Il Gabbiano has become a regular stop for me every time I'm in Sesto Calende! I can't get enough of their mushroom pizza, which is always simply perfect. The dough is light and crispy, while the mushrooms are fresh and plentiful, with a flavor that makes every bite unforgettable. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming—just how I like it. If you're looking for a pizzeria where quality and passion for pizza truly shine, I can't recommend Il Gabbiano enough. A well-deserved five stars!

A very nice place with a modern style. Service is really quick, and the staff is kind and unobtrusive. I must say the air conditioning isn't bothersome at all. The pizza is very good, and the dough is light. The ingredients seem excellent, and you can taste all the flavors in the pizza. I must say the tiramisu wasn't the best, being a little dry. I think even though it was homemade, it was probably from the day before, but it wasn't part of the desserts of the day, so it's probably homemade. Overall, I'd gladly return, especially since it's conveniently located near the lakeside promenade.

I tried this restaurant for the first time on Sunday. I was undecided whether to have pizza or the fixed holiday menu, but in the end I chose the menu. The paccheri Mare e Monti were very tasty; you could taste the sea, but above all, the "forest" flavor, with the mushrooms dominating the dish. For my second course, I chose the sliced ​​beef with parmesan cheese and arugula cooked well; it was so tender I barely needed to cut it with a knife. I was very satisfied with the final bill. The prices remained fair compared to other nearby restaurants in the same area.

La Vera

Nice, quiet restaurant on a busy street. Clean, tidy, with very modern, minimalist decor. Good food, fresh fish, light and crispy mixed fried fish, and delicious spaghetti with clams, except for a few clams with sand (but that can happen). Fast service and reasonable prices. The pizza, which we'd already tried for takeout, was excellent, with a digestible dough. Kudos to the overall cleanliness, especially the bathrooms. Convenient free parking outside.

We just went there today, which is Sunday. We were actually going to Sushi Zero, but since we can't stand the lines, we decided to try this restaurant, which is right to the right. We had linguine with clams and gnocchi with gorgonzola, both excellent and tasty, although we would have preferred fresh gnocchi instead of the gnocchettini. The fried fish was golden and light. The homemade tiramisu was also good. The staff and chef were kind and friendly. The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene impacted the final bill. We were satisfied.

We were looking for a place to have dinner near the highway entrance and called Il Gabbiano. Modern and fun decor, perfect restrooms (you know I'm obsessed). The perch risotto was very good and beautifully presented, as were the pizzas. The chocolate cake had a meltdown while plating, but I forgive them because the flavor was wonderful. Courteous staff. Fairly priced. Constructive criticism: we drove past three times without seeing the place. The building is anonymous, and the nearby Japanese restaurant draws attention. Something needs to be done to make the sign more noticeable. I'd focus on color. We'll be back 😋😋😋

NEGATIVA al massimo per mancata accoglienza. Siamo entrati 30 minuti fa 2 adulte e 3 bimbi di 5 e 8 anni mega affamati e ci è stata" rifiutata" la possibilità di fermarci perché avevano da gestire 1 tavolo di 30 persone circa e non c'è stata offerta una possibilità di pranzare. Noi abbiamo ovviamente trovato una soluzione alternativa per "sfamare" i cuccioli, Noi mamme ci riusciamo sempre! Sconsigliatissimo Rist pizzeria Il Gabbiano, consigliatissimo All you can eat che con tutto completo ci ha trovato un'ottima soluzione!!! Poi....non stupiamoci!!!!

Indescrivibile e ingiustificabile . Pranzo nel weekend in due. Decidiamo di fermarci a mangiare per provare questo posto. Al momento dell ordine chiediamo pasta ai frutti di mare( i frutti navigavano nell' olio e prezzemolo ) e pasta al salmone( arrivata con panna(non specificata nel menu e salmone affumicato non di ottima qualità al sapore)inoltre chiediamo cortesemente essendo incinta indicazioni sul pesce e la sua cottura... Mi viene detto che il pesce è fresco e che verrà cotto di più vista la richiesta. Arrivato un salmone surgelato e affumicato affogato nella panna... Ora io mi chiedo perché non chiedere in cucina informazioni ed essere trasparenti con i clienti mantenendo la descrizione del piatto nel menu e rispettando la richiesta... Da rivedere gestione dei clienti e della cucina . Sconsiglio vivamente !!

Terrible food quality. I went there for dinner with my cousins. The pizza was super salty. We ordered two steaks with vegetables and potatoes. The vegetables and potatoes were very sour. We told them so, and they took it off our bill. Despite this, we went to the cashier to pay. We pointed it out to the owner, and he looked at us with an unworthy face, as if it were our fault. He almost wanted to make us feel guilty. My cousin was shocked, poor thing! Disappointing.

We went last night for dinner. The food was average, with affordable prices. Unfortunately, the service and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired... the waiters don't even know the ingredients in the food, which is a huge flaw for a pregnant woman. The bathroom has no diaper changing mat or changing table (besides being dirty and smelly), so I had to change the baby in the car. But the most shocking thing was finding an ANT in the dessert and hearing the response, "Well, it can happen!" Actually, no, IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN. Unfortunately, the person who experienced it even refused to take a photo out of politeness. In short, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, especially if you're with children in diapers or pregnant women. The staff also needs to be reconsidered.
