From beginning to end, our stay at the chalet was simply wonderful. The warm hospitality of the entire family is exceptional – you immediately feel welcome and perfectly at ease. The service is impeccable and leaves nothing to be desired. The view is simply magnificent, and every window offers a picture-perfect panorama. Both breakfast and dinner are marvelous: lovingly prepared, varied, and of outstanding quality. I would also like to emphasize how the hostess attends to special requests with the utmost care and kindness – true service is in the making! Privacy is excellent, and there is more than enough parking available, making arrival and the stay particularly convenient. Overall, it's a place where you can completely unwind and feel utterly pampered. High praise indeed – this chalet is a true gem. We will definitely be back!
Very nice rooms. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, it was the off-season and the restaurant was closed (we knew this when booking and were informed in advance).
We had a wonderfully beautiful weekend here at Chalet Sky. Everything was absolutely perfect: the chalet itself, so tastefully designed with such attention to detail; the breathtaking view; the luxury of a private sauna and a private whirlpool, which was always wonderfully warm despite the near-freezing temperatures; the fantastic breakfast; and so much more. We were only here for two nights, but we left completely refreshed and satisfied, and we're already certain we'll be back.
I'm generally a "wellness hater"... I couldn't imagine ever going through something like a wellness weekend or anything similar again. But then came Hasenegg 😎😎😎😎😎 Just the thing for people who simply want peace and quiet while enjoying absolute luxury. It starts with a warm, friendly welcome... first impression, already perfect! Then you're shown to your room, which isn't a room, but a palace 😎😎😎 The palace has a small kitchen with all the trimmings... a stylishly furnished chill-out area, a very large bathroom with a shower and everything your heart desires, enough space for two. Then several highlights follow one after the other... A top-notch sauna, a whirlpool on the terrace, and a view I've rarely seen. … To top it all off, dinner and breakfast are delivered directly to your room… all top quality and prepared with love… I am grateful to have experienced something like this and to know that it certainly wasn't my last visit to the Hertscheg family. Thank you so much, and I have great respect for what you have created! Courageous, innovative, and absolutely in the spirit of the new. Warm regards from Innsbruck.
Mega
Simply gorgeous, wonderful chalets furnished with attention to detail. Not to mention the incredibly beautiful infinity pool. We feel completely at home here, with fantastic service and a wonderful, extensive, personalized breakfast delivered to the chalet in the morning. A very nice restaurant with a wonderful ambiance and excellent food. The Hertscheg family warmly welcomes guests and is open-minded, very friendly, and helpful. This is our fourth time here, we always enjoy coming back, and we're already looking forward to seeing them again. All in all, a wonderful oasis of well-being, and we say THANK YOU for the fantastically wonderful vacation.
We had a wonderful time! Unfortunately, we were given a different chalet than the one we booked, but the hosts were incredibly keen to find a solution with us, and we'd like to thank them very much for their hospitality! The breakfast was delicious; it was delivered directly to the chalet every morning, and you could choose a different one each morning. We particularly enjoyed the hay milk, homemade jams, salmon, and freshly squeezed juice. You don't need to buy drinking water, as you can use it straight from the tap using the water bottles provided! The whirlpool and sauna were a dream, and we enjoyed using them. If you love horses, you should also visit the stables; the riding instructor is very nice, explains a lot about the horses, and we were able to pet them for a long time. The instructor also had many helpful tips while riding, and the horses are very well trained. The massage we booked was also perfect! The masseuse knows what she's doing, and you felt completely relaxed after the treatment! We wish the team at Mountain Village Hasenegg all the best and we will definitely be back again!
We spent three wonderful days here as a couple. The lodge was very clean, including the sauna and whirlpool, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We were also thrilled with the large bathroom with great lighting and a rain shower. On our first morning, a well-stocked breakfast basket was delivered directly to the lodge, and for the second day, we were able to choose our own breakfast. We can also recommend the dinner. On Wednesday, there was a barbecue with a starter and main course buffet, and on the other days, you can dine à la carte. We will definitely be back next year. If you want to be alone and enjoy some quiet time together, then this is the place for you.
Those who book here book a break, and in the best sense of the word. Even the drive there hints at what awaits, and the first view upon arrival is simply breathtaking. The Mountain Village is somewhat secluded, guaranteeing absolute peace and quiet – just the thing to leave everyday life behind. Our chalet, "Monte," was a dream: stylishly furnished, with a unique view that you'd want to enjoy all day long. The private whirlpool and sauna complete the experience. In the morning, a varied breakfast basket with fresh food is delivered right to your door. Perfect for starting the day off right. The infinity pool on the lower level is another highlight, inviting you to both swim and marvel at the view. In the evening, you absolutely must treat yourself to the roast beef. Tender, perfectly prepared, and a delight for meat lovers. Hiking trails start right outside the door, so you can immerse yourself in nature without a long drive. The drive to Merano takes about 25 minutes, via some narrow, winding roads. It's perfectly manageable, though. You'd have to look hard to find anything negative, and if you did, it would be nitpicking. The only suggestion for improvement: The window next to the bed could be fitted with a mosquito net so you can ventilate at night without letting mosquitoes in. Otherwise, everything was truly perfect and clean. The Hertscheg family and their team were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended! We would love to come back again.
An absolute dream. We were privileged to spend our 30th wedding anniversary at the Sky Chalet. The four days went by far too quickly. The view alone is breathtaking. The entire team, including the Hertscheg family, is very accommodating and makes you feel truly at home. The sauna, the whirlpool, and especially the new outdoor pool are top-notch. How they managed to accommodate everything in such a location is truly impressive. Thank you for the wonderful time...we'll be back. 🥰 Special greetings to Anna.😊
This family-run, stylish, and extremely attractive hotel with its chalets is located in a unique, quiet location, boasting a stunning, unparalleled panorama. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a competent member of staff with a drink, and everything we needed was explained in detail. Our booked chalet was thought out down to the smallest detail and furnished with great care. Bright and welcoming, it featured high-quality furnishings and a panoramic view of the mountains. In short: simply a dream. Breakfast was brought to the chalet every morning and consisted of fresh, high-quality food. The organized barbecue evening also impressed with its high culinary standards. Conclusion of this vacation: We were able to relax very well, would gladly come back anytime, and can and will recommend this hotel with its dream chalets with a clear conscience.
Super
I stayed two nights at a Pinus lodge, and the accommodation was truly beautiful: well-maintained rooms, spectacular views, and a sauna and hot tub on the terrace made the stay special. Breakfast served in the room was also much appreciated, as it was spacious and made with quality products. I'm not giving it 5 stars for two reasons: the lack of a bidet—surprising for a property of this caliber, especially considering the space available in the bathroom—and the lack of attention to Italian guests. In-room information is only in German or, at most, English, and the TV doesn't include national channels. Given the location in Italy, as an Italian guest, I didn't feel fully welcome. I should add that we usually travel to South Tyrol 4–5 times a year, and this is the first time we've encountered a similar situation. With these measures, the experience would be truly perfect.
We were very happy with the chalet; it's beautifully quiet and very cozy. The whirlpool and sauna in the room are also wonderful. Breakfast is delivered to the room and is truly plentiful. My only complaint is that the new pool, which is really lovely, was closed due to the weather, even though it's heated. When it does open, it doesn't open until 10:00 AM, which is too late for us since we like to swim before breakfast. On the positive side, everything is very clean, and the chalet is always spotless and tidy. I recommend opening the pool from 7:00 AM onwards; in our experience, guests appreciate and use this.
We spent a total of 3 nights at the resort (not a hotel). The apartment was very spacious and quite stylishly decorated! This summer, they also added a pool, which is quite nice for a quick break. The resort is located above Schenna (about 4 km along a narrow mountain road)! Now for our personal experience: From the very beginning, we felt a lack of hospitality. Although we met the host family several times, they weren't really interested in a quick chat or something similar, but that's just a side note. When booking the trip, we received a voucher that should have been presented upon arrival when paying the bill. Unfortunately, we forgot to bring it upon departure (our mistake)! That same day, we sent a really friendly message to the accommodation asking if they could find a solution! But then: No response at all! After another really friendly email, then: NOTHING! Again, no response (a total of six weeks have passed). One would certainly have expected at least a short reply. Unfortunately, our first impression was confirmed! We're not used to this kind of experience! Furthermore, the price/performance ratio isn't right, in our opinion!
I'm truly appalled by the management's behavior and can only say that I certainly won't book here again. I booked, received a confirmation, and then planned the rest of my trip with important dates. Everything was fine, then suddenly I received an email saying, "We're sorry, there were problems with the booking system and we unfortunately have to cancel your stay." By email! Call the customer, your guest. Apologize and offer them a solution and help them find alternative accommodation. Your guests might not be familiar with the region?! I get the impression that it's only about today's business, not about the guests themselves, perhaps even for the future. If they don't want guests for two nights, then say so, exclude them from the booking system. And even after I wrote a review, I didn't receive a response from the hotel. No matter what response management gets to my review, don't be fooled; the hotel's core seems to have completely disintegrated. You can actually tell from the other reviews, too. And I don't just mean the one about the ice cream cone :)
Horrible!!! We are sitting here tonight on 10/17/2018, the owners of the the Hassenegg earlier this morning posted a sign stating they will not be serving the dinner that is included with the overnight stay. The dining room is closed because they need a break. These are THEIR words verbatim. In the meantime they, themselves which include an older couple and a woman with a small boy-child are sitting in the dining room having a full dinner. They told their patrons, we can either remain in our rooms or sit outside. No inside hotel sitting. It is cold outside. They are sitting in the public dining room having a full family dinner with wine and candlelights. I have never seen such outrageous conduct in hotel owners in my life. If they are tired and need a break, they should not have booked rooms this week. Never, never will we stay here again. They cannot deliver what they promise on their website. We had the chance to stay somewhere else but were told by them that since this is "high season" they will charge us either way if we don't stay at their hotel. And THIS is what they did to about 20 different families. Please consider staying someplace else if you are visiting Meran. Manipulating the road to this place was treacherous and to try it at night in order to go find something to eat is out of the question. We won't be back and if this review is removed, I will replace it with another review of the same. Cannot believe they pulled this on their patrons. The place is completely full.
