This El Pollo Loco is somehow significantly better than every other location. Just tastes so much better than the other ones and it’s not even close. Nothing beats it at this price point. Highly recommend.

This el pollo loco set up is different as there is no drive through option. Only can dine or do take out. There is limited parking at this Santa Monica location. It is a vibe one of the el pollo loco placed that I have ever been too thus far. Would definitely recommend you check out this location. They have the new stuffed quesadillas for people who are looking for this. They have a lot of promos. This location has a lot of space for you and your family to gather up for food and eat inside. It is wheel chair accessible as well.

Highly recommended! The place is very clean, the food is fresh and tasty, service is good, and the prices are reasonable! I think it’s the best option to dine in the area if you want to have something fresh and healthy and don’t have a pile of money in your pocket.

Best Pollo Loco in the area. The Pollo Loco on Washington has an owner that does not care. This one is better.

The service and food were pretty good. Decent prices and portions. I'd say the inside feels kind of outdated and not super welcoming but if you're taking an order to go it's a good option.

I just ordered 3 burritos for $7.19 each. Attached you will see the receipt and a picture of the burrito. First time I receive a burrito smaller than my pen.

The staff is totally lost during lunch. The cashier runs back and forth between handling food and doing the register. Gross!

It says online that they take EBT 😔 the whole reason I went there was to use my EBT and get food hadn't eaten in 2 days when I got there they refused to EBT and they charged me almost $18 for two large mashed potatoes and the mashed potato size was like a medium sized it wasn't large. Complete rip-off they can barely speak English sometimes I wonder if we live in America and our native language is English or Spanish.

I honestly don’t think this is sanitary. On top of it they were washing down the grills and having the water spray onto the chicken that was cooking onto the open grill next to it. New owner or something is needed asap and yes supposedly those are “new” shells...newsflash, shells should be made around the clock on a timely basis so they are actually FRESH shells and not at 8am to be out til 10 pm at night. That’s ridiculous...can learn a thing or two from the location at 5319 sunset, never had a problem with their shells. Unfortunately I’m no longer close to that location.
