I wish we took more photos of the room so I can do them justice but Annadale Terrace and their staff was an absolute pleasure to work with! Angeliki (spelling of her name may be off — I apologize!) is so accommodating and calm during anything and everything we brought to her during the planning process of our engagement party! I would absolutely recommend the food, atmosphere and venue to anyone hosting their special events! Great for birthday parties, bridal parties or family get together. 100000/10!

Annandale Terrace in Staten Island truly impressed me with their gyro. It's a gem of a dish in their diverse menu. The meat was succulent and well-seasoned, paired with a delicious sauce that elevated the whole experience. The portion was satisfying, and the service was top-notch – friendly and prompt. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving quality diner food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Their gyro is a standout, highly recommended!

Annadale Terrace has friendly service and a welcoming team that make the visit enjoyable! The food is decent but could be more flavorful and consistent. The atmosphere is simple and could use more character. A solid neighborhood option with room to grow — would come back to see the improvements!

Waited a little too long after we were sat to get a server to come over but probably wasn't his fault. There seemed to be a shortage of servers today. After that, his service was good. The food was good and everything seemed fresh. The coffee was decently strong and fresh. The menu is basically like a diner menu with some other things that you may not find at a diner. We will definitely come back to try more of the good.

We attended on Mother’s Day and sat outdoors and it was lovely because of the wonderful weather and it was a nice atmosphere outside. The service was a little slow, but that was to be expected on an important day like Mother’s Day, but they should be more prepared as it seemed like everyone was just grabbing things and moving around and not really staying focused on what their role was. The food was good and very fresh and came out quickly. However, the fried calamari was not breaded enough, and it was extremely rubbery.

The food and coffee here were very good. We enjoyed all of our selections. The service was prompt and friendly. Setting is more restaurant than diner and could use more care, inside and outside.

We went on new year's day at 5pm, it was not busy. It took server a very long time to take order for 4 people. burgers were tasteless, onion rings were awful frozen chopped onion rings that burger king sells. when server brought dessert, she practically tossed it and says "here", poor girl had no social skills at all. It was a shame, the diner looked beautiful, decorated so lovely for the holiday. The last time I went there, maybe 2 years ago it was outstanding. Ypu would think with the closure of another diner, Z-One they would step up their game to entice new customers. It was just the opposite. not going back any time soon.

Be prepared to be robbed. I don't have any complaints about the food or service. At the register is a sign for 3.75% discount for cash. The check is not pre adjusted and they do not do note credit you at the register. The older woman at the register pretends to be ignorant but knows exactly what she's doing. I had to argue for the discount which is $3.75 on a $100 check. It took asking three times before she refunded me the correct amount nastily. To which I replied, It's My Money.

Had breakfast. Food was good, then suddenly wife dropped fork and gagged. The cup of tea they brought had globs of lipstick on opposite side from where she was drinking. Then she noticed lipstick on side she was drinking from. Told cashier about it, her and another girl endlessly walked around looking for someone to tell. Had to stand to side waiting for someone while cashier took customers. Got tired of waiting and have people staring at us so we just paid the bill (had to remind cashier we paid cash and that she was charging us too much). This should have been quick and decisive decision to be made. Should have discounted bill or thrown it out! Not the way to run business. Waiter saw lipstick and repeatedly apologized! Annadale diner may not care but we will go elsewhere from now on. Thanks for nothing.

The owner or the son doesn’t even come over to the table to ask if everything is okay. The worst service and food ever!! Pick another diner cause this place isn’t it.

I recently stopped into Annadale Terrace after recovering from an accident that left my back and legs badly injured. Because of this, I specifically asked the hostess for a booth so I could sit comfortably. She saw I was dining alone and tried to seat me at the counter. I politely declined and again asked for a booth. She refused, saying they “needed to save them for other people,” even though it was a quiet Thursday afternoon and there were multiple empty booths in plain sight. She instead offered me a half booth, which has a much narrower and shorter seat. I tried sitting in it — it was extremely uncomfortable. I then tried the chair on the opposite side and that was no better. After realizing I couldn’t sit there without pain, I went back to the hostess and explained all this, assuming she would understand and accommodate. Instead, she proceeded to explain to me how chairs work as if I hadn’t just sat in them myself. At that point, I left. Being in pain and then spoken to condescendingly — especially when the solution was simple and literally sitting empty — was insulting. I didn’t go there looking for special treatment — only basic empathy and common sense. If someone clearly expresses physical discomfort, the response shouldn’t be policy over compassion.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Annadale Terrace, a diner I’ve been loyal to, visiting at least four or five times a month. I usually order the Annadale Terrace Wrap, but this time I decided to try something different and ordered the grilled calamari salad. Before ordering, I asked the waiter how it was, and he assured me it was really good. However, when it arrived, the smell of fish was so overpowering that you could’ve smelled it from across the restaurant. I took one bite and immediately spit it out it was extremely chewy, like a rubber band. I told the waiter right away that the salad smelled bad and was far too tough to eat. I sent it back and ordered my usual wrap instead, along with one to go. Shortly after, a woman named Sofia approached my table and asked what was wrong with the salad. I explained that it had a very strong, unpleasant fishy smell and was extremely chewy. To my shock, she told me that both she and the chef had tasted it. I found that completely inappropriate and unsanitary, especially since I had already eaten from the plate and even spit a piece back onto it. She then informed me that while she would take it off the bill this time, she wouldn’t do so in the future. I told her plainly that I don’t eat food that doesn’t taste good and will always send it back if I’m unhappy with it. Her response was incredibly unprofessional—she said, “We don’t need customers like you in our establishment,” and insisted there was nothing wrong with the food. I remained polite, paid my bill, and left, but I was extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone, as Sofia’s behavior was both rude and disrespectful. She should absolutely be retrained on how to speak to customers. On top of that, I noticed the bathroom was filthy which is concerning because a dirty bathroom often reflects the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. Perhaps the staff should focus more on maintaining hygiene and less on berating paying customers.

Terrible will never return. I ordered a salad from the menu that turned out to be horrible. Not realizing that the salad was made with iceberg lettuce. I decided to tell the staff. The manager came to me and said sorry mam there is nothing we can do about this you are from it. He offered another salad but at that point I didn't want anything. He refused to take the salad off my bill... 16.95 salad with half an avocado inside the salad paying for 1.00 lettuce and tomato's. Be mindful when ordering a salad I will Never again.
