Unfortunately, I don't come to Soncino very often, but when I do, I can't miss lunch/dinner at La Cantina. The waiters are very kind, polite, and smiling, and the food is even better! The food is truly delicious, with quality ingredients, very fresh fish, and the wines are also very good. It always leaves you satisfied! The location is also beautiful, a huge restaurant surrounded by greenery. Highly recommended! If you come to Soncino, you can't miss eating at La Cantina!

Siamo giunti qui consigliati da una persona del posto e non siamo rimasti delusi. C'è molto lavoro dietro il menu presentato agli avventori, anche se le porzioni dei secondi sono piuttosto contenute.

Locale incantevole. Cibo molto buono e piatti curati. La proprietaria simpatica e con tanta tanta grinta. Consigliato x cena romantica o con pochi amici.

Buon cibo, peccato che due delle mie scelte erano finite, mi aspettavo di poter mangiare piatti tipici del posto. La cantina di vini potrebbe offrire più scelta. Tutto sommato un buon rapporto qualità prezzo

A charming location in one of Italy's most beautiful villages: SONCINO. As soon as we arrived, we found a crowd of people celebrating...there was no second entrance, so we were forced to walk through the middle. I DIDN'T LIKE IT. We booked a table inside, in a more or less cozy room...but were disturbed by the excessively loud music coming from outside. We had two grilled seafood platters: the scampi were dry, but overall quite flavorful, the cuttlefish skewers were tasty, the shrimp were also a tad dry...along with a green salad. White wine, water, sorbet, two coffees accompanied by biscotti...€90.00 (€45.00 per person). Special note: the staff were kind, discreet, smiling, and helpful.

La Cantina di Soncino is one of those places that stays in your heart. The atmosphere is refined, intimate, and has that perfect blend of rustic and elegant that makes you feel immediately at ease. The staff is friendly, smiling, and always available, without ever being intrusive. The menu offers traditional dishes revisited with flavor and creativity. Each course is beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients and never boring pairings. The wine list is also excellent, with truly interesting local selections. Dinner here is more than just a meal: it's a pleasant experience, filled with authentic flavors and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for a special evening or simply to treat yourself.

Food: - all the dishes were good, well made and with very distinguishable flavors. The only note I can make is that pasta wasn’t “Al dente” but a bit overcooked. - presentation: simple, but well made. Service: - good service, nice and kind approach Environment: - location is a former wine cellar of a really nice villa. Really cool ceiling where bricks’ arches are clearly visibile Price: - it was ok-ish considering the location, the food ordered, the fact that was a lunch. Probably some € less would have been more appropriate

We went to Soncino on Saturday to visit the beautiful castle and the medieval old town. Among the various places to have lunch, we chose Cantina, which offered a business lunch menu. The location is beautiful, with outdoor tables, and inside, the walls are solid brick, and it was really crowded. The staff was friendly, so everything was fine, but the food wasn't very tasty. The ragù, in particular, was watered down and tasteless. The luganega was good, but the portions were child-sized, as were the mini bowls of salad and potatoes, which were flavorless. In short, it's cheap, but the quality unfortunately leaves much to be desired.

A nice restaurant if you want to spend a moment in almost complete silence. A business lunch costs €15 with all-inclusive fare, but the food (except for the rice and red cabbage) is a bit subpar and limited.

We were in the area for work and based on the reviews, we stopped. Total disappointment. The place was nice, but the food was disappointing: the flavors clashed and perhaps not even fresh. Spent a lot. Never again.
