Del Taco

My favourite part about Del Taco (Of the Taco) is the atmosphere. There's nothing like being in a Del Taco drive through, it's like a concert but better. They even have a speaker for the Del Taco Taco Friend™ to speak to you through. Talk about futuristic! If the car in front of you is an older car, you might even get a whiff of classic petrol. What a treat. When you get to the final window, don't forget to shout "It's jolly taco time!" for a chance to win.

So the manager was extremely professional! Today I had a less than stellar lunch experience, but the manager more than made up for it with his professionalism!

I love this Del Taco, it’s really great for fast low cost food. Of all the fast food places Del taco has the lowest prices. But their food is really really good especially the double Del Burger and the Del beef burrito and the crinkle cut fries, which are always hot and delicious. We pick up our food to go from here, what a breath of fresh air to have a sophisticated drive-through that actually works! By contrast, the BK drive through which will make you wish there was an escape route. I highly recommend this Del Taco because it is so close to Trader Joe’s… we usually grab some food from this Del taco every time we go to Trader Joe’s! I usually get the double Dell and the Del beef burrito, but sometimes get the bean, rice and cheese burritos.

So the manager was extremely professional! Today I had a less than stellar lunch experience, but the manager more than made up for it with his professionalism!

I made a mistake while ordering, manager took the time to listen to me,made my order right, adjusted prices, and overall restored my faith in proper customer care. I must add their drive thru was busy, and before me at the register some clients were trying to make the best out of mail in coupons and he was calm, understanding and welcoming

But if you get snack tacos the hard shell is always going to be fresh usually it won't be stale nobody likes a hard soft taco if you know what I mean if you get the regular taco 🌮 they don't sell enough so the hard shell tends to be stale which is a soft hard taco! Usually pretty good. Only issue I had this past time was my Quesadilla tasted like chemicals. IDK if they had just cleaned the grill or the food prep area but either way it definitely should not tasted or smelled like that. I just threw it away.

Sooo if you're coming here, be ready for a wait... it usually takes a while to get your food but it is SO WORTH IT. The wings are to die for and so are the burgers!!! This place is one of the best burger places out there

I came to this Del Taco location since I was in the plaza at Tmobile store and wanted some fries. I made the order through the app since I was thought it would make my food be ready faster. After I walked out of the tmobile store, I went back to the Del Taco app and tap that I'm here. When I walked inside the store, the worker said they just started making the fries so I would have to wait. The good thing about this is that the fries will be fresh but the bad thing is that the wait was about 5 minutes. So ordering through the app doesn't mean anything until you actually got to the area where Del Taco is and check in. The fries were delicious, seasoned well and fresh. The interior of this Del Taco is better than most that I seen. Bathroom is also outside so it's not inside the store. My score: Food: 5 star, the fries were delicious and that's usually why I'll come here. Atmosphere: 4 star, it's not the best and it's not the worst. Service: 5 star, I didn't have any issues when I came here beside waiting for my fries.

Definitely one of the more nicer employees when it comes to Del Taco. This specific Del Taco has some great quality when it comes to the food. It does take a bit longer than other restaurants to get the food, but at least you know they are making it from scratch. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the service can be a bit faster and the Drive thru can use some work, otherwise the employees are extremely nice and the food is on point

Cashier's at Del tacos in general are slowly improving in their friendliness and courtesy. This is nice to see and they should be commended as well as the managers provided it continues.

THIS IS AN ADD ON TO THE ORIGINAL REVIEW DEL BEEF BURRITO REVIEW Again, I've always considered Del Taco to be the best fast Mexican food restaurant out there. At least twice as good as their biggest competitor! That being said, they have replaced one of my favorite menu items and the replacement sucks! The Del Beef burrito is gone. It was good. Lots of well seasoned ground beef with cheddar cheese and a little red sauce. The replacement has this soupy meat mixture and if there was any cheese it was an unnoticeable amount absorbed into the soup. I ordered Pico de Gallo added twice...there was none. The burrito was so floppy that the soupy meat just fell out on my tray...I'm sure glad I wasn't eating in my truck like usual! BRING BACK THE DEL BEEF BURRITO!!! I hate to say this but this is just like Taco Bell's beef burrito. One of the reasons I never eat there! Well, maybe once a year just to remind myself why I don't eat there! But I digress. I like Del Taco for your freshness and great tasting menu items but don't start cutting your quality back. Follow In and Out's lead and decrease your size a little bit but don't cut the quality of the food that makes you popular! EPIC AVOCADO MEXICAN BURRITO REVIEW I love del Taco but I just had the worst burrito ever. I ordered the Epic Avocado Mexican Burrito with carne asada. 1st of all it was cold even though it was only 4 minutes from the time the driver left the restaurant till she delivered it to my door. Second, there was only about 5 bites of meat in it...lots of beans Third, the Avocado was too hard to even chew. Very disappointing. I think if it were my restaurant and I featured an "Epic Avocado Burrito" and I didn't have ripe avocados it would be "temporarily unavailable".

This Del Taco is ok. The main reason I didn't give a five star rating is, because for some strange reason the public restrooms at the location are only accessible with a token that you have to go inside and get from an employee. It's a bit of a hassle and anytime I've had to get a token I've always felt as though I was bothering the employee that I had to ask. Thank goodness that they opened a McDonald's right across the street, now I just go there if I have to use the restroom on my lunch break.

The food is exactly what you'd expect; it's decent and affordable. I've eaten inside before and had an employee assume I was a homeless man who needed the key to the outside bathroom. Honestly, I was pretty insulted by that. The employees tend to be teenagers who are a bit squirrelly and RUDE (obviously) but what do you expect, ya know? At least they halfheartedly cleaned down the tables. Maybe just use the drive-thru...

The food was fine, but it was very sloppily put together... Tacos with all the meat/toppings on one side or the other, broken shells, a burrito that was hardly closed up. I'm not expecting perfection, or five star dining here, but having the items be made properly is a nice thing.

I love their Double Del burgers. To me, better than In and Out. I also love their Macho Beef Burrito, but my order is ALWAYS wrong! I wish they'd get it together. The service and management though are excellent. My orders are corrected without hassle. It's just a waste of food, as as all wrong orders are thrown away, which kills me.

This Del Taco I have complained before and they don't know what they're doing. No proper training just from the way the food is served. And the other Del Taco off First St is better but one employee thinks she's too cool to be there and has an attitude.

Poor customer service. I got the wrong order by the time I got home after work. I called up to let them know and nobody answer the phone . Next day first thing I did was call and the lady who answered the phone was really rude, she practically call me a liar, when a got the food and the receipt. I'll definitely spread the voice around my friends. Too bad Oscar is not there anymore, Hilda and the cashier who answered the phone need to get out of there and bring people who cares about customer service and be more kind. Very upsetting situation after a long day at work.

If I could rate a 0 I would. They asked if I wanted any sauces I said yes please mild, didn't end up getting any sauce's, ordered churro chicken box well didn't get any churros got fries instead. Wouldn't recommend going and not checking your food before you leave they always mess up something and it's not like something small they messed up multiple items and multiple times. HUGE THUMBS DOWN 👎

I don’t know how these guys can run out of hot sauce. I’ve come in three times this week and showed up today and they don’t have any hot sauce left, each day they had less and less. They should fire the manager.

My experience was total BS. Came in to pickup doordash order..mgr said "it's not ready we're not open (I'm fuc_in inside mind you) you need to go thru drive thru. What kinda childish BS is that..had he any b_lls he could've easily said hang on almost ready. That's how they treat customers. May be doordash but you'd be treated same had you ordered online and came to pickup. Ridiculous and as unprofessionally immature as it gets. Guy at window was great though and should be manager

Employee Jose didn't imput my order correctly and went back to order what he missed said he couldn't because they were cleaning grill and would be about 20 minutes and was rude to me about it. No ice at machine and while I was there another unhappy customer in to complain about. I will not come back to this store!

You can't reach anyone when your order is wrong. No one physically is apparently there. This is an insult to customers. They want your money, but don't want to have to answer for mistakes. I'm hoping this is a franchise.......if it's corporate.......shame on you Del Taco. I'm disgusted

One solid review, why? because of that dumb bathroom, the long wait and the stupid food. I got a wrap and it was burnt and tasted like rubber. The bathrooms dirty, and you need a dumb token to use it one of the rooms can't be open and no one was in them. And I walked in the toilet can't flush and its overflowed. It was thanks giving and we wanted to get some in n out off the 118 but it was not open. Del Taco was open and the wait was REALLY REALLY LONNNGG! All the tables were sticky and I don't recommend to anyone!

The Dine in door are never open at 7am. Or even pass 7. I drive a large truck so I have to go inside the restaurant.. I have to flag down someone for them to open. The 2 teens that work there alway playing loud Rap music while the restaurant music plays its own. The usual people I useth to see here never come by anymore. I will never go to this Del anymore.

I think they are not changing there oil may be good during the day but late night and early morning is bad that goes on management at night just lazzy if you ask me think because they work nights no one will notice well we all do. Ugh.. bought a spicy chicken burrito, no rice, ez beans, EXTRA CHICKEN. PAID over 5 dollars for this tasteless gem. No extra chicken in this burrito. It looked like one of their rollers it was so small. I looked inside and there was a small dusting of chicken that was partially burnt. I give up on this place!!!

The girl in the drive thru is absolutely HORRIBLE. She literally got my order wrong and then BLAMED me for apparently not saying it correctly. A kids meal is a kids meal. She was so rude.

I ordered a large fries and a large sprite that’s it. And they completely messed up my order. I told the guy at the register the order is wrong. He just gave me a side eye and didn’t seem to care. I ended up getting charged 15.09! For 5 bean burritos! I will not be returning. Overall a frustrating experience.

I'm getting an extra large Hi C punch cleaned out of my interior now.
