Stopped by on a whim after already having had lunch because it looked good, and so glad I did! The pizza was crispy, thin, and so freaking delicious. Absolute 10/10, and the cheesecake place next door is the perfect dessert. Will be coming back!

Ran in to this small spot one late night in NY and I’m very happy I did. Pizza by the slice and the options available were more then your typical pizza slice spot. Every slice I tried was amazing !

While visiting NY, I stopped in on a whim late at night tonight and didn't regret it. The pizza was crispy and flavorful, I especially loved the pepperoni. The employees were friendly and service was fast. The pieces are huge and the value is worth it. For 3 drinks and 2 slices of pizza, our total came out to $19 and some change. I think thats a pretty decent deal especially considering the area.

The pizzas are really delicious and nice and crispy! Especially the Margherita Pesto is a real highlight in terms of flavor. A small suggestion for improvement: Please use oregano instead of parsley, as it fits better with the classic pizza taste.

Updated Review: 10/03/25 Decided to give Champion Pizza SoHo another chance but instead of ordering delivery. I went to the actual location. My experience for take out at the SoHo location was like night & day compared to getting delivery. The vibes were super upbeat, friendly!!! Special thanks to Faiza, who is an absolute gem! The pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious! Service was super amazing, and the location is quaint, cute, and absolutely perfect! Champion Pizza SoHo Dine Inn, or Take Out is the way to go. Now I understand after personally visiting the location it’s not the restaurant, it’s the delivery service that ruins orders, not the location. Definitely will be back to ordering from Champion! DELIVERY FROM CHAMPION PIZZA SOHO LOCATION IS AWFUL After the Manager leaves for the evening it’s a roll of the dice if you get your pizza delivered correctly! Given this place numerous times to fix the issue, and they continue to use delivery people that do not comprehend English, in addition to delivery services that the people do not care if your pizza is ruined. If you see them on SLICE APP find somewhere else!

Yummy, cute place. Had no issue ordering or finding a seat on a Saturday around 5pm. The plain slice and vodka sauce/pesto/marinara slice were delicious!

I found this joint on a whim while sitting in a park. The open restaurant atmosphere and cool vibe is what drew me to it. Turns out they've got a GREAT slice, fun staff too. 11/10, would highly recommend. They also have a fun game for customers. If you win, you get a free slice of pizza. It was nice for some friendly competition and conversation and created some fun moments while I was there.

This is the place to run in, grab a slice and either sit and enjoy it, or keep going. Just be aware the slices are big. And the pepperoni slice my daughter had was loaded down with pepperoni. Menu offerings range from the typical pizza to more creative offerings. Atmosphere was safe and the service was very good. Definitely recommend Champion Pizza if you're looking for a good, classic New York spot.

We had such a great time at Champion Pizza! Their square slices are amazing—truffle mushroom, mac and cheese, buffalo chicken, pepperoni—everything was full of flavor and so good. And honestly, the story of Hakkı Akdeniz really stayed with us. From being homeless to building 16 locations across the U.S.—it’s the kind of story that gives you hope.

We stopped by Champion Pizza while exploring Chinatown and Little Italy on a slightly rainy, breezy evening. Found this place while searching online for the best pizza slices in the area — and it definitely lived up to the hype! We tried the Margherita, Truffle Mushroom, Cheese, and Veggie slices. Each slice was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The crust was thin and crispy, just how we like it. The Truffle Mushroom was especially delicious and unique. Even the classic Cheese slice was super satisfying. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and though the space is small, it had a nice local feel. We found a cozy spot to sit and enjoy our slices. If you’re in the area and craving pizza, definitely give this place a try. Highly recommended!

As part of my journey to find the best Ninja Turtles-style New York pizza, I stopped at Champion® Pizza. The place is filled with photos of celebrities and famous faces, which is fun to see, but honestly the pizza itself didn’t fully match the hype. The Sicilian Margherita slice was excellent – crispy base with a good balance of cheese and sauce. On the other hand, the regular cheese slice felt a bit heavier in the dough and not as sharp in flavor as I expected from a true New York slice. Overall, it’s a nice spot and worth checking out, but for my personal ranking it sits at second place in the challenge.

Great atmosphere and quick service! The food is good for a quick slice of pizza. The sauce is slightly sweet and tangy, which is well complemented by the spicy and savory cupped pepperonis. This place is slightly expensive with a pepperoni slice being 5 dollars, but the nice atmosphere and friendly staff more than make up for the price.

All the pizzas are in squares with many varied toppings. I ordered the Margherita which cost $5. The crust was thin but the sauce was but seasoned properly which made it bland. I felt disappointed. Champion Pizza has been around for ten years on Cleveland Place. This was my first visit and doubt if I will return.
