Nuestra primera vez en Segovia y nos recomendaron este sitio para comer. Fuimos en la comida y luego en la noche quisimos repetir para unos vinos. Nos ha encantado. Cabe destacar la amabilidad de cada uno de los trabajadores, todos son muy amables y demasiado atentos. La comida exquisita, para no decir más… Estamos seguros que si tenemos que volver a Segovia este sería el lugar donde volveríamos a comer o cenar.

Un lugar absolutamente recomendable por la calidad de sus productos, el sabor de su comida y su atención, sin lugar a dudas su atención. Nos hicieron hueco a pesar de estar a tope y pudimos disfrutar al máximo. Para volver en cuanto podamos. Muchísimas gracias a todo el equipo!!!!

La verdadera experiencia Segoviana, después de un largo día se nos ocurrió ir a cenar Al sitio, que por suerte abría la cocina a las 8, porque así nos dio tiempo de probar cada una de las tapas que la verdad eran increíbles. La atención es muy buena, las personas que te atienden tienen una experiencia larga en su trabajo y se nota. Comer aquí es toda una experiencia, desde que entras el ambiente es muy acogedor. Por otro lado el cochinillo que es en definitiva su PLATO ESTRELLA nos ha dejado cautivados, un plato que si no pruebas en Segovia, es porque te faltó mucho por recorrer.

Un espectáculo!!! Llegamos tarde y sin reserva, aun asi nos atendieron de 10. La calidad excelente y la atención magnífica. Comimos cochinillo, torreznos y una ensalada de perdiz acompañado todo de un buen vino (recordado por el chico) y para terminar un postre tipico que te dejaba sin palabra, un acierto en todos los sentidos. Al dia siguiente volvimos para almorzar y para comer de nuevo... eso lo dice todo. Volveremos seguro.

No es solo la calidad de su cocina, que es excelente, con platos preparados con mimo y sabor auténtico, sino el cariño con el que siempre nos reciben. Aquí no somos simples clientes: nos hacen sentir como en casa. Cada visita es un reencuentro con amigos que cuidan los detalles y nos atienden con una cercanía que se agradece y que, sin duda, marca la diferencia. En El Sitio hemos celebrado momentos importantes, comidas especiales y también encuentros cotidianos, y siempre hemos salido con una sonrisa. Por todo ello, lo recomendamos con el corazón: un restaurante con alma, donde la gastronomía y el trato humano van de la mano.

We walked in without a reservation but they found us a lovely table in their upstairs restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and we had the suckling pig, wonderful. Would highly recommend. Surrounded by locals, who were all very nice to us, even tho we only had tourist Spanish.

What a find. We were really well looked after by Xavier who had offered to speak English but when I joked that I had been rehearsing my Spanish he spoke only in Spanish and helped me out when I got stuck. When we said we liked to share our main courses he asked the chef to serve us a fish course on two plates and then a meat course on two plates, very civilised. He also advised with the desserts, when we inadvertently ordered two very similar ones he recommended choosing an alternative to provide variety. The food itself was absolutely delicious. We had the seabass in a garlic and tomato sauce, then veal escalope with chips. For dessert we had the segovian speciality, a cake with custard, and a most amazing "fig cake" which was like homemade ice-cream with figs and cream. Everything beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. All the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

El Sitio is the kind of restaurant that has not changed in 60 years. They serve the same great suckling pig. The service is elegant and professional like it was 60 years ago. And because of the high level of quality execution, the price offers great value. We drove to Segovia to eat at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended. I’m amazed by the perfect flavor of the famous cochinillo. The skin separates from the fat, feeling crunchy and tenderness in one bite. The service is wonderful. The waiters are well dressed like gentlemen and offer attentive service. Although I sit by the table for lunch, I love the vibes in the bar area at noon time. Everyone is standing there, chatting and drinking beer. So cool!

Amazing restaurant in town serving up deliciously tasting Spanish dishes behind an awesome staff and historical feeling ambience. With locals and tourists visiting you can tell it’s very good from the start and nothing disappointed. Definitely worth the visit when in town.

3 of us had the roast pork, it was absolutely amazing.. the desserts were fantastic too. Profiteroles and a local marzipan based cake, delicious! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. Would recommend the trip to Segovia just for this restaurant!

A great experience with delicious food and excellent service! Tucked away in a small alley, yet still just steps away from the town center near Plaza Mayor by the cathedral. Benjamin cava and the Segovia cake recommended by the waiter were terrific. The service is exceptional!

Movidos por recomendaciones reservamos para cenar aquí. No nos gustó mucho el ambiente, pero la comida estaba buena. Los calamares mediocres pero las croquetas y el bistec muy buenos, además fueron super amables y nos colocaron el bistec en dos platos ya que era para compartir, las patatas exquisitas. La calidad precio para el lugar está bien. Lo único que pensábamos que solo tenían sala y no es así, también tiene una zona a de tapas, que no puedas tomar si estás en la sala.Nos quedamos con ganas de probar cosas que había en el bar y no en carta. El servicio fue muy amable.

Muy buen ambiente, la comida riquisima y el personal muy amable. Cuando llegamos había muchisima gente esperando para comer, lo cual dice mucho de la calidad del sitio. La única pega es que veo que los precios estaban un poco altos. 4 euros una caña y 16 euros una ensalada como la que nos comimos nos parece un precio bastante excesivo. Por lo demás lugar super recomendado.

Buen bar para tapeo. La copa vino o copa cuesta 3€ con una tapa incluida. La comida está muy buena. No hemos podido probar el restaurante por que va por orden de llegada, no se puede reservar. Pero parece que merece la pena. Mucha gente, buen ambiente, buen servicio y comida rica. Volveremos

I went there a few days ago, and had some tapas for lunch. Had the croquettes with ham and it was just amazing. The best I have ever tasted. I recommend this dish as it is outstandingly good. The service is also great and friendly staff.

I just dropped here to eat anything during siesta time. And it was very good idea. Simple but really good tapas plus very nice staff. It is typical Spanish bar,so if you want to feel the flow,just go there.

Conchillas and judiciones were the foods I wanted to try when in Segovia. That’s what I found at El Sitio. Judiciones at $8 were 5 stars but the conchillas at $28 were 4 stars because they didn’t have any seasoning and some parts were dry. Some servers were attentive and would ask if I was finished with my dish but some were not attentive aka they would dust off their dish cloth in front of my table. The music was American sad pop that’s quite unfitting for the ambiance. It is recommended to find a different restaurant that has better pricing if you are not looking to spend $50 for a meal.

Waiters didn’t see us at first but were more attentive and made up for it once they realized we were new guests. They also gave us broth from the Cochinillo they serve to warm us up, a nice gesture. We ordered: - Croquetas (underwhelming, I’ve had better) - salpicón (very good) - chorizo and potato (my favorite) - tortilla Coffee was very good here as well! I’m sure the non tapas menu is even better.

El Sitio is a traditional restaurant in the heart of Segovia that delivers a delightful local dining experience. The service is highly professional, with the staff being exceptionally kind, polite, and attentive throughout the meal. I ordered the veal steak (fried) with pommes frites as my main course and the Ponche Segoviano Con Base de Natillas for dessert. The veal steak was tender, which is always a plus; however, as part of the basic menu, it could use some refinement to better align with the price-to-performance expectations. The pommes frites were nicely done but nothing out of the ordinary. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. The Ponche Segoviano was sweet and indulgent, with the creamy custard base adding an extra layer of richness to this local specialty. Overall, El Sitio provides an authentic Segovian dining atmosphere with excellent service, but there’s room for improvement in some dishes, especially considering the pricing. The dessert is definitely worth trying for those with a sweet tooth!

I’m happy we found this restaurant and the reviews are correct - good food, great service, and charming place. It’s on a street off the square. We went early (for Spain) and were seated upstairs. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Good recommendations and he even recommended a town to visit next time. The food was quite tasty. I went with the gambas Al ajillo. Good sized portion, bubbling hot, and nice amount of garlic. I like some red pepper added but that’s just me. The waiter recommended the white beans as a local special. They were tender and the tomato based sauce was hearty and perfect on a chilly day. My husband went for the pork. The skin was crispy and meat very tender. Big portion. The highlight for me was the waiter recommended ponche segoviano. So good. I loved the sweet sugar shell and alway enjoy marzipan. Perfect ending for a great lunch.

Fantastic food and incredible service. We especially loved the chef's scrambled eggs and white bean stew. Big portions so come hungry. My only gripe would be that they charge €1 pp for bread but everything else was really good!
