Es uno de esos restaurantes que recuerdas mucho después de haber ido. El equipo es profesional, amable y realmente conoce su carta, lo que hizo la experiencia mucho más enriquecedora. La comida fue deliciosa: pedimos unas Gambas al ajillo una delicia, ingredientes frescos y sabores equilibrados, no se sentia fuertemente el ajo. Si estás de paso por Sevilla no te puedes perder La Cayetana de Marqués de Paradas, atento y elegante servicio de el camarero Javier además de un producto de calidad superior, la guinda, su selección de vinos que aunque escueta acuña lo mejor de nuestro país y acompaña la propuesta gastronómica perfectamente. A mi vuelta por la capital andaluza no dudaré en visitar mi nuevo restaurante favorito.

Hemos venido a cenar por primera vez y de verdad que volveremos, da alegría el trato de la camarera, mejor no nos ha podido atender y aserto con sus recomendaciones. La comida es espectacular. Recomiendo las gambas al ajillo y las croquetas, la carne es de calidad. Encantada.

Recomiendo totalmente visitar este bonito restaurante sobre todo por la calidad de la comida, el gran servicio que nos ofrecieron y la relacción calidad precio.

We wandered in off the street and were made to feel like long lost friends. I must say the food here is the nicest I have ever eaten in a restaurant! We liked it so much we went back the next night and the meal was even better. It was the 1st time I have ordered a rare steak and got exactly what I asked for, cooked to perfection. We walked in without reservation on a busy night and the friendly wait staff accommodated us, even with a young child. There was a great selection of local wines, and the food was outstanding. We especially liked the prawns cooked in garlic oil, and the pork and cod entrees. Oh and the dessert was top-notch. In fact we got a second round. Overall, one of our favourite dining experiences in Seville.

La Cayetana was one of the most pleasant and unexpected gastronomic surprises we experienced in Seville. We were simply wandering through the streets looking for a place to eat — no preparation, no reviews, just walking and looking through restaurant windows. Suddenly, we saw a man with a warm smile bringing out a beautiful plate of fish to a table. That was our sign 🙂 We came in, were asked what we liked, and the waiter Javi took care of everything. He recommended the fish, the wine, and a tomato salad — and honestly, that salad was a dream! Simple, fresh, and absolutely perfect. Our conclusion: one wonderful woman chef in the kitchen and a true god among waiters — Javi. For me and my friends, La Cayetana is the best restaurant in Seville. We will definitely come back!

I've had a very great experience at La Cayetana with my friends, the service first night was a tiny bit awkward at first as we don't speak Spanish very well - but we quickly managed to establish a great relationship with the servers as the night progressed. We had incredible starters, packed full of flavor and very high quality - enjoyable to the last bite. We had the meats afterwards and we were very delighted with our choices. The night ended with a little appertivio and the entire experience made us come back for a second time. Would definitely recommend!

It’s such a good adress. Everything is so delicious. The wine is great too. The waiter is really nice as well ! We took starters to share : the almond soup with red tuna, the omelet / tortilla, and two iberian pork with rice (like a risotto). Really a place not to miss ! 😋

A small and very atmospheric restaurant with a friendly and attentive staff. The interior is authentic with the peeled off paint and the blue colours. We took what the chef recommended, and it was so delicious. For starters, we had the Ibérico ham croquettes and the speciel of today, which was tuna croquettes. As main course, we enjoyed the Ibérian pork served with French fries and grilled bell pepper in each color. So beautifully served. The meat was tender and tasteful. We enjoyed a special white wine from Andalusien, and it was dry, oaky and fitted well with the dishes. The price is very reasonable, as we paid app. 100€ all together for four persons. Highly recommendable!

A unique Andalusian experience. We tried multiple dishes at the suggestion of our waiter and host, Javi, who helped us understand what would be the best order to enjoy our shrimp, octopus, pork cheek, and unique almond based soup with tuna. We were lucky to get a table without reservation. So do reserve!! It’s totally worth it. We went by the recommendation of the staff who was fantastic and multilingual. Only thing is, if you order the special of the day you may want to find out its price so you are not surprised when the bill comes. We still enjoyed every bit of our experience down to the wine recommendation. If you are in Sevilla for one meal definitely try to go there. We had the roasted artichoke, pork back cooked rare, and pork cheek cannelloni.

La Cayetana was by far our favorite restaurant in Sevilla...so much so that we dined here twice during our visit. Javi and Pablo were knowledgeable about the menu, specials of the day, wine and sherry pairing along with being consummate hosts making sure we had a great experience. The food here is exceptional and absolutely made with love. Each dish we ordered was an explosion of interesting and unique flavors both familiar and unfamiliar. The scallops, octopus, bean soup and pork with whiskey sauce were delicious and of course the homemade cheesecake to end the meal was a real treat. We can't wait to come back and in the meantime will cherish our great memories here.

Good food in a cozy restaurant! The waitress recommended us some specials including a tuna tartare with truffle mayo that was phenomenal! The iberico rice was really flavorful and the rice was well-cooked. The pork with whiskey sauce, that was also a special, had a nice smokey taste to it from the char and whiskey. The scallops were really well-cooked with lots of garlic flavor which I love. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves!

Visitar La Cayetana es, en principio, una promesa atractiva: un local con buena carta, estética cuidada y una cocina que apunta maneras. Y, en efecto, la propuesta gastronómica cumple con nota en muchos aspectos. Lástima que el servicio empañe lo que podría haber sido una experiencia redonda. La cocina: producto y sabor con momentos brillantes La comida, en líneas generales, está muy bien trabajada. Buena materia prima, puntos de cocción precisos y combinaciones equilibradas. La tosta de steak tartar es un acierto: carne magra de calidad, bien aliñada y en su punto, sin excesos ni artificios. Las puntillitas fueron la sorpresa de la velada. Esperábamos el clásico frito andaluz y, sin embargo, llegaron en una suerte de guiso con pimientos y una base que recordaba a sémola o pasta. Original y muy sabroso; una reinterpretación que funciona. El pulpo, servido con patata cocida en su punto justo, merece mención especial: textura perfecta y sabor limpio. También el calamar, tierno y bien tratado, aunque algo justo de tamaño. El tartar de atún es, sin duda, el plato estrella. Trozos generosos, frescos y sabrosos. Una elaboración sencilla, pero muy bien ejecutada. En cambio, el arroz negro fue la gran decepción: insípido y sorprendentemente escaso para su precio (18 € por ración individual). No invita a repetir. Los postres, correctos sin más, no aportan nada memorable. Cumplen, pero no destacan. El servicio: una sombra innecesaria Donde la experiencia se vino abajo fue en el trato. El camarero asignado, con gestos poco afortunados y una actitud más cercana a la desgana que a la hospitalidad, consiguió que el ambiente se volviera incómodo. Una lástima, porque no hablamos de un bar de barrio, sino de un restaurante que aspira —o al menos aparenta aspirar— a cierto nivel. Faltó amabilidad, profesionalidad y, sobre todo, educación. No pedimos servilismo, pero sí respeto y una sonrisa. Conclusión La Cayetana tiene cocina, tiene producto y tiene potencial. Pero el servicio, tal como lo vivimos, no está a la altura de lo que cobra ni de lo que promete. Una experiencia gastronómica que pudo ser excelente, pero terminó dejando un sabor amargo. Y eso, en hostelería, pesa más que cualquier arroz mal resuelto.

Este restaurante tiene una gran puntuación y estoy convencido que más que merecida y por ello quiero empezar mi valoración por ahí. A menudo el cliente no conecta con el espíritu que la casa quiere transmitir con sus platos y eso no quiere decir que ya sea malo de por sí ni mucho menos. Al final esto no deja de ser una opinión subjetiva. Fuimos a este local tras ver el vídeo de Instagram y animados también por los comentarios que a mí me sirven mucho. El local pequeñito y acogedor no terminó de convencerme del todo. Quizás llevaba muchas expectativas. El servicio estupendo y muy atento. La única pega que no nos gustó nada es ver como un camarero acudía su turno cruzando con un patinete por medio de la sala. Curiosamente nos pasó en otro buen restaurante y creo que estos detalles hay que cuidarlos. La Cayetana no es un local de comida rápida. Yendo ya a la comida, los entrantes que pedimos fueron la ensaladilla, la tosta de steak tartar y los boquerones al limón. Muy buenos realmente. El calamar frito también muy recomendable. Fue en el resto de platos principales donde verdaderamente no entendimos lo que pasó porque a nuestro entender, no pasaron de platos simples y caseros que pudieran degustarse en una casa de comida sin más. Estos fueron el arroz ibérico, la presa, albóndigas de salmón (fuera de carta) y ensalada de tomates con anchoas. Esta última especialmente anodina. Con esto terminó nuestra experiencia. Aún así Sevilla y su centro bien merece seguir explorando opciones como la Cayetana.

Fuimos a comer y pedimos dos de arroz con ibéricos, dos de arroz negro con alioli y el canelón (éramos 5). Además, ensalada de tomate con anchoa. El motivo de darle tres estrellas es simple: la comida es simplona y el precio es elevado. En primer lugar, nos cobraron 10 euros (2€/persona) por el servicio de pan, aceitunas y aceite. La cantidad de pan, de aceite y de aceitunas era exactamente LA MISMA (un paquete de pan tostado plano y cuatro rodajas de pan) que la de la mesa de al lado, y eran dos, por lo que les cobraron 4€ en vez de 10€. Si cobras por asiento, ponlo, pero no trates de engañar sirviendo la misma cantidad de pan a dos que a cinco y cobrando 6€ más. Por otro lado, la cantidad de la ensalada de tomate, lechuga de bolsa y anchoas es de broma para costar 14€. Al margen de esto, el arroz estaba bien, sin más, y en canelón igual. En cuanto a postres, la tarta de queso estaba rica, la verdad, y la torrija bastante inspida, no la recomiendo. No volvería.

And the almond soup with tuna has seen better days. The tuna was brown not fresh at all, I eat fresh tuna every day and tuna is red. Maybe they were just having an off day, because many guest had issues with their order last night a few people returned their food. Unfortunately my meal was not memorable and I cannot recommend this restaurant with all the amazing food in Sevilla!
