The nicest lady came by when we were done eating and saw that I had a lot of bread bowl left and brought me extra soup to fill it! It was so nice! Great service and great food.

LOVE it. This location is SO SO SO much better than the one in Encinitas! I'd rather go out of my way to this one than to the one right down the street. The salad was fresh and not wilted! No rotten veggies or fruit. This location has redeemed Panera's reputation with me, for sure! Thank you!

I used to work in the area and would come here on my breaks to take advantage of the Unlimited Sip Club that Panera offers. It's a shame that there are no locations where I moved to. It's a great program, really helps you get to know the folks here. Everybody was always super kind to me and remembered my order. I enjoyed stopping in here on my break at work and definitely recommend this location to anybody in the area for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick drink.

Excellent soup and sandwiches and bakery items! Nice place really comfortable. Great staff and great service. Some of the best soups I’ve ever had, especially the French onion. Had a great turkey and cheddar sandwich today, and the creamy chicken and rice soup was just what I needed. The bakery items are awesome.

Manager Steven gave me outstanding service and always with a smile. People like him make all the difference. This is my favorite Panera from now on. Thank you Steven, for showing your best for your customers!

Everything is so expensive these days. I try to choose places that have healthy options. Panera is my go to for a fast meal on the go. Very friendly staff as well.

Friendly service and great food. My son ordered mac and cheese but they were out. The manager came to our table, told us they were out, comp'ed us a pastry, and let me select another pasta dish for my son. I forgot he didn't like pesto so when the dish came out, my son barely touched it. The manager came back out to check on us, my son told him he didn't really like the pesto sauce. The manager offered to comp us a second kid's item before i could even ask for anything. The food came out quickly and hot every time. Service was on par with what I'd expect from an upscale restaurant.

Soups in Panera Bread are great. I believe that they started in the East Coast. While there I tried a lobster sandwich that I have not seen any other Panera bread here. The consistency of flavor across their stores is amazing. You always know what are you going to get...if you have tried it before of course.

Food is good, convenient location, fast service. Perfect for weekday lunch. It could be a little cleaner but it might've been they were busy with lunch crowd.

The ordering tablet system at this location could be improved. They say they will text you on the number put it, but they only call names inside the restaurant.

Lost my order, so I was waiting for 15+ minutes. Once they realized what happened, they immediately apologized, gave me a free pastry while I waited, and rushed my order. Mistakes happen, that's life. It was good to see them own it and make it up.

I like the menu options. I should have asked for the dressing on the side for the BBQ chicken salad as there was too much for my taste. But that is a personal opinion The flavor of everything was very good. I like plain black iced tea and their tea is very good consistently.

Panera coffee deal is great but there are so many inconsistencies with where they are putting your coffee when you order for pick up.... sometimes I’m waiting 10 minutes inside the store because they have the coffee ready at a different pick up spot in the store than they usually do. Also stevia sugar would be nice to have

Disappointing. Buffalo chicken sandwich was average at best. Typically Panera has quite good offerings - not sure if it was a function of this location or an off day. In general, sandwich choices have gone downhill. No baked bread (shelves were empty) and very few bagels - maybe only 4 choices and not much available at 2:00p.m.

I order two orders of the “you pick two” First order was a Greek salad with chicken added, two small pieces of chicken. Second order had half a chicken salad sandwich with no more than a tablespoon of chicken salad on it and the half Caesar salad came with half a small container of dressing enough for four bites. I would assume ordering in at the restaurant if possible would be a better experience.

Mac & Cheese. Some of the best around using Vermont white Cheddar, white American cheese blended with a little cream and butter. Is something everyone should get every time they come here, that is unless your like these kids that study here for the wifi like a Starbucks. I used to love their bread, but have learned that it is very good, but not great. I've found some M/P show operations that do artisanal to the next level. The whole mass production of Panera has soured its reputation in my book. Oh I'll still come here for the mac & cheese and eat a sandwich while I'm there, but it's part of growing up. I'll still look upon Panera fondly, but when you get your meat from a salumeria and bread from an artisan baker places like Panera fall from favor a little. Parking lot sucks, but it's mostly the terrible drivers trying to navigate a bar lot.

I meet here monthly with a professional planning group and they are always accommodating and the environment works well for us. I don't love the food options but you know what you're getting with Panera.

The food was standard Panera food. Luckily they had the black bean soup back. The experience was not great as the counter person was very very slow and simple orders need to be repeated. The person handing us the food tried to deny that the pager going off meant that our food was ready. Not a great experience!

Arrived just before 1030 for breakfast. Sausage on my breakfast sandwich was dried out. It was not very busy yet my food and coffee sat on the counter for some time. We finally got up and got it ourselves even though we were given a number for it to be brought to the table. There were several staff members that didn't appear very busy. Compared to other Panera's I have been to this location was not up to par.

I got the 2 items for lunch. Worst Greek salad I have ever had. Good news is they only gave me half a salad Much better at other locations

Ordered the half sandwich, soup combo, as did my husband. The sandwiches were small and bland. The soup tasted like something I could get out of a can. The atmosphere is functional, like what you'd expect to see in campus dining. We spent $26 for the combos, a coffee, tea and croissant and left still hungry. (We are not large people!)

Didn't have the soufle I wanted despite it being on the menu. They automatically give you a medium coffee without asking size despite the free refills, total scam in my opinion, doesn't leave you with a positive feeling about the place.

This Panera is the worst Panera I have ever been to in my life. Keanu Reeves could not prepare my order even though I asked him three times. I am currently still waiting for my food, and now I am upset.

Terrible experience. I signed up for the unlimited zip club. When I went to the store they said I wasn't in the system. I called customer service they told me I was in the system and that they have my active subscription.

This place allows animals in the dining rooms humans eat at. Why? There is outdoor seating and its a nice day. When will this end? Maybe a child will need to be mauled before anyone does anything.

My son was hungry and dropped by a Panera to get some yogurt and something to eat and drink and they refused his service because he went to Earl Warren Junior high and apparently from what I hear Panera bread labels that junior high as a junior high with bad children. And this is in Solana Beach like give me a break this is a very nice neighborhood. I will never go to any Panera bread ever again and have advised my family to do as well this is the worst customer service I've ever seen in my entire life. I can't believe they actually refuse service to a child of 12 years old.

I recently visited this Solana Beach, CA Panera store after not having visited for a long time. I placed my order with a woman at the counter and was presented with a terminal that asked what size tip I wanted to leave. Since my order was for a take-out order, I declined to leave a tip. The woman taking my order must have seen that because she was not very friendly and did not say anything. My order included a coffee but she did not say to wait, or that she'd prepare my coffee, so I went to the other end of the store to pick up my order. Eventually the bagel came, but no coffee. I asked someone behind the pickup counter where my coffee was, and she came back a bit later with my coffee. The coffee cup had a lid loosely placed on top. I tried to push the lid on tighly but it would not stay on. The rim of the paper cup was kind of crushed all around. This should never be the case with a new cup. I took a new cup from the pick up area and went over to the sugar area and poured my coffee into a new cup, unfortunately creating more waste to end up in a landfill. Upon reflection, I firmly believe the woman I paid was angry or annoyed that I didn't leave a tip (for a take-out order!) and didn't tell me whether or not I should wait there for my coffee. Then when I had to ask for it at the pickup counter, she squeezed the rim of the cup so the lid would not stay on and I'd spill the coffee all over myself in the car. Nice. She was short, kind of round shaped, hispanic, borwn hair, in her 40s or 50s. I hope the manager can use this info to fire her for her very awful behavior. I do not feel I need to leave tips for take-out orders. It's the business's job to provide a living wage, not mine. If I had eaten in the establishment, I would have left a tip, but having a tip expected for a take-out order is just extortion, and I will not be intimiated. Buyer beware. For all I know, she may have also spat in my coffee. Poo-nera!
