While it’s not the most photogenic burger, it is definitely one of the best classic burgers with a twist I’ve had! We got the Ashton fries that have cheese pastrami and some light spice, they were the bomb! For the burger I went with the pastrami heat which has 2 beef smash patties and pastrami, I will definitely be coming back!

Hands down, the best burger I’ve ever had in my life! The HiHo Double Cheeseburger was simply phenomenal—so juicy and flavorful, with patties that literally melt in your mouth. Every bite was perfection! The chicken fingers were just as impressive. The crispy, golden batter had the perfect crunch, and the chicken inside was incredibly tender and juicy. You could tell the quality was top-notch. Even though the place was busy, the wait wasn’t too long, and the overall experience was fantastic. And the fact that all their meat is Halal? That’s just the cherry on top! If you’re a burger lover, HiHo is a must-try. Can’t wait to go back!

Hi-Lo Burger is hands down the best spot for a cheeseburger in Santa Monica! The HiHo Double is absolutely divine, the fries are phenomenal, and the key lime pie is to die for. On top of that, the service is incredible. I could easily eat here every day!

I went here for the first time after arriving in Los Angeles. Their burgers are incredibly flavorful and juicy, especially the triple-patty pastrami burger. The meat is succulent and fresh, and the sauce is flavorful. I think it's the best burger in Los Angeles. Additionally, this beef is halal. The server showed me the certificate with enough kindness. The staff members is polite.

Really nice burger place! Although it's a cheeseburger store, we got the double fried chicken tender burger and it was the bomb. The coating is crispy and the chicken is so tender and juicy, yet so flavorful. Recommend getting some salad to balance out some of the greasiness of all the fried food though.

Listen up, HiHo Cheeseburger is doing a whole thing with that 100% Wagyu beef, and I’ll give 'em credit—it’s got a distinctly good, different flavor that definitely stands out in a town obsessed with chasing the "perfect" meal. It’s clean, it’s snappy, the potato bun holds up, and it’s a perfectly solid piece of Americana re-imagined for the Santa Monica crowd. But here’s the rub: it’s good, not "I'm going to rethink my life choices after this bite" perfect. It’s like watching a really excellent sitcom; highly enjoyable, absolutely worth your time, but you’re not going to be quoting it thirty years from now. It’s a great burger, just one tiny step shy of being the kind of burger I’d risk losing my beachfront parking spot for.

Expensive and dry... Was glad they had a vegetarian option at all, but I definitely wouldn't come back. The workers were all really friendly but my food took over 20 minutes to come out, and was a disappointment once it did.

Location was easy to get to. Plenty of street parking and a parking structure across the street. My husband was super excited to have lunch here after my doctors appointment. Store was very clean. Very open seating inside. There were 2 tables outside, the one we sat at was dirty and I hadn’t brought my wipes. The other table was being used. To order, there are printed laminated menus. I’m not a big burger eater, so I usually get a child’s size. When I asked to order that the gentleman just said I was ordering a HiHo Double? I was not sure. Of course, then I realized they do have single patty burgers. Had I read the entire menu. I then asked if they are the same size, the kids and the Classic? Another gentleman then chimed in and said they are all the same size, it’s the double patty. So I just said yeah I’ll take that. I had given up. I wasn’t too hyped to eat a double but again, my husband was excited to eat here. I don’t remember adding fries. As I usually just pick them and never eat the entire order of fries. But apparently I did agree to fries. I ordered chocolate Oreo shake. My husband ordered the Chicken tenders and fries. He wanted a fountain drink but they were not working. Only bottled or can drinks were available. We sat outside and waited. Husband went to get our order. The meal looked nice and appeasing. The shake was the first item I tried. It was good. Nothing exciting to gush about. Just a shake with Oreos. The fries were perfectly cooked, a list crisp and delicious. They looked a bit greasy. For the burger, it was a good burger. Also not too phased to say oh my god this is amazing…. If anything it was just good. I liked the pastrami I added to it more than the burger. I wasn’t too crazy about the bun. I ate almost half and gave the rest to my husband. Glad we can check it off our foodie list. Used their restroom which was very poorly lit. I guess that’s the style but it was clean.

Reminds me of Umami burger a bit. Smaller Brioche buns with thick smashed patties. Tasty, but reminds me of a lot of different gourmet burger places I've been to. Fries are darker side of the spectrum. Properly double-fried. Some were crispy, some were bit burnt, and others were bit soft. No tip policy is great yet there's a 6% unexplained fee on our bill. It's still cheaper than my standard tip, but prefer that to be included into the menu price if the restaurant has confidence in quality. Cashier dude was modestly nice. I like his level of interaction with first time customers like us.

This location prides itself on the quality of meat. And I'll give it that, the meat is noticeable higher quality, and that's across the board, from the French fries to shakes, using real sugar. Even down to the ketchup. But with that being said, it still feels like an a fancier better tasting in/out. So I would recommend the place if you're a local, I wouldn't say - go all out of your way across town for it.. but all in all - enjoyable - staff was friendly

Disappointed!!! $25 for this portion and a small drink. I was served soggy fries and the patties tasted burned. NEVER AGAIN. PS: There is an added fee added to your bill but they don’t tell you and there is no signs of such thing clearly visible.
