El sitio es muy chulo, con muchísimos elementos típicos de México (la calavera de la puerta me parece increíble y los detalles de las paredes son hermosos). De primero pedimos nachos y patatas petroleras, buenísimos. De segundo pedimos nachos de cochinita, carnitas y pastor, deliciosos y lo de la cochinita no tiene nombre, la mejor que he probado y eso que soy fan de los mexicanos! El postre de limón estaba buenísimo y a la vez era suuuuper suave, perfecto para cerrar la cena. Nos pedimos unas margaritas y también son las mejores que he probado 🥰 y el precio muy bueno para la calidad de la comida. El servicio súper amable y atento! Muchas gracias por tratarnos tan bien y ser tan agradables con nosotros, las recomendaciones que nos dieron fueron excelentes. He oído mucho que es el mejor mexicano de Barcelona y después de probarlo solo puedo decir que lo dicen con razón!!! Volveremos a la que tenga la oportunidad 😋😋😋

Gran variedad de productos mexicanos y la relación calidad precio está muy bien establecida. Los nachos tienen un topping de proteína que los haces muy ricos y entre los mejores que he probado. Por otro lado, los tacos se nota que son de alta calidad y el sabor queda reflejado en ello, sin duda de mis preferidos en barcelona. Lo que más nos gustó fue la atención recibida en el restaurant. Los camareros fueron atentos durante toda la cena recomendándonos platos y resolviendo las dudas. Lo único que no termino de gustarnos fue el postre. Hacen una versión del 3 leches pero estaba seco y tenía muy poco sabor. Considerando lo rico de la comida fue un poco decepción que el postre no estuviese dentro de la línea que llevábamos. En general, en un sitio muy muy bueno con atención excelente y comida muy rica, creo que pueden mejorar el area de los postres pero es un buen sitio para ir.

Restaurante mexicano de excelente calidad. 20€/persona fin de semana. Obligación probar: Nachos Pastor. Cochinita pibill y el tres leches de postre. Me ha resultado un poco caros en cuanto a cantidad los tacos de pollo y verduras (veggi) El resto la calidad fueron superior a lo esperado. Disponen de salsas aparte: poco picante, picante y extra picante (es última muy recomendable). Personal muy correcto y atento.

Me ha encantado éste Mejicano. El personal súper amable, y la comida es auténtica y muy diferente a los Mejicanos al uso. !Los nachos Catrina de pollo son los mejores que he probado! Los burritos increíbles y el mojito Frozen de Guayaba lo recomiendo. Un Must Have Mejicano en Barcelona.

Excelente restaurante con auténtica comida mexicana. Buen servicio y atención. Los precios son algo elevados, pero para darse un ‘capricho’ de vez en cuando, está muy bien.

Fuimos de menú un día entre semana por 15€, incluye: primer plato, segundo, postre y una bebida. Los nachos buenísimos y los tacos pastor también!!! La bebida también nos encantó. La camarera encantadora. Para repetir.

Los mejores Nachos que me he comido en Barcelona! De verdad un sabor increíble, todo súper fresco, el guacamole, el pico de gallo, el queso, la carne todo 10 de 10!! También tienen una cerveza típica de Mexico llamada modelo muy buena! Quedó con ganas de volver a venir y comer muchísimo más!

Despues de haber venido a este restaurante un par de veces, puedo afirmar que posiblemente sea, para mi, uno de los mejores mejicanos de Barcelona. La comida es muy sabrosa y muy buena. El establecimiento es pequeño, pero aun asi hay mucho espacio para no tener que comer apretado. Los camareros son muy atentos y muy amables.

I’m from California so nothing really tops the Mexican food here. I will say, however, this was my absolute favorite spot living in Barca for 2 years, and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing, and the only Mexican food I would eat in the city. It was right next to my flat, so I would frequent it often. Still think about their margaritas once a month, and I go back every time I’m in the city:)

This was probably my favorite place to eat during my trip to Barcelona. Food was delicious and service was great! I cannot remember the name of the dessert we had, but it was lemon with a cookie/cake layer, it was amazing! We live in Germany and have been craving good Mexican food as it doesn't really exist there, and this hit the spot! Recommend the pastor tacos!

This is a local-feeling Mexican where everything is made in-house. The layout is quietly casual and the menu exactly the right length, so a few things can be tried and hopefully specialised. Started off with the best Jamaica I've ever tried, no mean feat considering I went to another Mexican in the city which didn't even have agua frescas on the menu! Food-wise, everything was good, but the prawn tacos with bacon and onion were exceptional! Juicy prawns and perfectly balanced cheese to sauce ratio, absolutely stunning! Within the top 3 of things I ate all trip! The beef quesadilla, chicken..... And pork tacos baked in sugar were all very good but outshone by the aforementioned prawn taco that was so amazing!! Service is friendly and food served in stages which was good because the tables aren't huge and they offer some salsas on the table when you sit down. Overall, this was a very enjoyable meal and I would love to return in the future.

Came here with a large group and the service was quick. They had tasty guava margaritas to drink. Their nacho appetizer was excellent with good guacamole and pico de gallo. I had tacos al pastor that were also delicious.

Great Mexican restaurant with the friendliest owners. They have made their menu truly unique with flavors and dishes you won't find in other Mexican places in Barcelona. The staff was very friendly and they were very friendly for our dogs as well. Highly recommended, even if you don't like coriander, they will remove it from your dish.

Definitely enjoyed our meal and time spent here at La Catrina. Micheladas are different, spicy but delicious! Tried a variety of plates here, must say my favorite was the Costras mixed, and the cochinita pibil. Staff was very friendly and decore is beautiful,not your typical Espanol, definitely more Mexican and great flavors. I recommend.

Delicious Mexican food! The waitress was very patient with our limited Spanish and guided us thru the menu. We had the beef nachos and tacos and was just right amount for two people! We ended up paying roughly €30, 3 drinks included.

Service was amazing. There were two servers and they were both very attentive and working hard. We were in Barcelona during an unusually hot period and there was no air conditioning inside the restaurant which made it extremely hot. The guacamole was authentic and the food was delicious.

I'm an American who speaks some Spanish, dining alone and a picky eater. I was able to get a table very quickly. The server brought me a menu that I reviewed very quickly. I used my rusty Spanish to order. He even confirmed my order back to me. When it arrived it didnt have the sour cream but that's okay. The food was okay. The chicken on the tostadas could've used a little seasoning, but overall meal was satisfying. Frozen margarita was a bit small compared to other locations in Barcelona. Ordered dessert and that was pleasing as well. Was never offered any type of sauce for the tostadas so they were difficult to eat with the dryness and no sour cream. Server was very nice. Meal was moderately priced.

We started with the nachos and it was a disappointment way to small portion for a 11€ dish. We had the shrimp taco it was good. The El pastor lacked flavor and heat. we found the carnitas to be the best.

Era la primera vez que íbamos. La decoración es bonita pero hay detalles como la carta que al ser de papel, estaba manchada de comida. Para hacer las fotos le pedí a mi chico que me dejara la suya que estaba más limpia que la mía. Habíamos reservado mesa y nada más llegar nos sentemos, no tuvimos que esperar. La espera fue cuando una vez en la mesa tardaron media hora en tomarnos nota. Tardaron más de media hora en traernos los platos y tampoco nos habían traído la bebida todavía. Si no recuerdo mal llegaron antes los nachos que las bebidas. Lo único bueno fue la comida, estaba muy bueno. Pedimos nachos la Catrina, costras de pollo, pastel tres leches y para beber una chelada y una michelato. Es lo único bueno a destacar. Aunque los camareros fueron amables, estaban muy desorganizados.

Very disappointed about this place. Definitely not typical Mexican food, it was the worst place we ate at here so far and also not super cheap. Even the drinks came from some machine and were not freshly made. We ordered a frozen margarita and it looked brown and tasted like apple saus. Only good thing is that the service is friendly.
