Very close to the charming city of Soria, on the road to Burgos, lies one of the most popular spots for locals and tourists alike, known as Mount Valonsadero. There you'll find Casa del Guarda, a bar and restaurant that offers excellent service. The food is traditional, showcasing the quality of genuine local products (fries, eggs, chorizo, and meat, among other tempting options). Likewise, the staff deserve my highest praise for their politeness and professionalism. Without a doubt, it's a great place to relax, stroll, and enjoy a meal if you're looking to sample the delicious cuisine of Soria's ancient history.
Local food, delicious and in good quantities. We ordered two torreznos, some beans, and some lamb chops. Everything was tasty and high-quality. The waiters were attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Plus, the surrounding area offers beautiful natural surroundings. We'll definitely be back ❤️
A Soria classic that never disappoints. After a lovely walk around the area (there are marked trails), a group of us went for lunch. Reservations are essential, as it's very busy on weekends. Classic Soria cuisine. We had some excellent torreznos (crispy pork belly) accompanied by a porrón (a traditional Spanish wine pitcher) of beer while they prepared our table. We shared some beautifully presented salads. For our main course, we ordered the restaurant's signature dish, the "completo," which includes chorizo, egg, pork loin, and fries. The food was freshly prepared with quality ingredients. To finish, we shared some desserts and coffee. Attentive and fast service. Good prices. There's parking and a children's play area. We'll definitely be back.
Spending the day in the center of Soria, and knowing some friends in the city who knew about this place on the outskirts surrounded by nature, we decided to come here, and the experience was wonderful. We had to go to the bar area because the restaurant was full. We ordered the typical Soria-style torreznos (crispy pork belly), patatas bravas (spicy potatoes), chorizo (it was so delicious it didn't even make it to the photo 🤤), grilled longaniza (a type of sausage), local cheese, and local pâtés. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended if you're traveling with young children, as there's a playground and swings right next to the restaurant.
The restaurant is very nice, cozy, and we ate on the terrace, which was very pleasant. They told us they're open year-round. The food was good; we really liked the ribs. The Monte Valonsadero Natural Park is a great place to see trails, animals, and more. A beautiful area. We stopped because it was on our way, and it was great. We ate, rested, and continued our journey. P.S. The photos look a little yellow because we were under the awning.
We went here on a recommendation, and wow, it was excellent! We were going for some Soria torreznos and ended up ordering a complete dish, some Moruno skewers, patatas bravas, a portion of loin, and some chicken quirikos. Everything was delicious, with large portions just enough to share. The service was excellent, and the place is very pretty. Plus, it's located (Cerro de Valonsadero) in an area perfect for spending the day doing different activities with friends or family, or even alone.
It's a classic. The life of a Sorian resident takes place there. My childhood is linked to watching Manoli, the wife of guard Hermógenes, prepare a "completo" (a complete dish) made with egg, chorizo, and pork loin. Delicious food, a huge glass of beer and soda, and pork rinds, all under the majestic Pico Frentes. A mountain to enjoy walks and then savor those delicious dishes in the open air, now revamped by new chefs.
This place is always packed, even in winter (there must be a reason). It's a great spot for adults and children alike, with so much open space and parks. The service is very fast. I only tried the torreznos (fried pork belly) and croquettes, but they were fantastic.
Good place and their torreznos are very good
Typical restaurant in Valonsadero, Soria. We went without a reservation and they made room for us in no time. They served us quickly and the food was very good. We will be back soon.
The food is good, the service is excellent, and the place is beautiful; it's definitely worth it, especially for the little ones, although the adults have a great time too!
Everything was delicious.
We expected all of this, and it was truly amazing. Excellent service, good steak, great pork rinds, and an incomparable setting. And what can I say about the custard? It was amazing.
Pleasant atmosphere and country-style food. Highly recommended... I'm just including a photo of the dessert, delicious by the way...
One of the best stews.
Very good products in the bar and restaurant. The famous torreznos are delicious, "whistled fresh," a tremendous bite; also the potato omelet, and they have sandwiches. Professional, friendly, and energetic waiters. The place has a wood-burning fireplace that gives a special warmth to the atmosphere in cold weather. It's located in the middle of the Valonsadero Natural Park. Near Soria, a 5-minute drive along the Burgos road. Nature and a variety of animals in the park, such as horses, birds, bulls, and cows. It's a perfect place to spend the day with the kids, and they also have a beautiful park next to the bar-restaurant where they can play and have fun. The restaurant is incredible; the chefs know what they're doing. I recommend the ribs.
Great, as always
One of the best places to eat in Soria. Simple, well-prepared, and affordable food. It's a very family-friendly atmosphere. The place is beautiful. Always packed, but the efficient waiters ensure fast service and you don't have to wait long. If you're traveling with a dog, this is the place to go.
A charming, cozy restaurant nestled in the heart of Valonsadero Mountains, a historic spot in the Soriano area. Well-prepared food and excellent service. Ideal for families and groups who enjoy a natural setting and home-cooked food at a good price.
It's simple: Amazing! The complete meal is a must-try, the ribs were so tender they practically melted in your mouth, and the desserts were absolutely fantastic. All this in a truly unique setting.
Generous, high-quality dishes. Service is more than adequate. And all in a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Soria. Highly recommended. The torreznos are unbeatable!
A very pleasant place, the waiters are polite, and the grilled food is very good. The price is the best part.
The place is perfect for lunch on a sunny day. The service was excellent, attentive, and quick. Plus, the surroundings are perfect for a stroll after your meal. We ordered torreznos (crispy pork belly), which were delicious, ventresca (tuna belly) salad, and exquisite lamb chops. We'll definitely be back! 😉
Homemade food and a good place to take a walk and see cave paintings.
A place on the outskirts of Soria that we discovered through Instagram and returned to (we'd already been there during Holy Week) for cocido (a traditional Spanish stew). I think they only serve it on Thursdays, and it was absolutely delicious! 😋 You have to try it!! They also have à la carte dishes; in fact, one of the people who ate there ordered a grilled meat dish from the menu, which was also very good. The place is great if you're going with children because they have a huge playground where they can play, and the parents can linger after their meal and enjoy the terrace if they like. Plus, there's no problem with parking! Oh! And a big thank you to the girl, I think she's from Albacete, who served me an almond milk latte!! 😉 (I have lactose intolerance).
A great place to eat or have a snack in a pleasant natural setting at reasonable prices, while enjoying the delicious torreznos (fried pork rinds) from Soria. A must-visit. This is highly recommended for children due to the pleasant green areas, gardens, groves, and mountains surrounding it, as well as the playgrounds. The menu may seem limited, but the mixed dishes, salads, meats, and desserts are well thought out. The portions are adequate, and the grilled lamb chops and the complete menu (egg, chorizo, pork loin, and potatoes) are particularly noteworthy. It's fun to order drinks in large jugs to share, which can be a source of laughter for those less skilled with it. It has a large terrace, with an indoor and outdoor bar area, and a covered dining room with ample seating. It's advisable to book in advance if you plan to go with large groups. The staff is attentive and efficient, although depending on the restaurant's capacity, it may take a little longer than expected to serve tables or take orders. In short, a highly recommended place, although not entirely perfect.
A beautiful spot in Soria. Valonsadero. The staff provided outstanding service. Very attentive and quick. Excellent value. Fantastic.
This is an excellent place not only because the food they serve and how quick they are serving it but how beautiful is that surrounding but also because he's got free parking and lots and lots of activities to do around playground for kids lots of bike tracks walking tracks and picnics areas Wild horses wild animals excellent place highly recommended
A beautiful place to enjoy nature and good traditional homemade food. The service is fast and friendly, and the prices are affordable. The best torreznos in Soria.
Very good food at a good price
A place to come for a drink or a meal is a must.
Fast and good service. Very good food.
Located in a quiet area with gardens planted with fruit trees and a children's area to keep the little ones entertained after lunch, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing after-dinner meal after enjoying the menu, which is full of delicious dishes and excellent grilled meats.
An idyllic spot, nestled in a spectacular park with a green area. Ideal for families with children and pets. Fast service. Delicious food. We ordered tapas and it was fantastic.
Everything was delicious, really... some outrageous torreznos, a salad of piquillo peppers with belly, some grilled lamb chops and grilled ribs that there are no words that can describe how delicious everything was. One hundred percent recommended.
An ideal place to spend the afternoon with the little ones in the family.
Busy on weekends. Plenty of space for kids to run. Recommended torreznos and braces... With a cold beer porrón.
Very good, both the food and the desserts.
Good place to eat grilled meat.
A magnificent place to eat in the countryside. The pork belly was amazing, the cheese and nut salad was delicious, and the ribs were tasty. Highly recommended.
A natural setting. Great food. Very good price. And the staff's attention is unbeatable. Thank you for your kind attention to us and our dog.
Celiac in Spain!!!! If you can travel and eat in Spain, and in a little corner like this, a visit is a must.
We had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant, surrounded by a wonderful landscape, all green, full of nature and tranquility. The place is truly beautiful, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a good meal outdoors or in a cozy setting. One of the great things about it is that it's fully adapted for people with celiac disease. They have very thoughtful gluten-free options, including gluten-free bread and beer, which is greatly appreciated. The food overall was excellent: tasty, well-presented, and with safe and varied options for those who must avoid gluten. As a point for improvement, the gluten-free bread they offer was a little stale; it probably needed a little more baking to be perfect. And the service, while friendly, was somewhat slow—although understandable considering the relaxed pace of the place. In short, it's a highly recommended place if you're looking for good food, a spectacular natural setting, and an inclusive space for celiacs. We will definitely return!
The best torreznos I've ever eaten (also known as Soria energy bars)
It's in a beautiful place, perfect for relaxing. Valonsadero
A great place to go with kids and have a snack, including torreznos.
Excellent, the most delicious lamb chops I've ever eaten!
Highly recommended. The best ribs I've ever had.
Very cool place!
Fast and everything very good.
Idyllic setting. Very fast and friendly service. Perfect value for money. Salad with 3 large portions of bonito tuna. Delicious Moorish kebabs with spicy sauce. Ribs with meat so tender it practically fell apart. Not very big, about 7 ribs served with fries. Ice-cold beer in pitchers. They brought water for our dog several times. Highly recommended. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, biking, etc.
Fast service, simple but very tasty typical dishes.
We ate wonderfully. Quality quantity and good price.
A traditional restaurant in Soria, located in the Valonsadero mountains. Its menu features typical dishes from what was once the ranger's house. A recommended spot for a day in the countryside.
They continue in their line, fast service, good food, acceptable prices and good attention, I leave some photos of a couple of dishes we ordered.
A spectacular place full of charm in an exceptional setting. Very professional service and reasonable prices. The torreznos are amazing, and you'll have to make a reservation even if it's not the weekend.
Excellent place to go with children. You can have a picnic or eat at the restaurant. The restaurant is highly recommended.
A very pleasant recreation area. Simple but tasty dishes. Good prices. Fast, efficient, and friendly service.
A place surrounded by nature and affordable
We stopped at this rest area for lunch and had a coffee at the La Casa del Guarda bar-restaurant. It's located in a beautiful, green area with children's play areas. The staff is very friendly and professional. The bathrooms are spotless. It's a pleasure, we'll be back.
Every summer in Soria, it's a must-visit. Happiness in the form of pork ribs!
One of our favorite places in Soria, located in the heart of nature. They say the best torrezno is served here.
100% recommended, if you come to Soria you have to come eat here, a must stop
It's cozy, with very pleasant staff and many years of experience. The menu is short but very, very, very good.
A charming place
Do you like clean air? And simple food, like fried eggs? Then I recommend it. If not, stay home.
Excellent value for money. Typical local products, chorizo, ribs... They have a set menu for €12. Main courses include Russian salad, green salad, or soup, and main courses include chorizo with fried eggs or grilled pork loin. The best are the homemade desserts, including the exquisite cream cake with condensed milk, the drunken cakes, and the nougat cake. Four of us and a daughter ate with a drink, dessert, and coffee for €60. And outside, there's a large park for the kids to run and play, with a game of goose on the ground. Thank you!
The torreznos are incredible!!!
Every time we travel north, we return through Soria for two reasons: first, to avoid Madrid (due to its heavy traffic and tolls), and second, to eat at this restaurant. You can't miss the torreznos and ribs. The setting is wonderful for disconnecting from the road and the city.
Simply fantastic. In a super relaxing setting with lots of grass. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. We were disappointed we didn't get to try the ribeye steak. I'll be back.
A great place to come for typical Soria dishes, like their pork rinds and sausages. Simple but excellent cuisine. Good service and a well-maintained location, ideal for coming with children.
A must-see. A huge glass of beer, torrenillos, and chorizo. Very good!
Located in a unique location; Mount Valonsadero. Good quality/price ratio.
Excellent restaurant located in El Monte Valonsadero. Simple menu, but everything is good quality and reasonably priced. The service is quick. Must-try dishes: the torreznos (fried pork belly), the ribs, and the rum-soaked sponge cakes. It's highly recommended to book in advance as it's usually full.
They're no longer a restaurant; now it's a small, ordinary mansion that you can visit. The setting is spectacular, and 2 km away is La Fuentona, a quality hiking spot with stunning views and a trail. It belongs to the village of Muriel de la Fuente. Parking at La Fuentona costs €4. The first parking lot is free; the second charges a fee. The first and second parking lots are about a 600-700 m walk away.
If you like meat, this is your restaurant. There's a wide variety, and everything is freshly grilled. You can also order other cold options to complement your meal. We loved the sausage, the ribs, and the foie gras. The restaurant is located on a large estate with plenty of garden space and spacious terraces. Due to the large number of customers, you may experience a bit of waiting time or orders may bounce around, but it's not a big deal. The staff is very friendly and doesn't stop for a single second. There's plenty of parking outside the premises.
Located in a dreamy natural setting, in the heart of the Valonsadero Mountains, this restaurant offers a gastronomic experience with a setting that's hard to match. The atmosphere is undoubtedly one of its greatest strengths: eating surrounded by nature, with an ideal temperature on the terrace, turns any meal into a moment of relaxation and enjoyment. The terrace is spacious and very pleasant, perfect for a leisurely meal al fresco. As for the service, there were some shortcomings. On several occasions—four, to be exact—we were offered drinks and dishes meant for other tables, which gave a feeling of disorganization. Furthermore, the drinks took a long time to arrive, when they are usually served before the dishes are presented, and they were placed on the table even after the tuna belly salad was served. Fortunately, it was perfectly prepared: fresh, well-dressed, and made with quality ingredients. The ribeye steak, advertised as the star dish, arrived impeccably presented on an extremely hot plate, a welcome touch. However, the quality of the meat didn't live up to expectations, falling slightly short of what was promised. Finally, the mixed dessert was a pleasant surprise: tasty, varied, and carefully presented. In short, a pleasant experience thanks to the privileged setting and some outstanding dishes, although there is room for improvement in customer service and the quality of the signature dish. Ideal for those looking to unwind and dine surrounded by nature.
I don't think anyone can say anything bad about this place. Very fast service (but always with a reservation). The place is fantastic, but what interests us is the food: appetizers, starters, salads, and top-notch grilled meats. The ribs may stand out above the rest, but everything is fantastic. Perhaps because of the time of year or because there aren't any other options nearby, the prices are a bit steep for the quantity of some dishes. €12 for four chops, for example, is outrageous.
Delicious food at a good price. I recommend the cheese toasts and the stew croquettes.
Good prices and good products. We arrived late, but they still served us. The place is beautiful, nestled in a natural setting with animals and hiking trails. The service is good and they serve us quickly.
Good. Simple food at a good price, in a beautiful natural setting.
Valonsadero is a great place. A great spot for all kinds of outdoor activities. The Guard House is in an excellent location. Soria produce is uncomplicated. Ideal for lunch, a snack...
A pleasant place to enjoy lunch/dinner. A beautiful place, both spectacularly outside and inside. The menu is adequate in quantity and price. The torreznos are very good, as are the sausage and pâté. A real success.
Excellent service and everything was great. Quick service. Everything was perfect with a table reservation made days in advance by phone.
A quiet place to spend some time. The Torreznos are good and very tasty. A must-visit if you visit Soria. Plenty of shade if you want to have a picnic or just lie down.
Spectacular setting. Since I was a child, the quality has gone down and the price has gone up. Now we go there to eat torreznos, taking advantage of the peacefulness of the place. The ribs used to be delicious; I don't know if they'll stay the same with the change of owners. Ideal for going with children.
I come to Soria at least once a year, and I always try to have a meal here. I get pork rinds and a complete menu. The service isn't great; they're not very friendly on the phone; on-site, they try hard. What I eat is fine, but the price is a bit expensive for what you get.
Good place for lunch for both mountain and road cyclists
A must-visit if you want to eat well, at a good price, in a beautiful setting.
Excellent place to eat outdoors and very well priced.
The steak was delicious, and the combo was also incredible. The pork rinds have been better in the past; they weren't freshly prepared, but we had a great dinner!
I'm changing my opinion since last time. They've changed quite a bit. We had a very good dinner. Chicken fingers, kirikos; chicharros, bao buns; burrada salad; and fried eggs. Very well prepared. Delicious. The service was good, and the kitchen was fast. A pleasant surprise. I've been going since I was a kid, and the menu has improved in variety and quality, maintaining its usual "completeness." I'm raising my rating.
Perfect for a summer getaway, enjoying a meal on the terrace surrounded by nature. In winter, it's very cold, and eating outside seems complicated. The food is very simple and traditional (eggs, bacon, chorizo, pork loin, salads, Iberian cured meats, etc.). The prices are affordable, and the service is friendly. The best thing, without a doubt, is the setting, surrounded by nature, horses, and so on. Next to the restaurant, there's a children's play area and picnic tables. Recommended for families!
The food was very good and the setting very pleasant. The desserts leave much to be desired; you're better off ordering ice cream.
An enviable setting, ideal for families and children, very well maintained.
It's a charming place. Located in Valonsadero, surrounded by trees and a meadow where you can eat whatever you order if you don't want to eat in the restaurant itself. Their menu is based on meat, although they also have salads, etc. If you go, you have to order torreznos, although the chorizo and potatoes are also essential for me.
Mainly a menu of tapas, everything very well made, fresh and very well served, we were happy.
I went on a fairly peaceful and quiet Thursday, surrounded by my parents and great-uncles, Anamari and Manolo. I was feeling moderately hungry, having devoured a torrezno like a champion half an hour earlier. To start, we ordered two salads: one with tuna belly and the other with burrata cheese. The cheese salad had a red berry reduction with small pieces of peach, and the contrast was stunning. Next, we ordered authentic and outrageously tasty torreznos. My father had ribs, and the rest of us had lamb chops. The bathroom is clean, and what's really worth it is the location, located in Valonsadero, a spectacular place to spend the day.
Everything was delicious and good value for money. We even called the same day to add two more people to our reservation, and they were happy to accommodate us. I'm not giving it 5 stars because they ran out of the famous Soria-style fried pork belly, which is a bit of a disappointment if you're traveling specifically to try it. Otherwise, everything was fantastic, both the main courses and the desserts.
Very cool outdoor terrace. The surroundings are set against Valonsadero Park. It's very comfortable. Fast service, great price, and great quality.
Good food in the heart of nature. Good steak, accompanied by potatoes and roasted red peppers, pretty poor. Average salad. Delicious cheesecake. A jug of original beer.
A traditional spot ideal for eating and enjoying nature, with plenty of space for children to play. It's very crowded, which is normal given the charming location.
A landmark in Soria, and therefore a must-visit. It boasts a privileged location in the heart of the mountains, yet is only five minutes from the city. The menu isn't extensive, featuring mainly grilled meats. Everything is delicious. The torreznos (fried pork belly) here are unique because they're made with pork jowl. Highly recommended!
Highly recommended. We thought the food was fantastic. If you're going with children, it's a great place for them to play afterward. There's a playground with swings and a large fenced garden.
Whenever I go, we order longaniza, grilled and delicious. Bravas are good, and the burger is also very good. The only drawback is that we ordered three dishes to share, and they brought them all at once, so we had to eat all three quickly so they wouldn't get cold. Other times, I recommend torreznos, the combo, and the pâté board. It's an ideal place to find peace and quiet on a nice day, and on a bad day, the fireplace in the middle of the restaurant is perfect!
There's no weekend menu, as we'd read online. The menu is very basic. The only grilled option is lamb chops, and that's what we chose. The meat was perfect. The bravas were delicious but not very spicy. The tuna and pepper salad was bland. We asked for Modena vinegar for the tuna belly, and since they didn't have it, they offered us Modena reduction, which improved the dish. The place is ideal for families with children, and we were lucky enough to get a quiet corner seat on the terrace.
A restaurant that has seen better days, I'm sure. The service was spectacular from all the servers, to the point that they even let us bring our dog into the dining room (they only do so if the dog is well-behaved and calm). The cold cuts starter features good cheese, a very ordinary ham, and an equally standard pâté. The salad was good. However, the steak didn't quite convince us. Recommended for the price, but there are better places in the province.
Grilled food, average quality, they were super fast and friendly but the food was average quality... and it's not cheap for the amount they serve.
Delicious pork belly, very slow service
The restaurant is okay. What's really worth it is the surroundings. Getting there from Soria by bike and having a drink on the terrace is priceless. Avoid it on peak days and times.
The place is spectacular...but the tapas are a bit weak. They do serve a lot of it, though. Maybe ordering from the menu will improve it. The terrace is great sipping a beer.
A long-established spot in Soria. Since they had to cut down the surrounding grove (because the trees were diseased and at risk of falling), it's lost much of its charm. Now in summer, since there are no longer any tall trees, it gets quite hot. In winter, it's a welcome respite. As for the food, it's a typical place where children can eat very well.
It's been a while since Hermogenes and Manolita started a traditional restoration in an exceptional natural setting. Now it's very commercialized, but nature hasn't changed. They still serve the full meals (see photo). The old grilled food is now disguised with something that's not even remotely similar. Good place. Quality is declining. A shame about globalization.
The bar-restaurant La Casa del Guarda is located in an idyllic spot, in the Valonsadero meadow, a few kilometers from Soria, on the Burgos road. I've been there almost every year, but now it's changed owners... and for a much worse time, by the way. The best thing about La Casa del Guarda is its location, in the middle of the meadow, and most of the people who go there come to be on the large terrace, in contact with nature. I don't think many people want to go there just to be locked inside a restaurant. The current owners of the restaurant do everything they can to make those who come to eat stay inside the restaurant, since they only have six or eight tables on the terrace, which are obviously always reserved. Meanwhile, on the rest of the terrace, they don't let anyone eat even if it's empty. God gives teeth to those who don't want to eat. If it weren't for their location, these people would have gone bankrupt a long time ago. Cleanliness is also conspicuous by its lack of quality: the terrace is covered in pine cones and leaves from days ago. No one has swept there in weeks. As for the food, the menu is sparse and limited. The dishes are tasty because they're grilled, and few items don't taste good grilled, but the dishes are more like portions than set meals. Furthermore, the menu is so limited that they're even served on small dessert or appetizer plates. It's also true that the prices are affordable: For 8 or 9 euros, you can't ask for much. In short: An idyllic place wasted, only suitable for a getaway. Better to just order some tapas and get out of there.
Nice space
We had an appetizer at this restaurant, a couple of beers that we accompanied with a portion of torrezno, which left something to be desired because it was very refried and the bread was hard.
I'm sorry, but I didn't like it. I'd swear the 1kg steak was defrosted in an emergency... I was fine with it. They don't know much about anything, and on top of that, they're expensive at €43. Anyway, I felt bad about leaving Soria for this. The place was pretty average...
A pitiful place, both for the service and the food. I stopped there precisely because of its good reviews, and I couldn't have been more wrong. To set the scene: 10:40 in the morning on an empty Saturday, just two people ordering a coffee. Being in Soria, I ordered a torrezno, obviously. The torrezno was dry and from at least the day before, not freshly made. And to top it all off, it was served on a "frozen" plate, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge (hence the situation yesterday). They simply heated the torrezno, and between the fact that it was half-lukewarm and the plate was cold, it was a disaster. To top it all off, I ordered some patatas bravas... In the photo, you can see what a disaster these patatas bravas were... also pitiful, just ordinary fries with industrial mayonnaise and a bit of tomato sauce... I'm not going to say the staff were unpleasant because they weren't, but they were unprofessional. To give you an idea, I didn't have the courage to finish the "papas bravas" because they were so plain and, incidentally, half-cold. To avoid offending the kitchen staff, I asked for a Tupperware to take with me. To my surprise, they handed me the empty Tupperware so I could put the potatoes in anywhere. They're the ones who do this work for you, which I think is the most normal thing to do. By the way, as soon as you leave, there's a trash can there; if you want to search, the Tupperware with the disgusting potatoes will still be there. All this plus a Coca-Cola for €13 seems like a fair price to me if the product is good and the service is decent, but given the lack of professionalism of the staff, coupled with the poor quality of the product, it's definitely a rip-off. Of course, the location is a very beautiful setting and a place to spend a good Saturday morning, but definitely don't go into that bar for anything, just a coffee or a soft drink.
It used to be one of my favorite places in Soria, but since the change of owners, they've changed the menu, significantly increased the prices, and the quality has declined. A real shame.
