Osteria del Monsignore is a restaurant located in the center of Sarzana. I had the opportunity to have lunch there with a group of friends just before Christmas. The restaurant isn't very large, but inside you'll find a cozy atmosphere. The menu focuses on traditional Lunigiana dishes—nothing elaborate, but certainly appetizing. The quality is very good, as is the courteous and prompt service. There's a wide selection of wines. The price is average.

In a typical Sarzana street, a welcoming place with brick vaults, you're greeted by a lady with a foreign accent, quick and efficient. The bread basket was very good, with three varieties, as well as focaccia. For wine, a half bottle of Chianti. The round steak as an appetizer was excellent, as were the grilled fillet and the partially boned pigeon, both accompanied by vegetables and baked potatoes. The meat was excellent and well-cooked.

Great Osteria in Sarzana! We found it after looking at a few other places to have dinner. It’s was the best food we had. The Duck with Blueberry sauce was to die for. Steak with red wine and shallots was a hit. Panna cotta & Creme Brulee were just divine.

In the heart of the historic center of Sarzana, the restaurant is small but welcoming, in the summer they also place tables on the street. The setting is characteristic and the service impeccable. We tasted several dishes from the menu, in the appetizers a particular note to the cod on a tomato cream, excellent! Among the main courses, both the fillet and the cheek are worth trying... cooked to perfection. The desserts prepared by them ended the evening in style.

Decent restaurant in Sarzana. Plenty of local options and everything tasted fresh and flavored. Reasonable prices. Good wine choices. Recommend you book in advance.

The food deserves Michelin stars, without any exaggeration. After a dinner here, we are considering visiting the town just to eat here. Had the mix antipasti, the ribs and the canneloni, all were crazy good. Special mention to the carpaccio from the antipasti and the ribs, which are guaranteed to go straight to the top of your best meals ever. The owner recommended a very good Chianti to tie a bow around the meal. Thank you x 1000
