We stopped at Da Beppe. It's outside the tourist center, opposite the hospital. We were, and remained, the only tourists that evening. All the other guests were familiar, greeted by name, and knew each other. We ordered pizza salmon and penne arrabiata, along with 1/2 liter of red wine and water. Everything was truly delicious. We followed this with another 1/4 liter of red wine, 2 grappas, and water. The bill, including tip, came to 50 euros. We could hardly believe it. Da Beppe has a recommendation.

Four stars because they're open on Monday evenings in the deserted Sondrio area. Average pizza, average prices. The fish seems to be worth it, but we didn't order it. The place is a classic '90s pizzeria, a blast from the past. Quiet place, upbeat music.

Mi sono fermato per una pausa pranzo veloce e ho provato le linguine alle vongole.. nulla di eccezionale molto olio(come visibile in foto) . Personale molto cordiale.

Okay, they did their job but absolutely nothing more. Nothing that made me feel welcome. Couldn't help but notice the difference in the treatment that other (Italian speaking) visitors received. It gave a slightly boring aftertaste to what was basically quite okay food.

3 stars of encouragement... We arrived on a Monday evening for pizza. Before entering, a strong smell of fried food filled the air... strange, because when we entered, the place was empty. Other than that, we ordered two mediocre pizzas, cooked well in a wood-fired oven. The place is a bit dated and decorated in a very confusing way, with a lackluster lighting system and cables and extension cords hanging everywhere. Given its location (near the hospital) and size, I think it could be better utilized.

Small but cozy place. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a seafood dinner. It was good but nothing exceptional. The quality/price ratio was average.

La pizza non è il massimo e inoltre la titolare ha sbagliato il conto arrotondando ovviamente a suo favore. Vengono esposti in acquario granchi all'apparenza ancora vivi anche se la pulizia dell'ambiente non è certo al primo posto. Necessita sicuramente di una rinfrescata tutto il locale, per me bocciato e ho mangiato anche in posti peggiori.

Unfortunately, the food quality has noticeably declined. What you get no longer matches the appealing photos shared online. We ordered the fish platter and were quite disappointed — it came with just one prawn, one small slice of a generic white fish, and one slice of salmon, all clearly cooked from frozen. Salad and fries are not included and cost an additional €5 each, bringing the total to €30. It no longer felt like good value for money which the rating suggested.

Definitely expensive, at least €3-5 less per dish would be fair... No set lunch menu, too bad... The pizza is very heavy, both in terms of dough and mozzarella/cheese. Friendly staff.

I tried the pizza, which was decent, nothing special, and I found the dough a bit heavy. The atmosphere is also a bit dated and shabby, and could use a bit of a makeover in my opinion... Friendly staff.

Sono stato ieri a mangiare con 3 amici e la mia Ragazza, appena ci siamo seduti arriva la proprietaria a prendere l’ordine. Come prima portata Arriva l’antipasto di salumi e senza ancora averlo finito, Arriva insieme anche la bistecca della ragazza da sola, e senza ancora i secondi di pesce degli altri 3,quindi ognuno praticamente ha mangiato da solo,le portate prima di essere servite bisogna aspettare che si finisca l’antipasto, e nonostante tutto in fase di ordine dell’altra bistecca non ha neanche chiesto che cottura avrei preferito, bistecca arrivata cruda, cosa che in un ristorante non deve accadere assolutamente. Altra cosa la signora che ci ha serviti fumava la sigaretta in aerea esterna e dopodiché prendeva le comande da servire senza lavarsi le mani. Ultima cosa arrotondamento del conto a favore loro, che uno dei miei amici gli ha detto di dare il resto perché appunto il conto era di 23 euro a persona e loro arrotondavano a favore loro, e nonostante ciò, non abbiamo ricevuto neanche lo scontrino fiscale. Posto assolutamente sconsigliato, possono lavorare solo con gli stranieri, Hanno perso 5 clienti. Pessimo servizio non da persone esperte nel loro lavoro.

Mai mentire. Non mi è possibile consigliarlo, e di certo non posso desiderare tornarci. Il locale è triste, non solo per la vista che si trova davanti a questo locale, in faccia all'ospedale, e alla piattaforma dove si appoggiano gli elicotteri che trasportano malati. Per finire il cibo. Pizzocheri crudi, mal conditi, con formaggio duro e non ben sciolto. Si va via gonfi, ma non appagati!

Everything we ordered was inedible, except for the pizza which was ok. The place is in a bad condition, smelling of cigarette smoke, staff who are unhappy when they see customers coming. You have to wait forever for service and food. Everything is obscenely expensive.
