Fuimos el sábado sin reserva y por suerte nos quedó una mesa. Pedimos las rabas para empezar, buenísimas, y el cachopo... madre mía. Casi no lo acabamos y eso que somos dos con hambre. Lo que sobró nos lo pusieron para llevar sin problema. El personal muy majo, la chica que nos atendió super atenta. Repetimos seguro 🙈
Este domingo pasado estuvimos en el Irrintzi, llamé para reservar y les comenté que en una anterior ocasión había encargado un arroz con bogavante y quería repetir, pero me dijeron que hace tiempo dejaron de hacerlo pero que aún así me lo iban a preparar y sin duda no puedo estar más agradecida porque fue un acierto total. El arroz estuvo muchísimo mejor de lo que recordaba, en el punto perfecto y con un sabor increíble. El servicio expectacular, las camareras fueron dos chicas encantadoras que estuvieron atentas en todo momento y muy agradable tratar con ellas. Para nosotros volver al Irrintzi es un acierto seguro.
Comí menú fin de semana,lleguamos sin reserva y nos dieron sitio. Pedimos Morcilla y croquetas variadas de la carta,la morcilla tengo que decir que está fría para ser a la parrilla y las croquetas estaban muy buenas. Con el menú de sobra,raciones generosas y los postres muy buenos. Buenas atención y rapidez.Lo recomiendo. Está vez no hice ninguna foto,fallo mío
Almost 1kg of cachopo stuffed with cured beef and cheese, salad, lots of potatoes, peppers, and fried eggs for €46. A generous portion (you can take it to go since there are leftovers) and very tasty. The dining room has a lovely glass window that lets in plenty of light, and the waiters/waitresses are very friendly.
Incredible dining experience! The menu is generous in both quantity and quality. Everything was delicious, but the star dish was definitely the suckling pig. 100% recommended! The meat was tender and juicy, with an intense flavor that took our breath away. But what really surprised us was the friendliness of the restaurant staff—super attentive and helpful! And best of all, we arrived without a reservation, and they still made room for us—that's true customer service! We will definitely try this menu again and recommend it to all our friends.

Stone-cooked ribeye steak of excellent quality. We received excellent service, and everything we ordered was a success. We'll definitely return when we can. We're eager to order the daily menu, as every dish looked fantastic. Congratulations to the entire team for their work.
The place is large, spacious, and very well maintained. I went yesterday with my family for lunch, and everything was delicious! The lasagna was incredible, the entrecote was cooked to perfection, and the fritters for dessert were amazing. The service was quick and attentive; we didn't have to wait at all to order, even though it was packed. Excellent teamwork! I'll be back! 🤗

We ate on the interior terrace and the experience was excellent. The service was quick and the waiters were very friendly and pleasant. We ordered the set menu (€17) and I ordered a chickpea and tripe stew that was amazing, the kind that could revive the dead. The portion was so generous it could have been enough for four people, no exaggeration. It was accompanied, of course, by good quality country bread. The grilled meat was tender, with delicious potatoes. The pepper, however, was a little tough and the grilled meat was somewhat bland for a steakhouse, but overall everything was very good. The mixed salad is very simple to make, but not everyone knows how to do it well (the same goes for a fried egg). It was very good, well-presented, and a generous portion. The quality, quantity, and price were very well balanced. I give it an 8.5/10 without hesitation.
We went for lunch today for the first time and everything was fantastic: friendly service, delicious food, and generous portions. All the waiters were attentive to our needs, clearing our plates without being pushy, always with a smile, and bringing the food out quickly. And of course, everything was delicious! Plus, the place is lovely. We'll definitely be back!
We ordered delicious starters and two mixed grills, one fish and one meat, both tasty. Our mistake was taking them both out at the same time, as they got cold. They should have warned us about that. The table was small for all the food we ordered. One thing we didn't like was that we had the same dish for the entire meal, given the variety of food we had. The service was excellent, provided by a blonde waitress with curls.
Castilian cuisine at this restaurant in Medina de Pomar. Easy parking and a lovely terrace. The portions are generous; we were a group of four: two adults and the children. We ordered salad and delicious lamb chops, and cod in a Biscayan sauce—homemade with a hint of chorizo pepper and no canned tomatoes, just as it should be. The children's menu is €11, but even though we only ordered pork loin with potatoes, they charged us for the whole thing. The portions are generous, but the quality/price ratio is... a bit pricey for the area.
The service was very good, both from the guy at the bar and the waitresses in the dining room. On the other hand, the food... words fail me. It wasn't to my liking. The dessert, well, the rice pudding was bad; it tasted like it had been left out and curdled. It was so bad it gave me a stomachache. The roast chicken was just chicken cooked in fat. The chocolate cake was incredibly dry, it had no flavor at all. They put way too much mayonnaise on the five grilled prawns they served as a starter.
I've updated my review from last year because something has changed at this restaurant. Four set menus were tried, and the only thing that was good value for money was the fish soup. The paella (oily and bland), the escalope (too breaded and with some gristle), the entrecôtes (thin and underseasoned), the tripe (neither tripe nor pig's feet, and far too spicy), and the cured beef (dry and tasteless, plus too much oil)... Quite disappointing. The homemade desserts were excellent. Compared to previous visits, I would look for other options before returning.
The €25 weekend menu was terrible, on par with a poorly prepared set menu. "Paella" with vegetables that make no sense and a strange flavor. For the main course, we had pork cheeks with a whole jar of oregano, the smell alone was enough to put us off. The dessert was acceptable. But it's definitely not a menu for a weekend, much less something to pay €25 for. We ended up ordering a dish from the menu because the menu was inedible. We won't be returning, much less recommending it.
