Incredible Food & Even Better Vibes! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing meal here and I’m already dreaming about my next visit! If you’re looking for authentic flavors and a huge variety, this is the spot. We tried a little bit of everything, and it did not disappoint: * The Orange Chicken & Wings: Both were perfectly crispy and tossed in the most flavorful sauces. The wings are a must-order appetizer! * The Fried Rice & Curry: These are the heart of the menu. The fried rice was seasoned perfectly, and the curry was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of heat. The service was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. This is definitely my new go-to neighborhood spot. Highly recommend!

We are Tahoe locals and love coming to Orchids. The food is always delicious, and the waiters are very kind. One other aspect about Orchids that we really appreciate is the quick service time. They prepare amazing food very quickly.

It’s always a risk getting non-American food in Tahoe.. but this place did not disappoint! Food was great and authentic. After a long few days of backpacking, I was really craving Thai food. I ordered take out and got pad Thai with prawns and chicken green curry. Taste and quality is similar to what you would get in the Bay Area. The only slight complaint was that the pad Thai was a little oily. Otherwise, portion sizes were massive and reasonably priced. Will be returning!

Food is DELICIOUS and reasonably priced for the large portion size. The venue is conveniently located yet beautiful and peaceful inside. Honestly came straight to here while eating to promote it because it's THAT good. I got the beef stir fry, my wife got duck stir fry and our son got chicken wings and an avocado roll and it's all scrumptious. Highly recommend.

Delicious and authentic Thai food! The Pad Thai was flavorful, the yellow curry was rich and perfect with rice, and the drinks were refreshing. Friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth coming back!

Had lunch here with the family. Nice atmosphere. Stuff is super friendly. We had mango curry and fried rice. Both were perfect. Thai tea was refreshing.

Came here on december 2024, and loved it!!! We returned to Lake Tahoe for summer and eating here is a MUST✨! Got the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Pad See Ew and Shrimp Red Curry, and everything was delicious 🤤 Definitely recommend if you like Thai Food 🥰

Great quite spot. Wife and I stopped here after a beach day. Interior is very cozy and welcoming. The staff are super super friendly and will help with any questions about the menu. We order yellow curry(chicken), basil fried rice(pork belly), pad kee mao(pork belly), and spicy basil(pork belly). Holy crap this place is amazing tasting. There wasn't a single thing we were on the fence about, I do not like to eat curry at all. However the yellow curry here is very tasty! I would order the spicy basil and the basil fried rice them mixed together is amazing.

While visiting Nevada, we struggled to find any standout dining options. So, we decided to explore a few spots on the California side of Stateline. We came across three Thai restaurants, but what sold me on this one was the fried fish — and it did not disappoint. Honestly, I’m not sure why this place has lower ratings than the others. It serves authentic Thai cuisine, full of flavor and care. On our first visit, we ordered the fried fish (extra crispy), white rice, papaya salad (Thai style), and Thai tea. (No pictures, unfortunately — we were too excited and hungry, lol.) But I can assure you, not a single bite was left. The fish was cooked beautifully: crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. The rice was perfectly steamed, and the papaya salad was vibrant, fresh, and packed with flavor. The next day, we couldn’t decide where to eat — so we went back! This time, we tried the Crab Rangoons, Pad Thai with shrimp, Tom Yum soup with shrimp, and Thai tea again. (Yes, we finally took pictures!) Every dish was delicious. The Pad Thai was fresh and tasted almost exactly like what you’d find in Thailand. The Tom Yum was everything my body needed to recharge — warm, comforting, and full of balanced flavors. The tomatoes in the soup stood out in the best way. These are great choices for first-time visitors. And again, the Thai tea was smooth, fresh, and not overly sweet. We’re already planning to return in the future to try more dishes. Plus, they have a charming little marketplace with Thai goodies available for purchase — a nice bonus! Keep in mind: the restaurant gets very busy, and there’s often a waitlist. To avoid the rush, I recommend going earlier in the day. The service was excellent both times we visited, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend — this spot is a gem for anyone craving real Thai food near Stateline.

If you want to have experience with amazing Thai cuisine, that is a place to absolutely do! The food was great, fresh and delicious ! My husband and I ordered Large Tom Yum, with beef (I thought it should be a coconut milk based) it was tomato based. It still was a great dish for a cold, rainy day! I also ordered Red Curry Duck with the brown rice. It was a big portion as well and very tasty! My husband ordered the Pad Thai. When it comes to Thai food, he's a snob. He was very pleased with the quality of Pad Thai! We will definitely return to this restaurant! I would also like to note the excellent service, atmosphere and friendly waitresses. Also, before our orders came, they brought delicious treats - tofu soup with some sort of fries.

My family and I stopped by Orchid’s Authentic Thai and overall we were happy with the food. It was flavorful, fresh, and really hit the spot after a long day of exploring. The steamed dumplings 🥟 and Pad Kee Maw (with shrimp and tofu) really stood out in particular, both packed with authentic taste and generous portions. The food was brought to the table at really staggered/awkward times; with my starter arriving 15 minutes before my husband’s, and it was the same with the entree!!! The service wasn’t bad per se, just very slow and inattentive at times, for instance I had to get up to ask where I drinks orders were - and ask for refills with our water. This took away from the overall dining experience.
