Restaurante típico con azulejos , tapas muy ricas y grandes, servicio muy bueno,camareros simpáticos. Mi tapa preferida ha sido la berenjena frita con salmorejo.

Servicio rapido y atención increíble, los camareros muy agradable. La comida estaba relativamente para el precio que tiene, la relación calidad precio es aceptable y tampoco puedes pedir más. El sitio ideal para comer barato. Pedimos el guiso del dia (papas con choco), punta de solomillo con salsa de Oporto, berenjenas con salmorejo, los buñuelos de queso y espárragos y croquetas de setas.

Me habían recomendado este lugar, y decidí probarlo, me pareció súper adecuado pedir varias tapas, así que probé un pulpo aliñado, unas berenjenas fritas, y un queso acompañado a mermelada muy bueno. Diría que el precio de la sangría está un poco elevado, pero el resto todo OK. El vino de naranja muy bueno.

Llegamos casi a las 4 de tarde, comimos fuera. Todo muy rico. Soy fan del salmorejo y me supo a gloria, súper bueno!!! La sepia riquísima muy bien hecha, las croquetas bien sin más. El personal amable y eficaz😃El restaurante por dentro con muchísimo encanto muy bonito y pintoresco😍. El baño mixto👎🏻

No. This is not your run-of-the mill restaurant. But, if you want to explore the way Sevillian people have tapas, this is one of the best spots. Their tapa of the day (tapa del día) will always be fantastic. Don't leave without trying they croquetas, their pan de la casa con jamon y huevos de codorniz, or, their solomillo al whiskey.

What a great find. Food excellent, wine menu limited but the bottle of white (€19) we had was superb. We had 2 fish dishes, the Hake and the Cod croquettes but saw others come in and order the meat dishes, which looked superb as well. Everyone’s plates went back empty, which is a very good sign. Service was quick. If you’re in Seville give this place a go.

We came looking for a typical local place. The reason quite simple - thé day before we saw it full, great ambiance and we had to come to taste and check. Super friendly, highly professional service. Thé food is delicious. Attention, even half portions are big :) Highly recommended.

Excellent place for tapas. We really enjoyed relaxing in the shade during lunch and enjoying the tapas with a cold beer. Food quality was great. Meat and potatoes and the quail eggs dish were delicious but the real highlight was all the aubergine dishes. They were all very tasty especially the stuffed aubergines. Service was great as well, staff was very friendly. Thank you!

Los Coloniales is a lively restaurant/bar with inside and outside seating. It was a godsend to us weary travellers after a day of sightseeing 😂 Hubby had the scrambled eggs with red sausage (he loved it❤️) I had the patatas bravas (with the sauce on the side cause while it was gorgeous 😍 I am not great with spicy tho a dip now an then is ok😂) and I also had the Assorted Pates (Roquefort, Duck & Pepper pates with a selection of preserves eg Blackberry jam and Orange Marmalade yummy 😋) served with tiny toasts. Like it was heaven on your tongue 😛. We had the above with a bottle of Finca el Empecinado Ribera del Duero, yum, yum, yummy 😋. To say we were more than satisfied after our tourism day would be an understatement.

Very classy beautiful place. The atmosphere was cozy and staff very friendly. We came for lunch, tapas, and didn’t leave disappointed. We got a table inside, since all tables outside were already occupied. Not short after we came, it got bit busy and crowded even in. Food was great and we didn’t have to wait long. We enjoyed our tapas with some beer and tinto. I can definitely recommend this place!

Definitely one of the best tapas spots in the city. We visited twice and weren’t disappointed in the slightest. The service is so warm and they made an effort to speak with us despite the language barrier. Locals and tourists come alike. The menu in English is a welcoming gesture. Service is totally wow and they never ceases to impress us. Vegetarian friendly, we could choose many tapas to go with our choice of organic wine. Prices are nominal and I can’t fault much since the food is freshly prepared. Total delight in the city and recommend a visit.

Fuimos después de más de 10 años sin ir y es verdad que ya no es lo mismo pero no está mal para estar en el centro y en comparación con lo que hay por la zona de precio está bien y rico.

I had 3 Tapas, the first was the prawn salad, which was served like a portion of ice cream, very tasty. I then asked for a pork dish and potatoe bravas. The pork was luke warm and the bravas was almost cold. I pointed out about the bravas and the barman apologized and highlighted the fact to the waiter and I got a fresh, crispy replacement, which was nicely cooked and tasty. I didn't mention the pork, as it tasted fine and I was hungry. It was good that when there was an issue, they resolved it straight away. The beer was lovely.

Mítico bar trampa para turistas. La atención ha sido bastante correcta y rápida, aunque estaría bien que se hiciera una atención más personalizada ya que ni si quiera se paran a preparar correctamente los cubiertos ni preparar las mesas, tampoco te ponen servilletas. En mi opinión, por lo que se ofrecía el precio era bastante elevado, sobre todo, postres y te cobran el pan (por llamarlo de alguna manera). Es necesario ir con tiempo sino es muy difícil que te atiendan.

El servicio es rápido pero la comida es sosa, el pulpo parece caucho y es escaso, definitivamente no lo recomiendo. El baño estaba súper sucio.

Too expensive and taste is so-so. 3/4 euros for a tapas, sounds reasonable until you see the portions. 3 small spinach croq per plate. 2 balls of pavia de merluza. Served with some veggies, which is stale. Could be better with sauce but you'll have to pay 1.5 eurs for it. They charge automatically for the bread and snack they give you in the beginning. Service is pretty good as the waiters were friendly. Order totals to : 34.6 eur for two. Personally I wouldn't come back and I would advice to avoid this. Maybe it was good then, but clearly not as much anymore

Cute family owned restaurant. We had tapas here on our first night at Seville, waited around 15 minutes for a table. Highlight for us was the marinated octopus. The other dishes we ordered were the tenderloin pork with wine sauce, quail egg and ham, and almond chicken delicacy stuffed with bacon. Food was mediocre - not a fan of the potatoes - they were lukewarm and bland.

Respecto a la comida, había cosas más mediocres y otras estaban buenas, pero fueron tan antipáticos, que la comida pasó a un segundo plano. Quedamos para cenar a las 22, y a las 23 empezaron a soltarnos comentarios de en 10 minutos cerramos, id terminando las cosas,... Y el tercero fue que vinieron a la mesa a decirnos que pagáramos en barra y que nos acabáramos la bebida en la calle. Cuando salimos eran las 23:25h... De vergüenza. Si no vas a dejarme terminar la bebida, no me la sirvas, y avísame que vas a cerrar.

La atención del "encargado" deja mucho que desear. Pedimos una racional de jamón ibérico con la cual no estaba muy de acuerdo,se lo digo a la camarera que si eso era una ración de jamón ibérico,se lleva el plato y vuelve el "encargado" y en vez de preguntar,va y lanza el plato diciendo una de jamón ". Yo no protesto por la cantidad,que me parece irrisoria,lo digo porque me está metiendo un jamon/paleta vete a saber de donde y de que pero pa cojones los suyos. Mal vas,que sigas teniendo suerte de que el turismo no falte en Sevilla. Un abrazo campeón!

We tried this place after a recommendation from a local taxi driver, despite noticing the low Google reviews. Unfortunately, our experience confirmed many of those concerns. When we arrived, the waiter who greeted us seemed irritated from the very start, as if we had done something wrong/owed him smth. We waited about five minutes for a table, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. As he cleaned the table, he splashed dirty water and table leftovers on us, and when we politely asked him to be more careful, he just shrugged and said, “What can I do?”—which was quite disappointing. In hindsight, we should have left then. Later, when we asked for menu recommendations, his attitude became a bit calmer. Some of the food was decent, but when our main dishes arrived, the meat was served with cold potatoes. When we asked if that the potatoes were supposed to be cold he said no but didn’t apologize or seem to care. When we requested extra plates, he responded rudely and brought them out dirty. We also asked for drinks multiple times and after waiting for 10 minutes, when we voiced that, again one of the waiters shrugged his shoulders and said that we didn’t order at him. As if the restaurant doesn’t operate as a team and take accountability together. Overall, the service was unprofessional and made the whole experience unpleasant. It’s disappointing to see such behavior in the hospitality industry. I’m sharing this review not out of spite, but to help others avoid the same experience and to hopefully encourage the staff to treat all costumers ( we were tourists) with more respect and appreciation. After all, it’s the guests who keep the restaurant open.

The food quality was extremely disappointing, especially judging from the rating it gets on Google. We ordered solomillo in whiskey sauce, which I googled before ordering, it means beef tenderloin. However, it arrived as a pork, which the staff emphasized it's beef (see the pictures). The "tenderloin" was not hot at all, it was merely in room temperature. It was chewy and the sauce did not go well with it. We also ordered churrasco, which was much better than the solomillo but still so-so. Eggplant in salmonejo was served in room temperature only, flavour was ok. This restaurant definitely does not deserve the rating it gets.

Very poor experience in this place, can’t figure out why it got so high rating on Google!!! Sticky floor, utensils with stains, windows with lots of dusts Ordered 3 dishes, the pork was old and dry, and no seasoning at all. Didn’t worth with its prices! Will never trust Google reviews!!!

Had high hopes for this place based on reviews. Can't remember the last time I had such a bad meal. Queued outside. It was a while before we realised we needed to put our names on a list on the blackboard. And we didn't realise until after our 30 minute wait it was for outside seating only. We didn't want to join another queue again so we took the table when it finally became free. We were disappointed there weren't any prawns/ gambas on the menu. We ordered cuttlefish, patatas bravas, battered hake and a beef dish. We asked the waiter if it was big as it was a £22€ dish and whether it was too much for two. He said no. We were given some bread in a basket, individually wrapped. It was completely brittle. Inedible. We ordered some quails egg on crostini first. That was tasty. One each on the small sized tapas. But luke warm. The patatas bravas tapas dish came second. Virtually cold. Then the cuttlefish which was hot and delicious. The battered hake was warm. But the batter was dreadful. It was so thick, soggy, and after trying a few pieces we contemplated sending it back. We tried to pick bits of hake out but it was all stuck to the batter. Then the beef came. It was on a big oval plate on a huge bed on potatoes and we couldn't understand why the waiter hasn't explained this when we asked about the size of the dish. We tried the beef and it was appalling. We couldn't chew it it was so grizzly. It had a revolting sour taste. It had obviously been cooked in some sort of vinegary sauce. We tried to eat some more but aside the awful taste it was so chewy we had to spit it out. I ended up throwing most of it to a dog wandering nearby. We were so disappointed in the experience (though the verdejo was good) and went home hoping for better at our next restaurant meal the following day.
