We booked a dinner for 6 and were more than satisfied! Very nice, elegant, and well-kept place. Everyone had their own privacy, no one crowded together. The Christmas decorations also set the mood 😊 The food is exquisite, superb! The portions are generous, so you leave feeling satisfied and full. Value for money is also reasonable. Fish was cooked to perfection, fresh, and, as for the fried food, absolutely not greasy, but delicate. Excellent wine selection, as was the menu: dishes selected and served more than well. Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff who put you at ease: excellent welcome. Congratulations to everyone and thank you for the hospitality and service. Ristorante da Giovanni is located a bit off the main road that climbs into Valsesia, but it's worth following the signs and stopping in the small parking lot right in front of the restaurant. The layout is traditional, with a single, spacious interior and a covered outdoor veranda for the warmer months, but the dishes offered are modern and highly appreciated. The appetizers are delicious and served in moderate quantities, preparing the palate for the main courses that follow. Our group skipped the first courses, choosing—at an excellent recommendation—a pan-fried plate of mussels, shrimp, and clams dipped in a delicious, slightly spicy tomato sauce, with slices of toasted bread ready to be dipped and softened in the sauce. In this case, the portions were decidedly respectable, and the leftovers, due to our limited assimilation, were carefully packaged and delivered to take home. The dessert menu is also excellent, homemade and very tasty. In addition to the excellent wine list, the restaurant offers a house wine, served by the bottle, chilled and slightly sparkling (the white). The bill was absolutely affordable, commensurate with the quality and quantity served, completing a more than satisfying meal in a highly recommended venue.

We arrived Saturday night without a reservation thinking it would be quiet - we were mistaken! The place was fully booked. But the host did managed to squeeze us in before a reservation arrived. The entire staff were very friendly, welcoming and made the whole experience really enjoyable, even with our limited Italian! The interior of the place is warm and classic Italian. The food and desert were bellisimo! Generous portions and cooked to perfection (chef ben fatto!). And the wine was amazing of course. We have reserved again for the future! Lastly, beware of the red 'fatti in casa' liqueur, it will light a fire in your belly! Grazie a tutti a Da Giovanni, a presto!

Ottimo ristorante e servizio cordiale ed attento. Buona presentazione dei piatti e ottima esecuzione. Solo un appunto sulle linguine ai ricci di mare, dove la pasta era leggermente scotta per i nostri gusti, forse avremmo dovuto specificarlo prima di volerla al dente e poi era troppo abbondante, nel senso che avrebbe guadagnato di gusto se il condimento fosse stato su una quantità inferiore di pasta. Per il resto tutto ottimo e prezzo nella media: 2 antipasti, 2 primi, 1 secondo + bottiglia di vino rosso da 26 euro, Totale 97 Euro con caffe e grappa offerti. Ottima la cordialità ed il servizio attento della ragazza Siciliana! Comunque da ritornarci!

It was a very pleasant experience, both for the company of the Sre Grignasco Volunteers and for the restaurant. Sometimes you get to appreciate the importance of people while enjoying a great dinner. The food was excellent, the staff was fast and friendly, as was the restaurant manager. 👏👏

A restaurant on the Serravalle Sesia plains, with a discreetly refined and welcoming atmosphere. Dishes range from traditional to interesting reinterpretations. The fish is excellent, and the wine list is equally impressive. Recommended.

Excellent quality food. A grilled octopus with potatoes, two pappardelle with wild boar ragù, a mixed fried fish, three homemade desserts, a coffee, two bottles of water and a half-liter of wine for €75. A truly excellent place. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

Excellent, high-quality food. Kudos to the quality of the ingredients and the service, which was overall acceptable (there was a blatant tendency to not change cutlery). Recommended for families and small celebrations if you don't want to spend a lot and still eat well and Piedmontese food. TL

Posto per tavolate di amici e parenti. Paella, pentolaccia con cozzee gamberi vongole. Per lo più primi di pesce. Bravi Crostacei normali...non aspettarsi certo gambero rosso! Comunque bravi, folcl…

pausa pranzo dopo avere prenotato e chiesto se faceva il menu fisso mi dicono di sì....ma 1 volta arrivato io e 1 mio amico mi viene DETTO CHE IL MENU A TARIFF fissa viene applicato solo ai loro clienti LAVIRATORI .....MAI SENTITO 1 COSA DEL GENERE
