Uno de mis sitios favoritos cuando quiero celebrar algo especial. Fui para celebrar mi graduación y no conseguimos reservar pero nos metimos en la lista de espera y nos consiguieron una mesa muy rápido. La mesa que nos dieron fue muy buena y un ambiente genial. La comida de 10 precio-calidad y los camareros muy buena gente y atentos.

Buena atención y buena relación calidad/precio aunque en esta ocasión no había música en directo. Volveré sin dudarlo, y sobre todo, lo recomiendo.

Casa Roman was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist, and it did not disappoint! Very tasty food, great sangria and the waiter was lovely! The location is also very nice especially if you can secure a table outside. We ended up going twice in 2 days. I would definitely recommend it over any other touristy tapas place. Casa roman is located not far at all from Santa Cruz. Their menu revives my soul. I had lunch and dinner on two separate days. The Octopus was excellent, perfectly seasoned and very tender. The tortilla which I like soft and goey was exactly that. The artichoke was also a revelation. Casa Roman is hidden away like most amazing place in Seville and if you sit outside at night, you will thoroughly enjoy the lovely vibe.

4 of us rocked up near to the end of lunchtime service. Had a delicious lunch with a healthy amount of drinks. 1. Food - makes this worth a visit alone. We particularly enjoyed the large tortilla. 2. Price - very very good. We all commented that we were pleasantly surprised at the cost considering how much we'd ordered. 3. We also loved the aesthetic. We sat inside and were very impressed with the overall feel of the restaurant. 4. Service. None of us had any Spanish but they were very patient as we completely failed to pronounce any of the words.

Just a 5-minute walk from the Royal Alcázar, this little gem is absolutely worth a visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by — you won’t be disappointed. Casa Román serves traditional Spanish tapas that taste fresh and homemade. In fact, if something isn't homemade, it’s clearly marked on the menu — a nice, honest touch that we really appreciated. The tortilla de patatas deserves a special mention — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The service was excellent too: friendly, efficient, and welcoming throughout. If you’re looking for an authentic tapas experience in Seville, give this place a go!

I already had this place in mind when I was planning my trip; and boy, it didn't disappoint. First up, top notch ambience. The photos speak for themselves. I wanted to try gazpacho; the awesome gentlemen serving us informed us that they were out of gazpacho, and recommended instead salmorejo (4,50€); with that, I guess I found my new favourite soup. Absolutely delicious and such a wonderful treat to the tastebuds. The grilled vegetables (13€) are amazing. Not much to say here except HOW DO YOU GET SUCH HUGE TOMATOES. AND SUCH FRESH MUSHROOMS. AND THE BRINJAL?!?!?!?!? Got a tapa of the iberian tenderloin with whiskey sauce (5€). Delicious, if not a little too flavoured. I would go less on the salt but that's just me and my Singaporean palette. And also a tapa of fried cod (5,60€). Nothing much to shout about here. This order was for a family of 3 adults - for asian families with small appetites like mine, I do not recommend anything more than what I have.

This place came highly recommended by a local tapas expert, and we had a great evening here. The welcome was warm, atmosphere great with many locals and tourists and the food was excellent. We tried many dishes: gazpacho, fried squid, fried bacalao, peppers, mushrooms with ham, aubergines,a beef dish and ratatouille with quail eggs. All were very good. The only dish we didn’t like was the orange flan. It is more high end than other places in the tourist area, but the offerings are extensive and well done.

What a romantic spot! This was my favorite restaurant. When we arrived, there was no seating for us. That is until the manager strode to something wooden and folded, and like magic, a table appeared for us outdoors on a beautiful October night. The ambiance in this historic plaza was full of charm, as was our server (David) who took great care of us. With stars overhead and a friendly courtyard buzzing with laughter and conversation (in many languages), this was a perfect last evening in Spain for us before we flew back to Chicago in the morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We came across Casa Roman by accident on our first night in Seville, and the bar was set very high. Since then we have not been able to find anywhere comparable for food, service and authenticity than Casa Roman. The place itself is beautifully decorated with marble tiled floor, and marble topped tables inside, wooden beamed ceiling and oil paintings on the walls. The Iberico hams hanging from the ceiling add the character that immediately makes you think of Spain. The menu was a genuine delight to navigate and if anything is too difficult to figure out there is a QR code for the English menu. Service? These guys have it down to a relaxed efficiency that would make many a fine dining restaurant wish to emulate if they could. These guys genuinely know each other and their customers. They are “on it”. Lastly but most importantly the food; this was a perfect mix of convenience and pure luxury. Each plate could be ordered when you were good and ready and came quickly. The kitchen must be just as efficient as the front of house. Ingredients are typically fresh, standard is top notch and it tastes absolutely amazing. Lasting memories are made by good food and this does not disappoint. Five stars from us.

I think Casa Román is one of the best tapas restaurants we’ve ever been to in the old down area. The outdoor area has a great atmosphere too. The brownie is also excellent! Highly recommended! It is always full soon after it’s open, so better make reservations in advance!

Such a great hidden gem. The food was delicious. The restaurant looks very cozy with a few tables outside on the street in the sun. The menu is quite traditional but it's was probably one of the nicest dishes we had in Sevilla so far. Definitely will come again.

El restaurante está muy bien ubicado y el ambiente muy acogedor. El servicio es muy bueno. En cuanto a la comida, lo vemos regular. La parillada de verduras poca cantidad, el rabo de toro es muy bueno, el bacalao a punto y el salmón a la plancha con buen sabor.

Lugar con mucha historia y ambiente agradable. La relación calidad-precio es algo elevada para la cantidad, pero el servicio de los camareros es excelente y muy atento. En general, buena experiencia.

El local es precioso y está decorado con mucho gusto. Nos tocó en la planta de arriba, que quizá es más moderna y con menos encanto, pero aun así el ambiente es agradable. La pasta estaba espectacular, lo mejor de la cena. Los entrantes (pan de ajo y revuelto de patatas con huevos de corral y chorizo dulce) estaban bien, aunque algo sosos para nuestro gusto. Queremos destacar especialmente a Yolanda, que nos atendió con un trato muy implicado, servicial y amable. Fue atenta y cuidadosa en todo momento, e hizo que la experiencia fuera mucho mejor. The espinacas con garbanzos and the solomillo were amazing (probably the best we had in Sevilla). Some tapas are really little (like the croquetas and jamon) but everything we ate was great! The coffee however was burnt so wouldn’t recommend!

Soy clienta habitual desde los años 80...y nunca pense tener que decir esto. Ayer fuimos a cenar unos amigos... Yo pedí una pizza San Marcos, como muchas otras veces, y salí desolucionado. La pizza bastante quemada y la parte inferior de la masa totalmente cruda. Y vimos a otra mesa que le ocurrió lo mismo. El resto de la comida bien. Ante la queja, solamente disculparse... Ni tan siquiera lo compensaron y mucho menos dejar de cobrarla.

Decided to try Casa Román. They’re known for their jamón ibérico and cola de toro (oxtail). No wait for a table inside, but packed outside on a Saturday afternoon. English menu is available (scan the QR code). - Tinto de verano (1,70€) - Vermouth lustra (2,40€) - my least favourite vermouth that I drank all trip. - Pan y picos (1,80€) - Remolachas aliñadas (2,50€) - basic beets. - Berenjena a la plancha (2,75€) - eggplant wasn’t grilled long enough. Not much flavour. - Jamón ibérico de bellota (4,30€) - huge ripoff. Two tiny pieces of ibérico ham. - Arroz de cola (3,20€) - rice was tasty, oxtail tender. Only available on weekends. - Costillitas de cerdo ibérico a la plancha (7,50€ for 1/2) - ribs were greasy and 90% bones. Given the cheap, tough end pieces. Only dish we liked was the oxtail. Everything else was unmemorable.
