Your typical Jason's deli location. A good selection of sandwiches. California Club, Beefeater, Santa Fe Chicken, and Club Royale are some of my favorites. The chipotle chicken avocado panini is a good sandwich. The free soft serve ice cream is always a plus. The cheesecake was a good dessert. The service was good.
Okay so we go to any and every Jason's deli religiously. Great quality food with affordable prices. I can feed any picky eater here. But today we were having a rough day and our card wasn't going through.. with two fussy kids Michael saved the day and restored my faith in humanity. Genuinely brought tears to my eyes. Everytime we are taken care of and treated like family I can't say how grateful we are and how much we love it here! Michael and all of the employees here are always very attentive even when busy. Costumer service is truly unparalleled. That's why they will continue to get our business and our recommendations.
Cashier 32 and the manager were patient with our order and followed through to make sure it was accurate and that we were satisfied. It was delicious and we liked the atmosphere.
It's my first time walking into this restaurant and really felt very welcomed by Cassidy , Avery polite professional young lady. I ordered my food to go and she offered me a drink also the stuff looked very professional, it was a high quality service. I recommend this restaurant and it's one of my favorite now . Thank you for the quality service.
Fresh food, variety, and many options make this deli chain a wonderful healthy favorite! Service is quick! Use their app to order ahead and easily pick up via drive-thru, curbside, or walk-in. Recommended.
I love the menu, the service and the efficiency of Jason's Deli. We had the Penne and Meatballs and French Dip, plus their Chicken Noodle Soup. All was flavorful and generous. I've been hitting their restaurants for many decades, they never disappoint. Recommended for quick visit lunches or dinners, somehow they manage to make it a goid experience for adults and kids alike.
We always have a good experience here, and the salad bar is well stocked and fresh. My kids love it too, especially the free ice cream cone.
Great place very clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. I will be returning again it has become my favorite go to spot for lunch and dinner. Keep up the good work.
I want to take a moment to recognize Semeion, who is one of the manager's at this location. He is amazing!! Semeion, patience and willingness to assist me when I place my order speak volumes. I truly appreciate all his help and support. Thank you, Semeion!!!
I always forget about Jason's Deli and I'm not sure why. We arrived back in town Sunday evening and wanted a bite to eat. Jason's was the perfect quiet place to unwind and have a meal. My Ruben the Great was .. great 😀
Good place to grab a quick bite. There was plenty of seating and the food came out fresh and tasty. If you go the chicken pot pie soup is delicious!
I'm upset that I never tried Jason's deli earlier! Their Papa Joe is amazingggg. I love that their sweet tea isn't ridiculously sweet like 90% of all other restaurants. Staff at this location are always very polite.
My goto cali club is just simple and great for lunch. Never tooooo packed so the wait is not bad at all! Fresh salad bar too!
I haven't eaten there so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but the food is always delicious. I've never had anything from this place I haven't liked. Often times ordering food will make me feel kind of icky or sick later but not this place. I'm full without feeling disgusting :)
The salad bar is my go to. I can't think of another restaurant with so many choices.
Excellent lunch place. I've been going to this location at least once a week since they first opened and they have consistently provided excellent customer service and delicious, fresh food. I typically order online and go through the drive through to pick up. It's always fast, fresh, and delicious. Heather is typically working the drive through Monday through Friday - she's smiley, friendly, efficient, and addresses me by name. My order is always right. I love the menu including my favorite - the amazing (but seasonal) Beef Stew, my favorite sandwich is Amy's Turkey-O, best salad - Mesa Salad, fresh fruit, etc. I can't say "thank you" enough to Heather, the excellent lunch manager, and the entire Jason's Deli Grand Parkway crew. A+++!
Love being able to order from the app and pick up in the drive thru. So much better than the fast food options out there, and I get to eat REAL food! My Fav is the 1/4 turkey muffaletta! If you're dining in...they have a great salad bar too!
The Jason's Deli at 6735 Grand Pkwy W, Spring, TX 77389 is place is great! The atmosphere is nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. The General Manager, Nicky, is amazing. You can tell that taking care of the customers and ensuring that they have a pleasant experience is her main priority. The food is great – everything we tasted was delicious. I highly recommend this Jason's Deli! If you want some good food and good customer service, visit this Jason's Deli.
Great food. Nicely presented. I found the menu confusing but the Counter staff patiently explained everything.
My customer service rep was simian (not sure I spelled that right). My card declined several times and so did my Apple Pay. He could tell that I was getting anxious and he told me multiple times that it was okay and we could try again. I asked if he knew where an atm was and he directed me to one not too far. I went outside and ordered online and came back in to which he handed me the salad bar to go and was still so very polite! He’s great and just wanted to let everyone know.
I ordered online 30 boxed lunches with specific request so I could maintain social distancing while distributing these boxes. All request were done, the food was fresh, the location is clean and they carried 3 bags to my car and loaded them in the back for me. Excellent service! Well done! Bravo! I am now including this location in our rotation for monthly lunches.
We pickup from Jason's Deli every week! the food is always fresh, there is definitely enough of a menu to find something you will love and the prices are not too bad.... we try to eat a little healthy with portion size so I appreciate the lighter size portions for most all menu options! We like just about everything on the menu but especially the soups, baked potatoes, pasta, and my sandwich is the Amy's Turkey Sandwich (and others! e.g., Wild Salmonwich) I recommend giving the place a try!
Great staff, the front counter guy Daniel was laughing and smiling. The food was delivered in a timely manner and the food was delivered hot. The food was excellent we have been turkey club was excellent and plenty to eat. Thank you for a good experience I will be back.
Every time I come in, Semeion remembers my order, and is super friendly. Definitely brightens up my day to have such a friendly face greet me with a smile on his face. My food always comes out hot and fresh, the salad bar is maintained. I also like that the original family still owns the corporation.
I don't typically post reviews for corporations, unless I'm blown away by the staff at a particular location. Over the last year, I've become quite a regular at this Jason's deli because of my work location. While every staff member has been nothing but courteous and kind and helpful, I wanted to post a specific shout out to Claire. She is bright, kind, conversational, and the main reason I keep coming back! She's an expert at customer interaction and deserves recognition of that.
Ruby was very friendly and pleasant to work with. She greeted us as well as every customer who walked in after us. We also saw her sweeping and cleaning tables after we were served. Food was hot and delicious as well 👍🏼
This Jason's Deli is very clean and an easy to get to location. The parking is very safe and there is wheelchair accessible access. The food was great and the service was also very good. Just like all Jason's deli's you order the food at the front and then they bring it to you at the table when it's ready. Everyone in my table love their meal I ended up getting the chicken Caesar salad and it was really tasty. Everyone else at the table got the manager special which was a sandwich and soup. There were about five soups to choose from and of course 20 different sandwich types. Would recommend this restaurant very clean and a friendly staff
Wonderful salad bar, many array of options & price was sufficient
I had the pleasure of having Claire help me. She is such a breathe of fresh air. She's kind and courteous. She helped me when I was unsure of what to get. She asked what things i liked and I ended up with a delicious potatoe. I hope all of the employees are that amazing!
Jason's Deli is hands down one of my favorite places for a quick, healthy meal. Whether I’m on the go or looking for something fresh and filling, this location never disappoints. Their salads are a standout—always crisp, flavorful, and packed with a great mix of ingredients. My personal favorite is the Big Chef chicken salad. It’s hearty, delicious, and feels like a complete meal in itself. In addition to their salads, their soups are simply amazing. They’re rich, comforting, and full of flavor, perfect for pairing with a salad or sandwich. The portion sizes here are generous, which makes it easy to feel satisfied without overindulging. Plus, I appreciate that they focus on offering healthy options that cater to a variety of dietary needs. This particular location also deserves a shoutout for its excellent service and cleanliness. The staff is always friendly, and the food is consistently fresh. It’s so nice to have a reliable spot where you know you’ll get quality every single time. Whether I’m craving a light meal or something more filling, Jason’s Deli hits the mark. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a delicious, healthy, and convenient dining option.
Well managed location. Food is a good quality especially for how quickly they serve you after ordering.
Jason's has always been a staple in our household. The broccoli cheese soup is amazing and the salad bar is great. No complaints here!
Stopped by Jason's Deli for a quick lunch and grabbed a salad and it hit the spot! Everything tasted fresh, with generous portions of meat and cheese. I would've liked a few more tomatoes, but overall it was solid. I swapped the traditional ranch for the Jalapeño ranch, which turned out to be a great call, super flavorful and tasted like it was made in house. The portion size was no joke either, I only made it through half! Affordable, satisfying, and easy to grab on the go definitely a spot I'll keep in mind when I'm in the area and need a quick good meal that doesn't break the bank.
Jason’s Deli is a lifesaver for anyone eating gluten-free! They offer gluten-free bread, and it’s actually really soft, tasty, and perfect for any of their sandwiches. So grateful they’re thoughtful about dietary needs!
I order from this location often for work lunches where I'm employed and they have always done a fantastic job! The food is always fresh and always delivered promptly. The deliveries are completed by the nicest person as well ! I've been meaning to leave a review for a while since I've been ordering from this location since 2023. Can't go wrong with Jason's Deli guys!
This place is extremely clean and well run. The manager greeted guests and welcomed them. The food selection was extensive. Our servings were prepared fresh. The salad bar is well stocked. They even have free ice cream cones. I had the 1/2 sandwich (post roast) and bowl of soup. My wife enjoyed a grill cheese sandwich which she said used high quality bread and cheese.
The salad bar is good. The chicken on my panini was dry. The air conditioner was leaking from condensation and it was all over the floor.
Burnt ends sandwich had good flavor but not as big or exciting as the picture, certainly not worth the price. Gumbo was great.
Pleasant lunch spot today. I had salad bar and Irish potato soup.
Can't say I've ever had a bad experience. The food is a healthier option to most and has yet to disappoint me or my wife and 2 girls. There's something for everyone, and the kiddos won't let you forget Jason's deli as an option, given that every customer has the opportunity to get themselves an ice cream to cleanse their flavor palette.
Free ice cream is always a good thing! Most of the food is really good. Really like the Club Royal and the Caprese Panini. Tried the Reuben the Great today and was a bit disappointed. The meat was really dry and there wasn't any kind of sauce to help it out. I feel like it needs some kind of mayo sauce with horseradish in it, and of course to have meat that's a lot more juicy.
They charged me $8.99 for a 1 trip to the salad bar in place of my chips and then argued with me about it when I asked why it was so expensive
I really enjoy the food at Jason's Deli. I used the drive-thru today. Food is still great. It is how they do business I'm concerned with. The price on their board for my Pollo Mexicano potato with $10.49. I was charged $11.49. This is an unacceptable oversight. The potato tends to be dry because it's so big and so I asked if I could get extra butter. It is a condiment to me, so I never thought about the possibility that there would be a charge and the employee did not think it important to tell me there would be one. This is a common issue with a lot of restaurants. As customers we do not know the policies on extra items regarding what is and is not charged for, so when something is asked for that will be an additional fee, I wish it was a standard practice to let the customer know. It is a one inch square piece of butter I paid 99 Cents for. It is also solid and cold, so it's going to cool off my potato when I was wanting it put on as they made it. I did not ask for a side of butter; I asked for extra butter in the potato. I would not have purchased it had I known. So I paid right at 2 additional dollars I wasn't expecting. It was very disappointing.
Food was good as always. My concern was the double standard used when it came to "safety " standards. As a patron I was asked to use gloves when visiting the one trip salad bar, but I noticed a manager handling the salad bar without gloves. What's good for one, is good for the other.
Friendly service. Hadn't been to a JD in a long time. Remembered how much me and the wife enjoy the California club, so we stopped by for two, and a cup of soup. Food seemed fresh, but lacked flavor.
Not all JD are created equal. Three stars because the food tasted ok, it didn't have presentation but tasted fine. As for customer service though it is subpar. Went in today (3rd visit to this location) not busy, had dirty tables, no one greeted us as we walked up and when finally, someone came to take our order it seemed like a bother to them, since I had questions about the menu. Ordered a soup to go, to take home and saw it get passed around, took too long especially when no one else is there. I had to tell them, that the soup was for me and could I get it please since I had an appointment. The guy had no sense of urgency and moved extra slow bringing it to me, on purpose, I saw how he was working the whole time so I know.
Jason's has typically been all about the customer. This is NOT true at this location. Although minor in the grand scheme i was shocked when I asked for a container to add a few muffins off the salad bar to my take out order. Every other Jason's has gladly handed me a bag or small box. This Jason's was insistent I had to add a salad bar order. I know this is a small issue but that set the tone that this particular Jason's is not focused on the customer. Muffins are nothing and if we had been eating in store I'm sure we could have walked over and added 1 or 2 to our plate. Small things that make a big difference. I'll just visit a different Jason's in the future. Overall the food was fine as usual.
Sean at the register is dishonest. He added a drink to my order without asking. He just took the liberty to make my bill more expensive. I sat watching him and he never asked anyone if they want a drink, just hands them a cup. How many people think the drink is included? He’s being dishonest to make store sales better. Shame on you Sean.
The muffuletta was great. The left off my strawberry shortcake and gave me some weird tamale wrapped in grape leaves. I have not found one restaurant in this town that can get a Togo order correct.
Really expensive now, the salad bar has been reduced to almost nothing. Something was making a constant high pitch squeal the whole time. Add Jason's deli to the growing list of over priced and under delivering restaurants.
Food was good. However, I hope their kitchen gets cleaned better than their tables. First, it was difficult to find a table that had been bussed. The gal that was bussing tables was slow as molasses. As I was eating my lunch and observing her, she slowly bussed the tables and seldom wiped them down. She would wipe the tables that either had had a messy baby at them or something had been spilled. If the table only had crumbs on it, It did not get wiped down. This is very disturbing as there are so many germs out there.
Monday night around 6:20, line is about five people deep with one cashier. Finally it gets six people deep and the manager (we can see him chilling in his office) walks out to help. Clears it up in a split. Meanwhile everyone in line, who’d already been there for a long time, are beyond frustrated. Manager wise, pay attention bro. You’re the leader. You’re supposed to be there for your crew and the customers before any office work obligations. Food took a long time, it’s now 6:45 and we still haven’t gotten it. Not a great night, and it might be awhile before we come back. I don’t ever post bad reviews because I’ve worked in the industry. But we paid $30 for two baked potatoes and a kids meal. That’s heavy considering the wait and medium quality.
This is the second time I have gone to Jason's at the Grand Parkway and both the drive thru and the salad bar have been closed. I could let that roll off of my back, but what I cannot let pass the way the manager at the cash register was treating an elderly couple in line trying to order. She was so rude and condescending to them that I felt like leaving. The gentleman ordered the salad bar and she told him with zero concern that the salad bar was closed. I was watching the exchange closely and I believe she saw and then offered the weak excuse that a staff member had called in and she'd closed the salad bar down. I felt very bad for the couple and angry at the impudent manager. That location has had extremely poor management since it opened. I would not recommend this location to a friend, but I hope I can find a different location nearby to see if these problems are company wide or isolated to the Grand Pky location.
Jason’s Deli #212 @ 6735 N Grand Parkway Associates always nice ! But Loud Screeching microwave keeps going off & they let it sit too long, screeching through entire lunch ! Annoying! Still No WiFi actively working in this store. Honestly if WiFi worked I’d be dining more. Salad bar is always good . Will be back cause I’m on a diet . Can yall come up with a low carb sandwich?😃
I really like Jason’s deli, but tonight’s visit was truly disappointing. I order a cup of chili. We sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes which was insane! The young lady working the window was pleasant. I got home to see the quality of the chili is not what I’m used to receiving from them. It looked like canned Wolf chili. I was very disappointed because I used to enjoy their chili as it was prepared with fresh ingredients. This really missed the mark for me. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Still has the smallest portions of food for all Jason's delis. They keep the seating area cold, which I could understand if they were busy (to move the customers through faster), but it was dead for a dinner rush. It all makes sense. Most Jason's are packed, this one needs a lot of work, for being brand new. I wasn't happy the first time I went about 6 months ago, and I'm still not happy the last time I will go. This Jason's is subpar compared to the rest in the area.
We wore masks and social distanced from others in the restaurant. Came in to drop off my son with my parents as we had dinner plans with friends. Pulled up chairs to sit down for TWO minutes to talk to my grandparents who were eating with them. We haven’t seen them in months and did not just want to drop & run. My son was thirsty so I went to go get him a drink. As I was purchasing a drink, the manager (what I assume) stopped me and asked me to move my chairs away from my grandparents & parents as it was not safe. He said we could pull tables together. So I (pregnant might I add) go to move a table together so they could finish, (they only had a few bites left)and he told me to stop. Pulling a table up to a booth where my family was sitting is no different than pulling tables together. There was literally ONE other occupied table in the entire restaurant. I asked him for another straw, and instead of doing so he went behind the counter and started complaining to another employee. I finally went up and asked again. He graciously gave me a new milk for my son. My poor mother had to go sit at a table by herself because they would not allow her to pull up a table. We left so the man would leave my family alone. I am not impressed with how the manager handled the situation. In the future I suggest going up to a table, and offering customers a more comfortable seating arrangement and moving tables yourself instead of having a pregnant woman do it. It will be much better received than stopping a paying customer, and repeatedly telling them what they are doing is wrong.
First time at this particular Jason's Deli. We were not impressed. My sandwich was cold and slightly soggy. My soup was only warm and then we learned that the soft serve ice cream machine was broken. Just not a whole lot to like about this location.
It was so dark inside and the food was mediocre waited a while for food and there were only 5 tables at the time. Managers were in office one lady Manager was busy the whole time the two guys were in the office one cook and two young girls one hung out in restroom from the time we sat down until we were ready to leave. Salad bar needs help so does the line cook. Not only was order missing items we requested to purchase at register (not on ticket) but our order came out wrong for items that were on ticket.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. The Gumbo was good and flavorful. The fruit was very fresh. The salad was good. The chocolate cake, not good. The lemonade, weak. But the mufelatta was trash, twice. The first time it was served with broken bread under the sandwich. It fell apart immediately. The manager quickly got a new sandwich. It was nothing like the picture. Sadly, Jason's deli has become fast food. A deli's number one food item is the sandwich. Putting thin slices of meat on a sandwich which portrays a thick meaty one is unacceptable.
It's a rumor online that their salad bar is now a one-time trip now. Who would want to pay for this kind of service. The greed is unbelievable. It can be true???
Terrible customer service. No greet, no smiles. Nothing. Just stale. Whoever took my order and gave me my food did not ask questions pf what chips i wanted or if i wanted fruit or chips or nothing. I will never come back here again. And she didnt give me my receipt.
As an avid patron of the original Jason's Deli in Beaumont (avid referencing that the staff knows me by name & what my order consists of) I am aware of the expectations set forth for all staff and this location has missed the mark! This is the 2nd time at THIS SAME LOCATION that after reviewing my bank account it reflects DOUBLE CHARGES BOTH AT DIFFERENT PRICES even though one order was placed, received and one receipt was given as well. After this evening with speaking to the visiting manager Chris, whom seemingly was not surprised when informed about the double charges. He was also unconcerned, unapologetic and frankly found the ordeal to be comical (Literally chuckling on the phone!) This location is a poor example of Jason's Deli standards and at this point I'm convinced there's fraudulent activity present. I will NEVER visit this location again.
The manager was very rude and it took 20 minutes to get our food. There were only 7 other customers in the place. I spoke to a manager, can't remember her name but she was African American (in case you need to cmoplain, find a different manager cuz she won't do anything for you), and all she had to say was that she can cancel my order. Never got an apology.
I'm very upset with the company not this restaurant, they dropped the French onion soup in the middle of my wife's third trimester several years back..... So we hear they brought it back, my wife was super excited. We show up and it's not on the menu, but there's a sign saying "welcome back french onion soup". When we get up to order the cashier informs us they dropped it again. 100% done with Jason's Deli.
The food at Jason's Deli is delicious! Unfortunately, the food at THIS Jason's Deli is not. I was so excited for them to build nearby because I love Jason's Deli. But the food at this location is CONSISTENTLY old and mediocre. The first time I thought, "Oh, they obviously didn't make their soup today or yesterday. I'll come back on a different day of the week." The 2nd-7th times I thought the same thing, until I finally realized that the food at this location always tastes old. Once I found a hair in my broccoli cheese soup. Another time, I was 2/3 done with my salad when I found a giant, live bug in it! My friend took a video. It was almost an inch long! And he was walking around and preening... he had obviously been right at home in that salad. He looked like some kind cross between a cricket and praying mantis. I was going to bring him back to the restaurant, but I was pretty sure they were going to give me a gift certificate, and I really don't want to keep eating there! I haven't been able to eat a fruit/nut salad since, even at home, because it freaked me out so much. All that being said, the Jason's Deli on 1960 has always been fabulous. And so was the one in my hometown in Utah. It just took me a good 15-20 times of ordering and throwing away old-tasting, dirty food here before I realized that it's always like this at this location. It doesn't matter which day you catch the soup, it always tastes cold and old. And it doesn't matter which day you order the salad, the leaves are going to be wilted (and sometimes home to living things). :( I still drive past this one to the one on 1960 sometimes when I'm hungry.
Over and over the salad bar is closed without any type of notice. I was told the cause was due to lack of staff. Not sure I understand what that has to do with a self-serve salad bar. But good grief, put a note on the door to let customers know. Standing in line for 20 minutes (having my daughter check that there is food out on the salad bar) then being told it’s closed is ridiculous. What a complete let down from my favorite deli. Guess it’s time to find a new favorite place. Rude guy/possibly manager at the register doesn’t help the case either.
Jason's Deli has lowered its standards across all restaurants... the fourth time they messed up my order, and their dishes are not consistent... when there is a shortage of ingredients, they will make you whatever you order but with other ingredients... There's no consistency... I returned the order just because they were lazy and they just seemed not to want to serve or work... It's a shame because I liked these restaurants, but it's clear that quality and service have become Mcdonald's level.
AWFUL 😞 Simply AWFUL !!! I will NEVER recommend Jason Deli and especially this location to anyone!!! After being a loyal customer for about 2 years and spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars with Jason Deli, I simply just experienced the worst, most nastiest service. Staff was mean and very impolite and REFUSED my business. Surely taking my issue to higher authorities. It's a professional way you speak to customers and today's display was very unprofessional and tacky. Last few times visiting it was NOT pleasant, yet tried to give it another try since I've supported them for about 2 years. Staff always playing around with the food. Why is staff constantly at the salad bar patrolling as if they just paid their money for a meal to eat. Every time I visit they so call cleaning the salad bar yet breathing, shifting food around constantly. Not professional to have people fixing their food and staff guarding over them and wiping all around with nasty cloths. Lately the lettuce been yucky. Brown and many time saugy!!! The fruit look as if it's been recycled around. Grapes NEVER fresh. How is it, you have a salad bar and monitor people how much should be on their plate or if you do not have enough space on your tray to gather all food you desire to eat then you can't go back up to get what couldn't fit on your plate????? I'm lost for words the way I was just treated as me being a professional and world leader. NEVER in LIFE will I support Jason Deli. Lastly, the Reward bucks that you receive for your meal is null and void. I cashed in my rewards for a meal and was told I never cashed them in when my reward account shows proof. The Management staff is a set of rude people! They REFUSED my service over a simple mishap and have lost me and my corporation business for life!!!! Higher authorities are now being contacted. This location is a simple MESS!
After finding my seat with my (empty and clean) plates that were provided for me for the salad bar, I went to the salad bar to fill my small plate that was provided for side items and was loudly and rudely scolded by the manager for "returning" to the salad bar even though I had not gotten anything from there yet. The stale muffins that the manager was trying to gate keep were not worth it. Poor customer service and poor manager selection must have been why the restaurant was so empty.
My wife and I went to this Jason deli on 8-17-2023 and we both order the Texas Spud potato and a cup of potato soup. Well the soup was great but the Texas spud was DRY out and the potato had a nasty old taste to it. It's nothing like the potato we got there a year or so ago, I wish I would have taken a picture of it but we were so disgusted we just wanted to get out of there. We took our potato soup and drinks but left that nasty Texas spud right on the table, that was the worst $34i ever spent on food. I told my wife they'll never have to worry about me visiting there again, as far as the service it was good. Lesson learned, money WASTED.. wish I could give ----0 ☆on the Texas Spud potato..
The only reason this location gets 1 star is because of who I believe is the manager. The manager is extremely rude and loud. I would like to leave more about the negative experiences which have occurred over a long period of time but there is to much to list here. Suffice it to say I continue to go there and hope that manager will not be working. I enjoy the food, thats why I continue going to this location. In my opinion, the female manager needs serious training on how to interact with customers and if that does not fix the problem she needs to be moved or let go. This in the only Jasons Deli location I have had so many problems nearly every time I go there. I know there are several other JD locations but this is the closest and most convenient for my needs. At some point I will have had enough from this manager and take my business elsewhere.
Went went to have lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon they were not busy. Only one other couple in the restaurant. It took 15 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and 1 bowl of soup. The soup was luke warm. When I asked for napkins I got a dirty look from the employee. The aujus sauce was just short of cold. Then asked for a box and they didn't bring it to us. Had to go ask again. All in all the worst visit ever. I would not recommend this Jason Deil to anyone. I even told people walking into the restaurant to consider going elsa where. Which they did.
1st time that I've come here and drink bar had no straw's there were no cup lids and the sweet tea was not sweet had no sugar at all in the labeled container sweet tea Lots of dirty tables around and it took quite some time for the order to come out and the restaurant was not very full. I'm eating at Jason's deli for years and Kingwood and champions on 1960 it's always been good and the service has been great. I was very disappointed being the 1st time I bit said in this Jason's deli. I expected much more from this restaurant. Food came out and there was no silverware no napkins. Very disappointed in this Jason's deli.
My wife and I frequented Jason's Deli for lunch a few times per month and always ordered off the menu until today, as my wife chose the salad bar. She asked for a clean bowl after finishing a small salad and was informed that she was allowed one pass thru the salad bar. I explained to the staff that she was not informed of this new protocal so my complaint was brought to the manager. The manager did not have the decency to face my displeasure and we proceeded to leave the restaurant. For the last time, I might add. We are now sitting down at a neighboring restaurant so my wife can enjoy a meal, not just a snack. I highly doubt we will be returning to Jason's Deli.
I will never go to this Jason’s Deli again. When picking up my $200 order, the manager kept telling me to “calm down” even though I was calm as could be. I had to wait 30 minutes for them to get my pre-paid order together after waiting in a long line. The customer beside me said, “You didn’t do anything wrong”. She went on to say that she would never come to this location again after seeing how I was treated. I’ll go to the 1960 location next time.
I don't know who Jason is, but he needs to get in here and shut down this deli. My car broke down in the drive-through so that should've been the first red flag when I came to this establishment how are you gonna charge $30 for a tomato mozzarella sandwich that I can find anywhere else on this God green planet but Jason decided he needed to charge $30 for it. I don't know who raised you Jason but you need to learn some manners.
They’re unable to adapt well to covid. If you like JD before, especially manager’s special, don’t go now. Maybe wait until after covid. ——————————- Particulars: Grilled chicken panini now has almost no chicken. Manager’s special is pointless. Instead of a trip to the salad bar (which they still have behind glass but only for entire salad orders), they offer prepackaged salad (lettuce only, no mixed greens or spinach) with a couple of toppings. This isn’t a special. Gingerbread muffins- extra $. And to boot, they forgot to give them to us. Eggs- extra $. Red bell peppers - soft and slimy, not fresh and crisp. No more ice cream cones or cups. Is it that hard for staff to make the cones if kids can’t use the machine?
I have been going to Jason's Deli since the early 80's on the original location on Dowlen Rd in Beaumont. Got the Rueben and a salad thi split with my wife. They downsized the hell out of it. It is now an overpriced rip off! It looks like two small sliders that are 4 bites each with easily 1/2 the meat we usually get. The meat is also much lower quality. 1/2 the corn beef was inedible. Avoid this place. I won't be back.
I ordered via DoorDash at my daughter’s house. She has a 2 ½ yr old and a 1 yr old. She spent the day at the ER with the sick 2 ½ yr old while i was home with the baby and my daughter was also sick when she returned home. We made a large order that totaled over $100 and one item was left out of the bag (which meant someone did not have dinner). When i called the store the shift supervisor was very cold and rude and offered for me to come pick it up or get a refund from door dash (which still left someone with no dinner). I was not able to leave the children to go pick up the item. I called the store manager the next morning and all he could offer was “I’m sorry” and I’ll talk to the night crew. Carefully consider before ordering from them.
I have never once in my life had a bad experience at Jason’s deli until today. The staff here is absolutely rude and unaccommodating. There was an order placed at 12:40 and I waited 25 minute pass. The time to order was supposed to be ready. I waited patiently the entire time. The cashier who didn’t even bother greeting me which isn’t the biggest deal, but it is weird that he acknowledge everyone after me. After realizing that my order was not ready, he talk to the supervisor and they realize they given the order to someone else. Instead of saying hey, this is the situation if you could kindly wait while we prepare milk he just went onto the next customer not even acknowledging me the supervisor went to correct the situation. Spoke to everyone else and then finally let me know maybe three or four minutes later that the order is in preparation. still patiently waiting after a few moments if they wouldn’t mind accommodating me with a drink since they did mess up in order and I was waiting so patiently. Instead of the guy I asked replying to me, he walked directly to the supervisor who then said loudly for everyone to hear I have already spoken to him, the guy proceeded to tell her that I wanted to drink she said ‘oh’ then spoke to him discreetly. He then came back, rolling his eyes, and with a very unfriendly posture, asking if I intended to pay for said drink…. With everyone now staring at me I just decided to walk out instead of causing a scene or getting upset. I mean I don’t know if I am the one tripping but honestly I thought it was the least that they can do ask me for some water while I wait, on their behalf.
I hadn't been to a Jason's Deli in 4+ years, and I was pretty disappointed by my experience here. We each ordered a full meal and drink, and I just wanted a couple of garlic crisps and gingerbread mini muffins. I ended paying $4+ for them because they discontinued the complimentary practice. I understand they're trying to keep costs down, but it's just a bummer, and I felt like the manager made me feel like some skeezy customer trying to take excessively. One of us actually ordered a salad from the bar too.
The Grand Parkway Jason’s Deli is such a disappointment!! Jason’s Deli is one of my favorite places but this place has such pathetic portions. I always get the quarter muffaletta and every other location I’ve been to loads the meat and olive mixture up on the delicious bread. This location gives you like two thin slices of meat — both of our orders had this! We will not be coming back to this location! The 249 location is the BEST one!
Got a salad bar and was terrible and old the small muffins were so old was hard a crackers and look like the bar had not been restocked in a day or more. I would suggest not going to this store the other 2 stores are always fresh need to change management at this store
Rude and slow service. It took 29 minutes to get our food. Me and another customer had went to speak with the manager about the time it is taking to get our food. After informing her that it's been 29 minutes, her response was "ok, you want me to cancel it and you can go somewhere else". (I think that's a rude and unhelpful response) Then I said "no, I'm already time invested and I'm hungry, but it takes less time to get my food at Olive Garden". She said, "you're right, it does". She never offered a solution to the problem nor did she apologize. 2 other customers behind me had the same complaint. I had the "salmon-wich". It was gross, slimy and was so hot from the microwave I couldn't even eat it right away. During the 29 minute wait I watched the kitchen, I had no idea just how much they microwave so much of their food. I always thought deli's were about fresh food, but apparently not here. This is the first time in my over 500 reviews I have ever given a 1 star rating. I always try to find something good to say and always rate at least a 3.... Until today.
