Fantastic lunch, we had crab cakes that were light yet full of flavors. The veal marsala was tender and with hints of the wine coming through. The linguine tuttimare was excellent having enough sauce to go with the pasta. The puff pastry dessert was out of this world! Airy and fluffy! Definitely will be back.
Sure one of the best Italian restaurants in Satatoga. Dishes are so tasty and friendly staffs are always there to assist every-way possible. This place has out side seating which adds up to the ambience. They have inside seating too. There are many dedicated parking around this restaurants, so parking is not an issue.
We went for brunch and ordered seafood salad, burger, and seafood pasta. Very tasty. Service was great as well. Great view from the restaurant
I always love going here for lunch. A nice spinach salad and steamed mussels is a fantastic way to share with the wife. 😁
We were looking for a place to eat on a Sunday morning and discovered this little gem in Saratoga. Ruben was an amazing server and the salmon Benedict was amazing! All of the breakfast dishes come with delicious cinnamon rolls and fruit. I highly recommend checking it out for brunch if you’re in the area.
What a wonderful place. Superb pasta dishes, fresh salads, fantastic appetizers. Do order the pomegranate margarita and linguine with clams. If you're lucky, Marco will be there as your host and server. He's too notch and knows the menu. Thank you Marco for an exceptional experience.
Great place, we've been several times over the years. Except for the following, our server was excellent. We're gluten free (allergy) and were told we could get gluten free bread for the table. Everyone else of course gets free bread, so we were surprised by the $10 charge. This was our only disappointment, we weren't told there was a charge ahead of time. I brought it to the server's attention but nothing was done to fix it.
Clyde and Jen and their amazing staff make you feel like welcomed friends! I stop by here 1 or 2 times a week on my way home and just unwind. Whether appetizers or entrees, the food is wonderful. The creations from the bar are never disappointing or weak. I recommend Bella Saratoga to all my friends and family. Their attitude toward the community is also commendable!
Every dish I've had here has been phenomenal. I've only been a few times, but they always have a great daily special dish, and their Staples are fantastic. The servers are always friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is also very welcoming, as if you're dining in someone's personal dining room and not a restaurant. OH and I forgot to talk about the bread, with the cheese/butter spread... Out of this world.
This is very cute and cozy place. The resturant is in a historic home giving it a unique setting. The food is very well done and they have alot of healthy but yummy options. The staff are extremely friendly and try thier best to make sure you are happy, it really is A plus service. The resturant it self is located in a cosy little town I recommend walking around. Me and my husband had a lovely experience here.
Great place! Really nice and professional staff, amazing pastas, and good atmosphere.
Another good Italian restaurant in the area. Gnocchi, past primavera must haves for vegetarians. Gnocchi portion looks small but it’s very filling. Delicious Tiramisu and chocolate raspberry cake👌🏼 Good vegetarian options even for (no mushrooms) us. We did reserve ahead day after Thanksgiving(1st floor indoors). Our verbal autistic child was quite loud sometimes but the room was spacious and with tables filled it was not very obvious.
We had the Chicken and Mushroom Linguine, Eggplant Rollatini, and Petrale Sole. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. The service was excellent, and the ambience was lovely, making it a very enjoyable dining experience.
My wife and I had lunch there, a Tuesday in late June. Had never been there before and was actually headed somewhere else when we walked by. Their patio was so inviting that we turned on our heels and ate here instead. We were seated right away. Service was excellent. Cocktail (Saratoga Mule) and house red wine were excellent. Food was exceptional! I had a taste of my wife's Veal Piccata -- it was the best I can remember! My Wagyu Bella Burger also set a new standard in my book. Prices are consistent with other restaurants and the food was better. I would go back at any opportunity.
Great food and drinks. We were a large party ... So, the upstairs area got really warm with so many people in a small-ish room. The minestrone was excellent as was the pasta primavera (comes with a creamy sauce). The mushroom polenta was a bit sweet ... Wasn't a big favorite at the table.
Seated upstairs. Great service. Tried the mussels and clams appetizer with olive oil instead of butter and the pasta primavera with a red sauce. The bread is homemade and also very good. My wife tried the Halibut special and my son the fettuccine Bolognese. The appetizer was excellent, the wine sauce was delicious. My pasta was OK, a little over done even for fresh pasta. The red sauce was good. The Bolognese was also excellent and the pasta was better. The Halibut was yummy.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We dined for lunch and sat outside. It was nice under the umbrellas but we were in the corner and the server forgot about us a few times. I would definitely go back as I saw items at other tables that looked equally as good and I want to try.
Italian food as you always cherished it -- freah pasta and superb sauces Wide selection of wines and savory specialty cocktails. Oddly missing non-alcoholic Italian sodas, offering only lemonade or carbonated drink upon request since they are not listed in the menu Service can be slow upstairs, especially if it is hopping outside -- had to skip dessert to make our event on time
Went to this place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and had the most amazing experience ever! The food was just delicious, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly, and the workers were nothing but kind. We ordered the salmon ravioli and the gnocchi al pesto, both tasted fantastic. The bread they serve is also amazing, and the desserts are very diverse and you have many great options to pick from. Our server, Luca, was extremely helpful and very hospitable. He checked up on us multiple times, gave us his opinions on the dishes, and was super friendly overall. The other servers were also super friendly, and even joked around with us lol. I recommend this place to everyone!
Wonderful food’s experience; now a days after Covid 19; I understand the cost of ingredients foods have gone up 30% - 40% which I full understand; but this restaurant will serving the portions will remain the same which I am very satisfied the potion of food all across the board! I do not mind the restaurant serve “Full Portions of food” unlike other restaurants! I am very satisfied this restaurant 100% will be back for more! Thank you the owner retain the Sevice for 17 years & more years to come😀😀😀
A big group of us went here for dinner, it’s decorated cute inside. Indoor seating is limited so book a table. Everything we ordered looked and tasted delicious! A couple gluten free options, but the only dairy free option would be a salad. I ordered a spinach strawberry salad with chicken and it was a decent portion. I’d go back for date night and try the fish with no beurre blanc.
Best food so delicious. The servers are very knowledgeable and we were recommended a bottle of wine that was really good quality and reasonably priced. The courtesy bread and flavored butter are delicious as is the brushetta. Plenty of vegetarian options.

Delicious European food and great cozy atmosphere. Waiters are exceptionally trained and kind; we were pleasantly surprised. It’s a great place for a late-night date or a relaxing family dinner. We moved to the US just a few years ago, and we were missing such a service so much. Thank you for giving us that feeling, like we are back home, even if it’s just for an hour. Our family will definitely come again. ❤️
We went for brunch and ordered seafood salad, burger, and seafood pasta. Very tasty. Service was great as well. Great view from the restaurant
The service was very slow, the waitress forgot to put in one of our orders so we waited about 25 minutes for our lunch. Though the bread was fantastic, which helped with the delay, then she forgot our wines....hmmm. We would go back to give it another try for dinner because once food was delivered it was well prepared, hot and delicious.
I am favor of relatively less oily and less sodium and sugar food ( not blend, just normal sweet and salty). And this restaurant offered oily meals (maybe not all of them were oily). You can literally taste the oil, which makes you couldn’t eat more. There are always many tips to lower the oily texture without lower the volume of oil, but they didn’t adopt any properly. Besides, some staffers served great and nice, but the girl standing on the front desk, appeared rather unhappy and didn’t offer any information (even though you are standing in front of her, you still have to check your google to find essential reservation information).
We came here for our wedding anniversary dinner and had a lovely time. Our server/bartender made us some special cocktails which we appreciated. The food was good especially crab cakes and gnocchi sauce. Staff were friendly and attentive. We sat in the patio where they had heaters and it was very comfortable.
On my vacation we decided to try Bella Saratoga. We loved it so much we will go back. Here’s what I ordered, the Pasta Primavera. This is one of my favorite dishes and am always curious to see how each restaurant prepares it. It’s a delicious dish. It leaves a remarkable taste that is not over powering with spices, it’s slightly spicy but not at a point where you step back. It makes you lean into your dish for more. Would I order it again? Of course! The service I highly enjoyed. The waiter I found to be so polite and accommodating. He carried himself well and spoke softly and articulated well which made me listen so much more clearly and calmly. He was a wonderful young man. Thank you sir and thank you Bella for making our evening so special and memorable. We’ll be back.
Stopped in here with a party of 6 for dinner on a Thursday night at around 7pmish and got seated immediately. Ben was our server and he was fantastic. Gave us great and honest recommendations and terrific service. He also made our cocktails and they were delicious- highly recommend the espresso martini!!!! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food which was served fairly quickly after ordering. We started with apps: calamari, burrata and beef carpaccio. Our entrees were: braised short ribs, lasagna, chicken piccata, bolognese, veal piccata and an apple walnut salad. We sat outdoors and the weather was cool and perfect. Definitely recommend !
This is a really nice Italian restaurant in an old Victorian home. We've eaten here several times over the years. The food is very good! They have an outdoor dining area, and I believe that they still have live music during weekend brunch and weekend evenings. I usually have Italian entrées but this time for lunch we had the Bella burger which was really big and tasty with fries that were very good. I was really full after lunch. Also posted a few pics of more food that we've eaten. Another visit: Sat at the bar yesterday, and Wendy and Ben, the bartenders were really nice and made really good drinks! Started with a Negroni and then some wine. To eat, we started with the crab cakes, then for entrees, Eggplant Parmesan and Linguine Bolognese. For dessert we shared the Pecan Turtle pie. Everything was delicious! With dessert, also had an Expresso martini and Expresso. Went on a Sunday, and you get a fresh fruit plate and really good Cinnamon Rolls! This time, we just ordered salads. One Shellfish and one Chicken & Walnut. Got to converse with Clyde the owner for awhile, and he's really nice. Friday evening went for dinner before going to a concert. Started with a Martini and then had some wine. Got Clams and garlic bread for an appetizer. For dinner, we got two specials. The Halibut with Black Truffles and Risotto plus the Lobster Ravioli. Of course everything was really good as usual! Clyde, the owner, even stopped by our table.
A nice casual Italian restaurant that gives a feeling as if you are dining at someone’s living room :), at least the second floor cozy setting feels like that. Salads, sandwiches and coffee were great. The house baked bread tasted delicious. I took off a star as I felt the salads could be richer and have more ingredients, I found them too simple with very few ingredients. Some $18 salads didn’t have even any proteins in it. Otherwise menu looked great. Service was awesome. Servers were very polite and courteous and took good care of us. Interiors as I mentioned felt little rustic with shiny velvet green chairs. Air conditioning was decent with their portable AC with 108 degree outside. Plenty parking nearby with free parking spots in parking lots and street with 1-2 mins walking distance. Overall, a cozy nice restaurant that I definitely would go back to.

The special scallop risotto was actually disappointing, the risotto didn't go with the sauce. However, the regular menu salmon ravioli was actually pretty good. The sauce in the bread pudding was great, with a hint of liquor. I wish they had baked the bread pudding with a crispy outside then it would be a perfect dessert.
Nice brunch spot. They have a lot of outdoor seating so it's a good choice on a warm day. Their food is average - nothing negative but nothing to get overly excited about. I had the blackened salmon benedict - it was unique that they used crossaint instead of English muffins but the salmon was just on the side of the egg and it felt very underwhelming. Given the Saratoga area, per plate price is on the higher end.
Nice ambience with outdoor seating. Great service! Seemed to be old styled cooking. Pasta and breakfast were good. Lasagna not as good. Not sure about the cinnamon bun, rather have regular bread. Prices were on the high end.
This 3 star rating is based on the food, which should be the main consideration for the overall rating. Maybe the chef was out, or having a bad day, but everything we ordered barely made it to an average level of taste and presentation. We had the Caprese (discount store Mozzarella, hot house tomatoes, inadequate seasoning, barely a hint of basil, average quality olive oil) and the Artichoke appetizers (flavorful dip!) . Mains - Pesto Gnocchi (bland, glutinous dumplings, pesto cream sauce with little flavor) was below average.. Salmon was not seasoned, but the veggies were nicely grilled. Eggplant parm was acceptable fare and probably the best dish, which is not saying much. The presentation was a mess. We almost skipped dessert at this point, got a complementary scoop of something which the three of us dessert fans did not finish. Our servers and wait staff were excellent, and the ambience inside seemed great. Even the heated patio was excellent. I am a bit tempted to give it a second chance based on all the glowing reviews on OpenTable, but only a wee, wee bit..

Ordered the garlic gnocchi pesto and found it just average. The flavors were fine but nothing special, and the portion size felt quite small for the price. With a little more quantity and richness in flavor, it could have been a much more satisfying dish.
If you have a choice, go to other restaurants in downtown Saratoga. There was a long wait for our appetizers, which we ordered as soon as we sat down. The order for entrées was taken 25 mins later, and the service was so poor we had to ask for olive oil twice, go downstairs to as for water for the table, and go ask for the chq and when no one picked it up for 10 mins go and deliver it ourselves! The gnocchi was super undercooked (slimey), the tomatoe sauce tasted like it came from the can, and the short rib and beef dishes were only OK. At the prices they charge, heartbreaking. The warm bread is yummy, and the pasta in the dishes was cooked well.
When I told the guide that there were 3 people in my group, he took a chair out of the 4-person table he had guided us to and went away, creating a new table for 2 at the entrance. We had serveral bags so we needed his own chair and I appealed, but he told me that we needed 3 chairs for 3 people. The restaurant was never full until we finished our food and left. I don't plan on giving your service more than a 2star. I inquired more than 3 times about the delayed coffee, but to no avail. The reply is very impressive. _____update_____ It was my first visit in seven years. I almost forgot about it, but I found it nearby to meet visitors. When the party said there were three people, they took a chair out of the table for four. I needed a chair because I had a lot of bags, but to no avail. I went there as soon as it opened, so there were quite a few customers, but it wasn't full. I ordered a cup of iced coffee, a cup of regular coffee, and a cup of copper cappuccino, but only cappuccino was served. After the food started to come out, two cups of coffee arrived with a term. It was a fascinating experience. The food is so so. Maybe it's natural that I completely forgot about this place. It's Memorial Day, so we didn't have many choices. If there was an egg Saratoga, we might have felt different.
