I've loved this place for years. Great food, great drinks, and my favorite place to bring guests visiting LA. I love that they have vegan meat, vegan milks, and gluten free bread options (in addition to the usual things for my meat, gluten, and dairy loving friends). I love that you go right up and order (instead of waiting for a waiter), and can enjoy the breeze outside or inside.

In A Nutshell: -Wow, Bluey's has one of the best breakfast burritos I've eaten. -Their drip coffee tastes pretty good too, above average. -I like the beach-vibe they have going on. -The location is cool too, feels like it's in the middle of a trailer park/commercial area. Overall, Bluey's is a great place to grab some breakfast on the go!

As usual, found this place by accident. I happen to be in the neighborhood and I googled nearby restaurants. I was a little hungry and guess what? I found this location. I'll go back whenever I'm in the area. It's worth the wait and line there. Lots of people that this seems like a destination and they're great shops down the alley and the surf shop next door is a fun place as well. Kudos to the couple that created this little jam in Los Angeles. I do have photos! They aren't my best work but they are photos.

We came here for a weekday lunch, and tried the fried egg sandwich and the steak sandwich. Both were delicious! They have extremely crispy bread and flavorful sauces inside that makes the food hard to put down. Fries are also an excellent side. The atmosphere is chill and the workers have a good attitude. I will definitely return to try more of their menu.

Wonderful ambience and lovely outdoor seating. Great service. Delicious food, not oily, feels healthy, and some of the flavors are unique. Must visit. The waiting time peaks in the day around 1230pm. We had the lentil beet sandwich such was great (5/5), Blueys Breakfast (4/5), and sweet Halloumi, which was a unique dish with the right amount of sweetness - only a hint. All ingredients tasted really fresh. The Blueys Breakfast did have one of the best bacon I've had = light and crispy.

We were in the area and Bluey’s looked like such a cool spot, so we decided to give it a try. Parking was a bit limited — there are some places you can park, but others are clearly labeled that you can’t, so just be mindful of the signs. The atmosphere inside was cool and welcoming, with a laid-back vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. I ordered the Matcha Latte with vanilla sweetener and a regular coffee (which comes with free refills — always a plus). We also had the burrito and the sweet squash pancakes. Everything was well made and nicely presented, and our server was very kind and attentive. The portions were good and the coffee was great. The only downside was that the food could have used a bit more flavor overall. Overall takeaway: great coffee, generous portions, friendly service, and a cool atmosphere — just hoping for a little more seasoning next time!

It’s probably easier to find parking at the Century City Mall than there is to find a brunch spot in Santa Monica that won’t burn your wallet, but fortunately Blueys is still in an affordable range. Plus I love the surfer shack vibes! I got a ham breakfast burrito, which was very filling — although I was very confused because mine had green onions? While it wasn’t what I expected, I now think that green onions in breakfast burritos are elite. Mine also came like 10 minutes before everyone else’s (they got chorizo) and mine was barely toasted compared to theirs. The service was very off-putting, though — the person at the cashier was genuinely the only employee there who didn’t sound like a mean girl. I understand that the 10am brunch hour is insanely busy but we are also trying our best to stay out of your way in the small walkways 😭

Charming little brunch spot tucked just off Olympic in Santa Monica. I stopped by early on the weekend and was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the food. I tried the coffee and pancakes, and both were excellent—perfectly prepared and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a morning meal. I’d definitely return for another visit.

Blueys Breakfast and orange juice was $28, which is way more than the prices here. The food quality is okay, but not for this price.

I live right next to Blueys and come all the time. It’s definitely delicious but their menu isn’t as big as I’d like - as a vegetarian, I feel like options are somewhat limited. The breakfast burrito is not super flavorful but still solid. Drinks, pastries, and other sweet items are amazing. Overall it’s a great and reliable spot.

This location is right by the beach with limited parking nearby especially on a Thursday in the morning as most signs state street cleaning from 8am-10am. We came here around 9:45am so right before the time ended. The location is very busy as you can see in the photos so we were seated outside which is nice as there are tables, chairs and benches. The food was an incredible American bistro and the sweet squash pancakes were crunchy and just right. The location is beautiful, up-kept and clean and a great place to work and enjoy your breakfast as this location was rather quiet despite how busy! It's also a great place to eat outside with your pups as most dog owners would come by for breakfast!

Blueys is a trendy spot hidden between industrial buildings. Around 10am on a Saturday there was already a line, but Outdoor seating is comfortable and plenty and oozes beach vibes. Parking could be tricky. Breakfast burrito was good, but I had better. My company had the Blueys breakfast with scrambled eggs, which she really liked. The Sweet Squash Pancakes were great. Will definitely go back and try some other items.

Cute spot. Tried to come here on a weekend a few months ago and couldn’t find parking or seating and there was a line out the door. Was able to sit easily coming in around 11 on a Monday. We got two Bluey’s breakfasts, one scrambled and one sunny side up. The food was fresh but nothing to write home about for the price. I would come back but I would try something different. Heard good things about the pb smoothie bomb and the pancakes look good.

I see I’m not alone with finding their cashiers rude. I realized I keep tipping, and keep wishing I hadn’t. Good food, decent coffee, great location and fairly nice ambience, always shitty service, no greeting, rude demeanor. At least they have quality latte art
