Fuimos a probar sus cervezas artesales, en especial las Ipas, a pesar de ser conocedores de marcas de Ipas, estabamos un poco perdido, pero la camarera "vane" muy amablemente, nos dejó probar en forma de chupito varias de las Ipas para ver cuál nos agradaba más. Sin dudarlo todo un acierto en cervezas artesanales. Nos quedamos con ganas de probar su comida por eso le hizo foto a la carta, para volver sin dudarlo, bien sea por volver a beber cerveza o probar su comida, ya que tenía muy buena pinta. Todo un descubrimiento.

El Merchant es un el auténtico pub irlandés en medio de Sevilla con mucho estilo. Situado en plena calle canaletas y frente el hotel colón famoso en esta avenida, encontramos esquinado este pub irlandés de toda la vida donde poder disfrutar de las deliciosas cervezas artesanales cuya variedad es muy extensa así como de hamburguesas y nachos. Mobiliario super logrado, madrea por doquier y muchos estilo donde poder relajarse y ver la liga y deportes. Personal super atento, amable, simpático y educado. Nos encanta el merchant!!!!

Buen sitio para tomar cervezas, comer algo e incluso ver el fútbol. Tienen gran variedad de cervezas y el día que yo fui tenían 5/6 tapas. De la carta recomiendo los nachos que están muy ricos y viene bastante cantidad. Aunque todo lo que probamos estaba genial. Recomendable.

I spent a very fun afternoon in this pub this summer. Great atmosphere and great food. It was the Sunday of the British Grand Prix this past summer (2025). My wife and I had just arrived in Seville that morning and wanted to watch the race. We met these three fantastic blokes from England who were on a boy's holiday weekend just relaxing. They were kind enough to let us sit with them. They were the best dudes, and we hit it off and had a blast. My wife and I looked down and realized we were late for a tapas tour. We had to run out and I never got any of their contact information. I hate it, and to this day rue not knowing how to get a hold of them. If they see this, and remember, they can look up the Oklahoma City lawyer with my initials and reach out! Cheers.

Top class service from the minute we walked in. The host, a fellow Irish man couldn’t do anymore to welcome us or anyone else that came in. The food was top class and way above any typical “Irish bar” abroad. Pint bottles of cider too

Fantastic pub to watch Premier League football! There are plenty of screens and seating. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. We didn’t have any food but plenty of other people did and from what we saw it looked VERY good. I also heard a few people saying it was the best Guinness outside of Dublin!

Great palce to watch sports! Went for an NFL Sunday and there was an error in their system where I noticed a massive charge on my credit card a week later and they were so quick to respond and fix it right away! Recommend this place to anyone looking to watch sports, grab a drink, and also their burgers were great.

Great pub with an awesome vibe in the late afternoon/evening. Several Tv's showing sport/football, including Aussie Rules (AFL) which is great for this Aussie. Service was both efficient and with a smile. Would definitely recommend and be back!

During our trip to Seville, we spent an evening at a cozy pub called The Merchant House for drinks and dinner and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. Right from the start, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, helped us with our order, and even offered some great local recommendations once they found out we were tourist. A thoughtful touch that made us feel truly welcome. For food, we ordered the Chicken Quesadilla (€8.25), the Bacon Tower Smash Burger (€12.50), and the Chicken Fillet with Chips (€6). To drink, we enjoyed a few glasses of the house red wine (€3.60 each) and some pints of beer (€3 each). Every dish was delicious. Honestly, some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Spain. We left happy, full, and with great memories. Highly recommended if you're ever in Seville!

Came here to watch the hurling league final. They had a screen dedicated to GAA. Friendly staff, good Guinness and great atmosphere amongst the small crowd watching the hurling. One of the best Irish pubs you'll find outside of Ireland. Can highly recommend when in Seville.

Consistently fun dive bar! All workers speak English, too. The ciders are all really good. As for the food, the pulled pork sandwich never misses. I will say, my friends got the nachos and there was cottage cheese instead of shredded/melted cheese? But then the other table shredded/melted so it DOES exist. And they have sour cream!!

We arrived in the merchant after just arriving in Seville and what a welcome we got. The pints of Guinness are amazing and the food is just as good. I had a club sandwich and my girlfriend had nachos and both were beautifully presented and tasted great. The food is very reasonably priced. The service from both waiting staff and bar staff is equally prompt and all are great people to chat to. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The bar is always busy so if you want a seat you definitely need to get in early especially if the football is on. I cannot recommend this bar enough for a pint and some grub.

Came here on a Friday and Saturday nights in mid November. Great atmosphere as there were different rugby games on. One of the better Irish bars you'll find outside Ireland- authentic as we saw an advert for ladies GAA.

I came here to watch a FA cup game and the staff was more than happy to find the game and turn it on. They had a very good beer list and a bar full of good spirits. I ordered some chili nachos that they cooked chrispy which was fantastic. While there the staff was very friendly and checked in often to make sure I had everything I needed. Other people there were also friendly and I joined a table of other people to chat while watching the Wrexham game.

The bar is very quiet and has a fun atmosphere. It's a perfect place for fans of watching live sports (football, basketball). It has a good selection of beers and spirits, and the orange wine is excellent. The english speaking service is impeccable. I recommend ordering drinks from Karol, the service is excellent. The bar was probably the only one of its kind open on xmas eve, which is a huge plus.

Muy buen lugar, variado tipo de cervezas. Los atendentes preocupados con la necesidad de uno. No probé la comida pero parecía buena de lo que vi. Ambiente agradable para varios gustos y muchas pantallas para ver diferentes partidos. La nota son 3 estrellas porque yo fui a ver el partido del Arsenal y la internet paro de funcionar, comprometiendo el streaming y mi razón de ir. Mayor parte del público era por el fútbol, hagan el favor de invertir en lo máximo de canales deportivos posibles para que no se encuentren con este tipo de problema tonto.

Los precios ha ido subiendo. La cerveza está prohibitiva, a precio de guiri porque es el público objetivo hoy. La comida tiene altibajos. El fish and chips está bien, pero el sándwich de la foto se supone que es con “pan brioche” y de hecho lo reclamamos y nos dijeron que eso es el pan brioche. Si quieres estar en un lugar de Dublín en pleno centro de Sevilla éste es el lugar perfecto (algunas de las camareras son anglosajonas y una de ellas muy simpática, una joven inglesa con pelo castaño y ojos azules). Buen lugar para tomar algo del estilo a cervezas artesanas etc. El café irlandés súper rico, de los mejores que he probado. También tienen carta de comida. Merece la pena visitarlo. Edito la reseña al final de la visita: nos han sacado la cuenta teniendo la consumición a mitad!!! sin pedirla, un gesto que parece que nos quieren echar…con el datáfono y todo!! Hemos consumido 3 consumiciones de casi 20€ en 1 hora aprox o menos, con lo cual no está mal. Por lo que veo no soy la única. Quito las 5* a 1* por este motivo, ese detalle es MUY feo.

The place is a disaster. They have no customer service. The waitresses are so rude. They don't understand your order and then yell at you when they get it wrong. You ask them for something and they tell you whatever just to move on. I am appalled at what this wonderful place is becoming . It used to be so fun and now it’s a 0. Its sucks ! It really sucks that a fun place is going down the drain . It saddens me that people treat people like this . I feel completely discriminated and disrespected by the treatment of the waitress . Not acceptable!
