Great service and staff!!!!
Delicious food and gentle staff. Intense smell of cheese in the restaurant was the only negative point, but I guess it is unavoidable when you serve such dishes.
When I travelled to the Alps I had one goal and one goal only. To go absolutely bananas on cheese fondue. The mission was more challenging than I thought. La Cioca, the saviour in need, made me achieve this in an exceptional way. Everything with this place was 10/10 and I would recommend this to anyone…

Absolute heaven of cheese and meat! We had the best raclette ever with venison and veggies and then we had a pierrade! Even the appetizers were so so good and great ambience as well.

A truly excellent meal (Raclette with a great bottle of Grignolino) in convivial surroundings. I may have been rather "in my cups" after a whole bottle of 13° ABV wine. But I was happy enough and upright enough to regain the apartment without mishap.
They didn't realise who I was or how well I can converse in Italian, at first, but the owner/operator's eyebrows went up in surprise and appreciation when I ordered a bottle of Grignolino straight away, after deciding on the hot rock grill. Everything was excellent and the wine complementary (best with lamb or white meats) to the dishes. I was very hungry at the start, but pleasantly full and very satisfied at the end. The owner introduced me to Liquore Genepy (a mountain flower, not to be confused with Ginevra) as an alternative to my usual Brandy (Vecchia Romagna usually, when in Italy). Very interesting bouquet and flavour, on the house too, at the end.
It was the best Raclette I have ever eaten in my life. A must during your stay.

Highly recommend, few items on the menu, all of them super typical and super good. Also the wine was great and the waiters were very nice and accommodating. It is a relatively small place so it is better to reserve a table in advance. The food was so exciting that we forgot to take pics!!
