If you are traveling thru this region, you should definitely make this a stop. Terrific meal in a comfortable and friendly setting. We might even come for a staycation just to get away from SOCAL.

A must-stop travel lunch spot! This was my second visit to The Kitchen at the Mission, and it never fails to impress. The atmosphere is charming, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the service is consistently warm. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. A pleasant little surprise on a northward drive to Sacramento. The hotel and restaurant were fairly quiet on a Tuesday in December. Very warm environment with a lovely server who took our order promptly and was very responsive to our requests. We both had tasty salads. I added Salmon and Avocado to mine. The Salmon was a bit dry but tasty. Very clean restrooms as well.

This is such a gem to our area. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. The ambiance is great, music not too loud we can hear eachother without having to yell. The food was superb, as we're the drinks. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend The Kitchen to all.

So glad this place didn't close down. They have updated and it looks so inviting. The food was amazing. Although pricey, it was delicious, fresh tasting and flavorful. Service was also top notch. Spent our 10 yr anniversary here as we had gotten married in this location. Renovation looks amazing now. They also had a really educational kid coloring page. Jakob was attentive and nice. I had ordered dairy free pizza but they got it wrong but they did correct it.

Stopped by for some dinner on the way to the Bay Area. Was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. We ordered the wagyu beef burger and the Ketel 1 Spicy pasta. Both were delicious and of good flavor and quality. Service was pleasant and fast! Ambience is also nice old charm type vibe with 70-80’s music in the background. Food is a tiny bit on the pricier side, about $30pp. We had a good time and plan to visit again. There are also a LOT of superchargers in the parking lot. We charged up our Tesla while getting dinner.

Her urgency, awareness, and quick action during a critical moment amazed us. When my daughter choked, Dalia's immediate response was lifesaving. She stayed by our side, displaying unmatched preparedness until my daughter was safe. I'm forever grateful for her incredible service and quick thinking—she's a true hero! 🙏👏 🚽📸 And the bathrooms? Unbelievably clean! I usually don't take pictures, but this place impressed me so much that I did. A true testament to their attention to detail and cleanliness standards. I'm forever grateful for Dalia's outstanding service and the overall excellence of this establishment! 🙏👏

While driving to the hotel, we made dinner reservations. What a wonderful surprise! The staff and food were over the top amazing! The flavors were unmatched with all the restaurants we've ever been to! And the presentation of the food matched the flavors!! I wanted to move here! Lol We had Ahi Poke Nachos, which paired perfectly with our Jalapeño Pineapple Margaritas, followed by the most amazing Ribeye Steaks we've ever had!! I tell you, this place is phenomenal! Shout out to, Kristin and Nancy, who double teamed our table! They were friendly and Amazing!

The breakfast is fantastic...opens at 7AM daily...service is perfect...quality excellent. Twice we have enjoyed The Kitchen at The Mission. BTW...great dog park on premise...and the grounds continue to amaze. Well worth the stop.

First time at the Mission, and this place didn't disappoint. Why eat fast food when u have this place. Don't even bother going to that soup place on the other side. This place is way better. The lounge is cozy, especially after a long drive. The service was excellent. Our waiter was awesome I forgot her name.

Country fried steak tasted good and mimosas were good too, my fruend had the chilaquiles and she loved them, so that was good. The only thing I was not happy with was the coffee. It tasted weak, and they did not refill it as many times I was hoping for. But overall, it was a pleasant visit that I had to give them another chance, and we stopped by on our way back for dinner. Jacob, our waiter, was definitely great with customer service. I do recommend this place.

Went for the first time for brunch buffet for my mom’s birthday and we were sat with no menus for drinks, had to wait a bit for condiments and soup spoons but otherwise the food selection was awesome and the food was tasty. It could have been warmer but thankfully the flavor was there! Loved all the options! Would definitely give it a second try.

I heard many comments about their tomahawk steak. I decided to buy it. $140 plate. I asked for medium rare. After 30 min i end up with very well done. They did offer to redo it,but I was not about to wait another 30 min. After paying $220+ for two people they did offer to give me a $10 dessert. The atmosphere is nice as you have a chance to sit at the garden. Overall disappointed

Food as well as servers were fabulous! Bartender in bar on 12/19 with bangs was rude!! Ignored us from beginning and was so unkind and not personable. She said she was cutting us off after 2 white claws and continued to serve everyone around me and ignore me. Not ok! I’ve never been treated like this and definitely was so confused that i’ll never go there at that time again because it gave me a bad taste in my mouth! Later the bartenders switched and we had Christine and she was wonderful!

Had dinner on Friday, the day before Valentines Day. We arrived about 7:45. It was crowded. We ate in the bar area. Service was slow. Ordered beef Wellington and Pork chop dinners. Food arrived lukewarm, veggies were cold, as if it had been sitting for a while. Ordered bread pudding for dessert. At that time the dinner rush had left. Oddly enough dessert took 25 min to arrive and it too was lukewarm. Vanilla ice cream, served separate, was melted. It was obvious that it was sitting for a bit. Very disappointed as this restaurant has been around for a while and should be more efficient on a holiday weekend. For $200 the food should not have been cold and bread pudding should have been warmed.
