Yummy Tijuana-style street tacos. I had the Carne Asada. I’ll need to return and try some of the other menu items.

Service and food are always great. Best taco Tuesday special in San Diego, and they also have TJ style hot dogs!

This is a very authentic taco spot. I went here on Taco Tuesday and it was mad decent, with really good prices. I don't think this is the best spot for a vegetarian, there were fish tacos, beef, pork and chicken, in different settings. They have some salsa you can also get on the counter to add that extra spice to your food. It's a small place, you order on the counter and try to get a table while you're waiting, if it's not too crowded. When I was here there were even some people waiting outside, which is a very good sign for business if you ask me. But it was Taco Tuesday nonetheless. The tacos weren't huge but they're great for the price. Recommended.

I love Mexican food this spot was really good. I had a carne asada burrito and a shredded beef taco which both were amazing! Staff was friendly and place is well kept. No restroom just an fyi.

I would highly recommend you go here for Taco Tuesday. The parking can be a little tricky so you go park at Chicano Park and walk over to the restaurant.

I heard these were the best tacos in San Diego so I just had to stop by and judge for myself.. In my opinion, not only were they the best I’ve had in SD, they were, dare I say it, better than “TJ” tacos. Tacos were bigger than I expected, I had the “trompo” (al pastor) tacos and my wife had the carne asada tacos. They were both stuffed with lots of meat and the guacamole was perfect. Tortillas held up pretty good and were dipped in oil just like they do down in TJ. Salsa bar was fresh with all the fixin’s you would want on your taco. I’m so ecstatic that I came to this place while visiting San Diego!! Most places claim to have authentic TJ tacos but, this place actually delivers. I love all the pictures and decor, the place was really clean. We will definitely be back on our next trip to San Diego.

Nice hole in the wall restaurant. Good tacos and burritos, and they even offer very reasonably priced daily specials of menu items. I love the Al Pastor, it's very good! I didn't care for the fish taco very much, but it wasn't bad either. The woman who usually takes my order at the counter is very nice and friendly. I look forward to eating here when I'm in the area. The parking lot gets full at lunch time so I try to avoid the lunch rush.

I come here every morning to buy my clients burritos for breakfast! They love it! Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff!!

Adoba fries are good. They give plenty fries. My hubby loves them.

So I've been Here a handful of times... I always encounter the same cashier. She's always so rude, never smiles, she's just not welcoming 😒. The food is good 8 out 10 but the hot sauce ratio is whack. 3 hot sauce for carne Asad nacho that I paid 17 dollars for. I asked for 3 more lol and had to pay an additional 50 cents 🤣

Got an Uber Eats order. The guac was nowhere to be seen so I had to eat dry chips. Nobody wants dry chips. I'd rather they had forgotten the tacos 🤣 Also, the meat wasn't tender, felt like it had been there a while. Flavours were excellent though, despite the tough meat.

Tacos looked good, however taste wise was not as appetizing as promised. Ordered 3 tacos, all of them with good amount of guacamole which is a plus. Adobada was ok but not much flavor on it, I think was the best one with a solid 5, the worst one were chorizo and carnitas with a lot of salt, not enough lime was good to smooth the saltiness, salsa were below average from every other taco shop, not spicy at all, this surprised me cause Ive been at the Chula Vista location at broadway and I’ve had good food. I would suggest to pay more attention to the saltiness on food. P.S. tortillas there are a solid 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Solid Mediocre. Got a Carne asada burrito. It was majority tortilla, barely any meat. Seasoning was meh. Save your $ and get a burrito 🌯 from El Paisa or Cotijas nearby. I’m bummed out cause this spot was highly recommended Over all it’s solid meh.

Most unfriendly young lady at the register. To go order, luckily checked the bag. Missing French fries, husband stated she said I should’ve ordered it in the first place. He asked why did you charge us for it? After showing receipt she’s quick to blame the cook. She told us everything was inside the bag, wonder whose fault that really was. She’s might be family being made to work. Shows her attitude, she doesn’t care and it shows. Dragged husband to get food, embarrassed this person was not the same as the ppl in morning who were way more accommodating.

I’m a uber driver. I picked some food today to deliver. He made me wait 20 minutes. I almost canceled. And I saw him pick up the sausage with his nasty hands and placed on the plate. I tried to tell the customer. But she didn’t speak English.

The tacos have no flavor and wouldn't recommend their vaso de elote that's an 8oz container with canned chewy corn for 4.99$ First and last time going there.

I'm from out of town and decided to stop by this restaurant. BIG MISTAKE!! To start the lady taking the orders up front has no social customer service skills, very unfriendly. My husband asked if they had a towel to clean the table because it was dirty and she said they'll take care of it, we got our order and my husband reminded her about the table and came over to clean the table and in a sarcastic tone said "sorry for not cleaning the table earlier". Again, very rude. Food: the tacos are not great. I've tasted better. If you're around that area you're better off going to Tacos el Gordo. The 1 star goes to the mango water which was decent. Otherwise, -0 stars.

The lady at the front ignored us standing at the front waiting to order. She was doing other tasks, but it's really easy to say hi I'll be with you shortly. Not turning your back to everyone. That's customer service. The fish tacos were really dry and hard to swallow this time really strange. They tasted reheated, the food is usually pretty good. Now the really disheartening and disgusting behavior comes. A man came in he was homeless and struggling to stand. He wasn't intoxicated, beligerant, or doing anything wrong. He was stopped and asked what he was doing rudely and loudly for everyone to hear. He asked is this where I order? I'd like to order, the lady spits out a rude yeah. He orders asks how much it is takes money out to pay for his food. Lady hands him the receipt and loudly says it's to go okay!! Unbelievable how degrading and disgusting. He's a human being doing nothing wrong and has money to pay for his food. Nasty behavior. He stood there struggling to stand looked like he was in pain. Pulled a seat out for him to sit down at our table while waiting. Treat people with respect and dignity. He did nothing wrong was not disrespectful or intoxicated. Chairs and tables can be wiped down they should be regardless of who sits at them. I don't see myself returning here I'm so disappointed and shocked. I usually bring any family and friends visiting for food but sadly I won't be anymore. Everyone deserves respect, everyone.
