Amazing food, great people and even better doughnuts during Chanukah!
The technician knew exactly what he was doing. My gate hasn’t had a hiccup since.
The menu has a lot of variety and everything is tasty. Staff are very helpful.
Great spot for a sandwich! Food is fresh and service is fast!
Delicious and the person working at the register was so nice and friendly! Very happy and would definitely go again!
Holy Schnitzel never misses! I’ve been here a few times already, and the food is always flavorful and fresh. This time, I got the Holy Toasty sandwich and the Grilled Chicken Avocado Wrap, and both were excellent. The Holy Toasty is one of my all-time favorites—crispy chicken, grilled pastrami, honey mustard, and holy sauce all toasted together on a warm baguette. The flavors just work perfectly together—crispy, smoky, sweet, and tangy in every bite. The Grilled Chicken Avocado Wrap was a great balance—lighter, but still filling. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the avocado added a nice creamy touch. Definitely a solid go-to when you want something satisfying but not too heavy. Service was quick and friendly as always. Whether you’re craving comfort food or something a bit cleaner, they’ve got great options. One of my top spots on Staten Island for sure.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Holy Toasty sandwich lives up to its name — crispy, flavorful, and totally satisfying 😇🔥. I also really enjoyed the chicken avocado wrap — fresh, filling, and full of flavor 🥑🍗. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the sauce bar had tons of options to mix things up 👌. Everything came out hot, packed well, and in generous portions. Out of all the Holy Shnitzel locations I’ve been to, this Staten Island spot is definitely one of my favorites. Great quality, great energy — I’ll be back soon! 🙌🥪🍟
This place is amazing. Not just for kosher food. For food in general. The staff are so kind, they were able to accommodate a party of 20 with ease. I ordered the Buffalo Bacon, it was amazing. The fatty beef bacon and the Buffalo chicken are balanced out so nicely with the avocado and the crispy bread. Top tier sandwich. Could not recommend this place more.
The atmosphere is casual and straightforward—clean, bright, typical fast-casual kosher restaurant setup with tables and a counter. Nothing fancy or upscale (no real "vibe" or decor to speak of), but it's comfortable enough for a quick meal or family dinner.
A Staten Island staple for kosher semi-fast food; and I believe the original location. Not a place for the faint-of-cholesterol but the food is quite good. Try the bacon fries and then take a double dose of Crestor. Healthy options are limited. Prices are high but average for kosher fare. Service is better than expected. Initial ordering can be confusing but staff go out of the way to make sure everybody gets what they need. All in all recommended.
I’ve been a customer for years and hesitant to leave a feedback because I’m a regular customer but what’s the purpose of feedbacks if I’m not leaving one. Their food is always good, but their service is consistently bad. Their food is always good, but their service is consistently bad. There’s obviously an issue. Today I had the luxury to get Eli on the phone and he was well trained employee to be rude. It seems to be the common theme there.
My wife and I used to love this place.. and our beloved corn flake chicken tenders were succulent, hearty, and a solid portion. Went recently.. and not only have prices been driven up… the once juicy thick tenders are now flat, dry, pounded meat slivers, with the batter almost being thicker than the actual chicken itself. If they ever fix their prices and chicken tenders, someone please let me know so we can go back again! At least the staff was still friendly as usual and greet you with a smile!
The food has taken a nosedive. The last two times I ordered the food was inedible. Fries burnt and burger dry and flavorless. Missing sauces, Hummus runny and falafel hard like rocks. Never again! Prices are too high also, especially considering the poor quality. $28 for a burger and fries and a cup of soup. The manager offered no compensation or even an apology.
I ordered 2 Jerusalem Mix Sandwiches and it turned out to be extremely Hot-n-Spicy. When I called to complain they did not offer to replace it.
It’s my third time eating here, and every single time they do something wrong! This time I ordered a shawarma bawl but got a falafel bawl instead. I guess third time is the charm, they have exceeded their chance limit.
We ordered for the first time from Holy Schnitzel to celebrate a coworkers birthday. The order cost over $200 and were totally dissapointed. Dispite our excitement to try their kosher cuisine, the food was a total let down and unable to be eaten. The chicken was raw, not undercooked. The order took an hour and a half to receive after the person taking the order asked if we could get them the order by 10:45. The burger was like cardboard and the pastrami was lets say disgusting!! I would pay the toll and take a short trip to Harolds for my next kosher meal next time. Out of 12 orders placed not one was happy with their order.
Once a great local kosher restaurant, this place has sadly degraded significantly under new ownership. The quality of the food has noticeably decreased, with dishes that used to be flavorful and fresh now tasting bland and poorly prepared. Despite the decline in quality, they continue to raise prices, making it hard to justify the cost for what you receive. The service has also suffered, with longer wait times and less attentive staff. It’s disappointing to see such a beloved establishment lose its charm and standards. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work on improving both their food and service.
I’ll start from the beginning. Place is really small and isn’t in the perfect shape (a lot of workers in a small place and one register for all of them). Tables weren’t cleaned after last customers. Food came out relatively fast, in about 15 minutes. It was okay, 6/10. For that quality food is pricey. We paid $43 for panini, fries and falafel bowl. Also, pieces of some weird meat were in my rice bowl right at the bottom. Disgusting. Before sitting down we mentioned to the worker we were going to buy drinks next door - to which worker said it’s okay. When we came back the manager made a rule of “no outside drinks” and let us know about it through the worker. (Why say okay to it beforehand then?) Also, the fact that me and my partner were being eyed up and down because we both are dark skinned was really frustrating. Overall, not going back to this place and I’d not recommend it to anyone.
