Happened to fin this island gem during a weekend trip - husband wanted to play pool! We were welcomed by the locals and Harry, himself. Clean, calm, friendly place - very inviting and the drinks were great!!!!! No foo-foo here! Just good people and good drinks.
Love Harry's Bar... first time, the atmosphere is so chilled, relaxing and very friendly staff! Go visit, don't bring crazy, drama to the bar... come for a chill vibe, good music and friendly owner conversation 😉

The regular patrons make this bar great - everything from high level businessmen in Saturday casual enjoying their weekend to "that one guy who knows all the best spots to fish and has the stories to prove it". I could have spent days here, just absorbing the atmosphere. Make sure you stop in for a round of pool and the "Good Christian Prices" on drinks but no "Foo Foo" drinks.

You can’t get any drink but the basics. That’s why this place is a great place to start if you are bar hopping. Good strong drinks for the best price on the island. It’s a chill environment, and the owner is a pleasure to talk to. He’s very personable and a great conversationalist.

1st time going by far one of the best bars we have been too. Felt like home. Amazing service and we had the best Indian tacos (complementary of harris bar). Will definatley be back.

This is the bar you want if you are looking for genuine down to earth real people. This is what we found here. Harry is a great guy with great drink prices! He has a very clean bar and the cheapest drinks you will find around South Padre Island. Did I say they are mixed well? They are, but no foo foo drinks here!! We loved Harry’s Bar!
Harry’s bar was amazing. We stopped in for one shot and Harry convinced us to stay and we are so glad he did. His hospitality is amazing and such a cool guy. This is now our spot when we are at the island. Harry even fed us some of his delicious food. This bar is a must you won’t regret it.
Definitely a place for mature customers looking for a peaceful place to chill and enjoy good drinks with the most decent prices you will find. Just no foo foo drinks lol! Harry and his son are great company, respectful and funny. Love the decor too... We walked a block to watch the Friday's fireworks and returned for one more drink. We come every time we visit SPI.
Local hangout. Great prices but not fruity drinks. It's a bar and it's Harry's bar so listen to Harry and you'll be fine. Pool table, cool old movie posters and new friends. Very friendly people. Go for a beer and stay for the stories.
Got tired of the expensive foo foo drinks. Ended our vacation at the right place to unwind and get properly priced beer and drinks. Great atmosphere, friendly locals, and Harry. Will definitely make this our go to next time we come to SPI.
