. Next time you're craving breakfast at 3 am I'll see you at Denny's.

I study here almost every night and I personally know the servers now. Andrew, Monica, Eddy, and Ana are friendly and welcoming, I have only been treated with kindness by them. What I like the most is that I perosnally get my coffee served at my table, that and having a place to study at. Overall, good service, good food, and best of all, a good studying place.

Denny's is a generous supporter of veterans on Veterans Day! I found out from my friend that Denny's was giving a free breakfast to all veterans on Veterans Day so I drive over to eat. As I arrived, Denny's on Main Street was even more busy than usual. I was able to park and walk in seated fairly quickly at the counter. I was greeted by a smiling waitress asking I I was a veteran and showed me the flyer with the special Grand Slam menu for the day. I was able to pick any item for a Grand Slam. I selected my favorites and chatted with other veterans near me. It was very fun! 3 other wait person's came up to me and said thank you for my service. They were all smiling and so sincere I felt great! The manager, Brenda, came up and thanked me and wished me a happy Veterans Day! Although she was busy, she spent a few minutes chatting with me about the rush of vets in the restaurant. I told her I didn't often think of my service in the Marines, but Denny's made the day great and I really appreciated what they were doing! By the way, the breakfast was great - the hash browns were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were fluffy and light! Thank you Brenda and everyone at Denny's. You are All-American in my book!

Had breakfast today and ordered the 55+ starter: 1 egg 1 bacon and hash browns and toast. The toast was pitiful. Not toasted evenly at all and a spray of butter in the middle but not spread across the bread evenly. The scrambled egg was really dry and more like a sponge. The hash browns were perfectly cooked! The bacon was obviously pre-cooked and not hot or crisp. The orange juice was very good.

Denny's is a staple for a quick breakfast or a meal. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served here. The food is mediocre at best, and the same in all Denny's restaurants. Today, we went for breakfast at the Santa Maria location. The menu is vast, filled with all sorts of combinations to the point where it gets confusing. I wanted a pancake with eggs and a sausage. Seemed like a simple request, but this combination comes in more than ten ways with various prices. I almost ordered the items separately because I did not want all the extras for $17. The waiter showed me a simple breakfast menu where they serve two pancakes, two eggs, sausages, and hash browns for $7.49. When the bill came, I was charged the $17. Which only the manager could rectify. Time waster. In fact, after we were seated, it took a while to place our order. Then, after 40 minutes and guests who arrived after us were being served, we had to locate the server and ask about our order. I believe he never put it in because it took another 15 minutes before we were served. We had to find our server again to ask for our check, which was wrong as mentioned. It took us just under two hours for a quick mediocre breakfast. Very upsetting. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. The sausage and hash browns were good. My friends omelet was very basic and not warm. My other friend had a breakfast sandwich with lacked the "breakfast" part and was also served not warm. The coffee was good, and I liked that they provided a small metal pot at the table, enabling the customer to pour their own refills. I think the server may have had some problems, which is why our order took so long and why he never checked on us or wrote up our order correctly. The restaurant was clean. There were many customers inside the restaurant and several customers picking up to-go orders. There was adequate parking. The employees were well presented, just not on top of customer service or helping each other out.

I've gone to many Denny's throughout California and they have provided exceptional service, however this diner failed to live up to that standard. Upon entering, my family and I were told to wait for about 20-30 minutes and we waited. I understood, it was the weekend and we weren't the only families in town. Soon enough, it had been 45 minutes and still nothing. Finally, about 5 minutes before the hour passed, one of my family members went inside and asked what happened. They said the table was cleaned and we were seated. We were greeted by one of the nicest waitresses there, sadly I forgot her name. She took our drinks and arrived on time (although she forgot my water but it was okay, it was the weekend and it was only a drink). The food though, this was the problem. My food was completely cold, had no cheese, and had tasted completely bland. My brother recieved his hash browns burnt and his eggs were WAY too wet.

Called to order to-go for Veterans' day to try and pick food up before another engagement, expecting to be able to show ID at pickup. I'm told the system isn't able to do that so we need to arrive in person to show ID prior to putting in the order. Got 3 people in the car so they could show ID to the cashier in person. Drove to Denny's to find the place (understandably) slammed at 9 am. Front counter tells us it's dine-in only. Please, if you don't do to-go orders, tell me before I waste everyone's (and my) time. Happy Veteran's day. I'll go to the Pantry instead.
