A South Miami establishment they've been serving for many years!
6 plus. Love this place. Excelente food and friendly atmosphere.
We had our company holiday lunch, everything was excellent specially the Grand Marnier" Soufflé, Orange Marmalade for dessert! ⭐️ ✨ ⭐️
Very elegant flavor and thoughtful cuisine🍴. The tuna tartare was delightful and very fresh. The French onion soup is a must-have. I'm glad I have great cuisine so close to my area. The bar also had excellent, well-made drinks.
Exceptional Service. Had a signature dish. Chicken Thigh Chops with mushroom risotto. I include a picture of the presentation which was amazing but it tasted even better than it looked. Perfectly seasoned and juicy. They used bacon to wrap the asparagus.🤤
Went here for lunch. I ordered the lump crab cakes, meat loaf and tea. The meat loaf has asparagus in the middle. The crab cakes came with another great. I will have to check the menu. It was quiet at lunch. The atmosphere looked good the ambiance is definitely more geared to dinner time. Will need to check if they have a dinner menu. I do recommend
Wow I’ve always wanted to eat at this place called Two Chefs but never made it there finally my wife and I made it there this place is amazing from the time I walked in and was greeted by the maître d’ everything was superb Everything from the shrimp cocktail to the salad to the New York strip on believable all the food was flavorful tender and delicious if you’re in Broward it’s worth the drive you can make it there in 30 minutes don’t miss out on this wonderful dining room and wonderful food experience this place also has cooking classes and special events look them up on the web and see what this place is all about from one foodie to another
We did the cooking class with a group of 35 and it was amazing.I got to cook pizza which is awesome cause I love pizza and never cooked it in a restaurant even though I grew up working in Italian restaurants. we saw other guest cookings lots of other delicious foods too. Such a memorable experience and we loved it. Food was incredible and wait staff just perfect. This is a must do as a couple or group of friends and fam...
I was surprised at how nice the place was. You can't tell from the outside. The food was great but the souffles were amazing. They offer cooking classes as well which seems like a good experience.
Blown away. We ordered Miami Spice and each of the 3 dishes were amazing. Juan at the bar is extremely funny and suggests good drinks/food, recommended the meat loaf and pork chop which where both 10/10. The soufflés were phenomenal, held up the same as you would see on Food Network. Will be back ASAP.
The soufflé was fantastic, and the bartender really knows what he’s doing. Great vibes all around! Will be back again!!!
Place has amazing food! Went there for dinner with family and had Tuna dish, it was delicious!! Everyone was happy with their choices!
Since my birthday lands during Miami Spice (August and September), I look forward to celebrating at Two Chefs every year. Their tuna tartare appetizer w house potato chips is out of this world, as are the soufflés - ask for a side of chocolate sauce, for some reason they no longer include it unless you ask. The salmon, branzino and chicken entrees are tasty. They had a great pork entree that they took out of the menu, hope they bring it back. When Chef Jan is present, food is consistently some of the best in Miami.
I brought my wife and 3 kids here on a Friday night for my son's birthday. It was busy but we were seated right away. The service was very attentive and courteous. The food was delicious and nicely prepared. The souffles were excellent and very timely, the kids absolutely love them. We had reservation and it avoided any waiting. This was not my first visit to this restaurant and it has been consistently good through the years.
Excellent food. They also offer pic three menu that has a tremendous variety of their menu. The service was great the atmosphere was pleasant. Most customer appear to be regular locals. Highly recommend.
Exceptional place for fine dining at night as well as private meetings. Great environment for business-person's lunch. They have the best burger in town and a truly extraordinary chicken sandwich...and it's hard for me to get enthusiastic about a chicken sandwich. Nice homemade chips too.
The food is here is excellent. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Ive been here for lunch and dinner a few times now and the quality of food and service has been consistent. If you stop by for lunch try the chicken sandwich. I Highly recommend Two Chefs!
The best onion soup I have tried and the soufflés are incredible. We liked the vanilla soufflé better than the chocolate one. Enjoy this delicious food during Miami Spice.
We eat at this Two Chefs at least once a month, always excellent food and service. Our server is normally Angel but all staff is attentive and courteous. The Chef also holds cooking classes. Great menu, fine dining in very nice atmosphere for couples or separate room for large parties.
I would love to say that this place is amazing. The staff is so welcoming and make you feel at home. Very attentive to their customers. The food as EXCEPTIONAL! The crab cake is one to try. I would definetly recommend to friends and will come again.
Phenomenal food. Great service. Have to get the souffle for dessert.
One of our top favorite restaurants in Miami! Two Chefs is delicious, and the service is always wonderful. You can’t beat the soufflés!
We had a great time - the food was wonderful, the chefs were great and the service was excellent. It was my second time arranging a company event here - and we had just as much fun this time as the last time. The cooking classes were a lot of fun, and we all walked away with great experiences. We will definitely be back .. Thank you to the entire staff that made it possible!
One of the best restaurants in Miami. The food is fresh, flavorful and delicious. We have been going to Two Chefs regularly for many years and the food and service is consistently great. Highly recommend!
The food, the bar, the ambiance, the service were all excellent, beyond expectations! Would love to come back to Two Chefs! 💜 We had a really great night, many thanks to Mr. Migue and the rest of the staff! 🥰
This is my favorite local lunch spot. Not only is it a cozy restaurant which harkens back to New York deli‘s of old, the soups they sell are second to none. I am elated that they are still going strong through the pandemic. It’s vital that we as a community take care of this beloved local gem.
Had a special birthday dinner here. The service is always friendly and helpful, atmosphere is comfortable and the food is delicious!
The food is always fresh and delicious. I love their Branzino. You get two fish filet with a crispy skin and crispy fried onion over petit potatoes. The appetizers and desserts are also delicious. I highly recommend two chefs for a couples dinner out.
I went for the Miami Spice Lunch. I had the shrimp with pasta and it was outstanding! The chocolate souffle was out of this world too. I just so enjoyed the lunch. I hope to go back soon!
Went here to celebrate my birthday with some friends and this restaurant did not disappoint. Nice place and delicious food.
What a neighborhood gem! My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely dinner together at Two Chefs. We ordered the Caesar salad, mushroom flatbread and the baked onion soup to start. It was absolutely delicious! For our entrees we enjoyed the New York Strip Steak and the Fettuccine dish. While the pasta was tasty, the steak was cooked to perfection! The star of dinner was the chocolate soufflé. We will come back again and again!
This is neighborhood gem !! Jose the executive chef has made some incredible additions to the menu. Today we had a tuna steak with roasted yellow beets , shrimp and spinach. The presentation was perfect but the flavor was delightful. If you haven’t been here lately, you need to return, new and exciting changes happening at Two Chefs kitchen ! Oh I almost forgot, the mushroom flatbread was light and crispy and loaded with flavor!! I’m obsessed!!
This is a 5 star restaurant, service is great, ambience is quiet and calm, and food is wonderful, specially the burgers, one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried, also the soufflés are delicious, tried the Grand Maniere and it was 10/10. Have to go back and try the other soufflés. I really recommend it!
Been here a couple of times and its always been great. Chicken thighs chops are amazing. The soufflé is out of this world.
We did Miami Spice. It was a great experience, though we all ate too much. Portions are very generous. Service superb. Will be back!
First time back for dinner in a few years, as I moved out of the area. Party of five, we all ordered the Miami Spice items. My Caesar salad was awful, all white ribs of lettuce and a scant portion of weak dressing. No tang, no anchovies, no nothing. Really a must-avoid. Meatloaf, on the other hand, was excellent. Very tasty, and portion big enough to take home. Others at our table had Chicken Thigh Chop (delicious), Shrimp pasta (so-so), Fettuccini Bolognese (nothing special), Tuna Tartare (one good review, one bad). Service was spotty at best. Seemed like everyone and no one was assigned to our table at the same time. So entrees came by runner, who left before we could ask for pepper/cheese/whatever. Then we had to flag down someone else to give us that. BIGGEST TURNOFF: wine is outrageously expensive. I don’t mind twice retail, can even stomach a little more. But this list is at 3+ times retail! I’m talking NZ Sauvignon Blanc brands retailing for $15-20 listed at $66-$101! Huge turnoff, but with a party of five celebrating a birthday, you have to get wine. So easily half of our total check of $80/person was wine, completely negating the Miami Spice savings. I guess that’s how they compensate. Desserts: they are famous for their soufflés, which you should order at the outset (included in Miami Spice). They are all very delicious, and we’re the highlight of the evening. Bottom line: good enough entrees, order appetizers carefully, enjoy the soufflés, and STAY OFF THE WINE LIST.
Miami spice lunch menu was reasonable. Food was good. Service was excellent. Deserts (real souffles!) were spectacular. The chocolate sauce was plentiful and powerful. Super delicious! I'd easily go back just for that.
Great food and ambiance. The staff is amazing as well. I have been coming here for my anniversary for 6 years and am never disappointed. It can get a bit pricey but for a special night out it is very worth it. Oh and the souffles!! AMAZING!! That alone is reason enough to come to this restaurant.
The meat loaf was great but the mash potatoes was rather plain. The meal was lukewarm. My friend had their hamburger. It was huge and the presentation was very nice. The wait staff was also wonderful
Stuck in South Miami for an evening I looked for a close Miami Spice menu that looked interesting. This place was kind enough to seat me without a reservation. First course was French onion soup which was delicious. Main course was seared tuna with pasta and fresh peas. Delicious amd perfectly cooked. For dessert I upgraded to the pistachio soufle. Something went off the rails between the main course and leaving. My dessert arrived after a long wait but I understand everyone wanted souflees and there is only so much oven space. I ate my dessert and still my server had disappeared. I placed a bill on the table implying that I was done. That didn't seem to matter. I think she was on break. Finally after asking another server to get my bill she brought it then disappeared for a very uncomfortable time. For reference I got there at 630 and didn't leave until 9. When she finally brought my change the time between main and change has been over an hour. I asked what went wrong and she said she didn't have change. Umm. I have credit cards but thought cash was king. What had started as a nice evening derailed.
Food is delicious, however I am giving 2 stars because of the bad manners of the waitress. This is the fifth time for dinner presentation and always the same waitress that gave us a hard time. Very bad experience. This time I will find out his name.
Ordered Butter Nut Squash soup and was brought a bean soup. After a complain the waiter say "we don't have Butter Nut Squash " so I brought you the bean soup. If you ask about Miami Spice offers you are treated as a second class customer. Food and service took for ever. It looks good on paper and WEB, but, it was not a pleasant dinner experience. We found waiter and manager - RUDE. This was my second and last visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food okay but the service has fallen to an insulting level. Ten years ago I had a good experience but after our meal last month I am done with this place. First the food was okay not particularly good but not bad. What was bad was the attitude and service of the staff. I haven't experienced such poor care in many years. Also forget about gluten free anything
I've had several lunches at Two Chefs in the past that were very pleasurable. We decided to have dinner with another couple last week. The tuna special was awful. Two of us ordered it and had to send it back because it was not fresh. Very fishy. I was disappointed.
Invited friends to eat the best hamburger in town, only to be disappointed by the burnt crust and dryness of the burgers. To be fair, this is the first time I’ve been disappointed here, but it was pretty lousy. Great service etc
One of the worst dining experience ever. The owner is a complete pompous ass. He gets upset if you complain when you get bad service. Never again will I visit this arrogant idiot place of business. I feel sorry for the people that work there. The food is not that great, in fact, lately it has become a less than desirable experience. Jan Jorgensen is getting old and decrepit. He will ruin your evening! Stay away!!!!!
Over priced for average food in my humble opinion. Never was asked for drink order. So had water and a one topping fat bread pizza which was decent sized but $20 to get out for an average pizza.
I definitely won't be back. The raw food. I was only planning to eat the lunch special, and they brought me the raw food. It was flavorless. The service was bad because I asked if it wouldn't be delayed because I asked about the lunch special. Everything expensive
I had a really disappointing meal here last Tuesday. We both ordered the salmon steak with asparagus. When the meal came there was pasta. No asparagus. I asked the waiter and he said "The chef was out of asparagus so he made a substitution." I said "I don't eat pasta." He said "This pasta is like salad. You can eat it." I said that I wanted asparagus. He said that he would get us some. He brought two stalks of asparagus "for the ladies." That comes out to a stalk apiece. I wish that I had I had just sent the plate back. I ate half of the tuna and we left. I was so angry that I called the owner two days later.. He said "What can I do to make you happy?" I said "Comp the meal (meaning refund my meal). He claimed that he couldn't do that because there was to much security risk to doing refunds. That is ridiculous of course. I actually called my credit card company to see if he was full of it and the agent said "I have never in my time hear heard that there was any risk to doing a refund." He said "I will take care care of you the next time you come in...If you come in." I was silent. He said "Call me next week after I investigate." I am not holding my breath. Clearly this man does not care about the satisfaction of his customers.
Worst onion soup ever! Salmon unremarkable! Service was great, although the server pointing to the suggested tip was in poor taste. Seriously horrible French onion Soup!
