Gave Max’s Wine Dive a try for Sunday brunch because the wait at Snooze was 2hrs long. We walked right in and they were able to quickly accommodate our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. The food was delicious and the mimosas options were fabulous. Definitely more cozy and calm that our first choice but happy it turned out for a better experience. High recommend.
Despite having the word dive in its name, by lookin from the outside I’d always assumed Max’s was posh. However the only thing posh about this place is their incredible food! The space is delightfully communal, casual, and comforting. A real neighborhood dive vibe in the heart of the quarry. Their queso with crawfish was spot on, and 1 fork full of my friends max’n’cheese was enough for me to know I’d be back for more. My entree was their spicy, crispy chicken sandwich and when I tell you it was scrump-dilly-icious…. The bun is sweet, the spice of the chicken creeps up on you, the CRUNCH.. The only thing keeping it from being the perfect sandwich is it’s too big to fit in your mouth! I’m happy I finally gave this place a chance! Can’t wait to go back!
We have been twice and enjoyed the fried alligator, the crawfish queso, the shrimp and grits, the Brussels sprouts, and of course a few different wines! The service is amazing, we had Sarah this time and another server last time, both great! The food is amazing with a great Cajun spin, and the vibe is really relaxed and fun. It’s honestly my new favorite place!
Excellent service! Waiter was able to recommend an nice spicy Malbec. Food was fast, prepared perfectly. I had the crawfish Benedict and my friend had the waffles and wings. Each plate could have been split between 2 people. There was tons of food! We were on the patio, it was comfortable and the ambiance out there was just chill and relaxed. We'd totally go there again.
Yum yum! Love this place. Don't stray off of what I regularly order because it's always good: fried chicken, garlic broccolini, side of Max n Cheese. They used to have a jalapeño cream corn that was amazing but for some silly reason they took it off the menu. Maybe it'll come back someday.
Party of 2, sat at the bar. Hand sanitizer throughout and QR coded menu. Staff all wear their masks and you will need yours also. Social distancing is enforced. Lane graced us with his wonderful, awesome service. He made our experience one of the best. We ordered drinks then food to share. Like the fried deviled eggs, Brussel Sprouts, mac and cheese, and the truffle fries. All the food was delicious just the mac and cheese could have used a little more seasoning. My favorite were the fried deviled eggs, I wanted more but I was so full. RENÉ also assisted in making sure we were happy with our food and drinks. Thanks for a lovely, delicious experience. Please stop by if you are in the area!
Lots of gluten free options! Yay!! I had the fiesta hot fried chicken. So very good!! It was comfortably warming and tasty spicy, not just hot spicy. I could only eat one piece. Huge portion! Hubby ate some and I have enough left over for another meal. The glass of Riesling I had complemented it nicely. Hubby had the fried oyster nachos ans shrimp and grits. Neither were gf, but he enjoyed them. He really liked the nachos! I didn’t get a pic of the shrimp and grits because I was all eyes on my fried chicken. Ha! Hubby admits he wished he had ordered something else for his entree. Great service! Very careful about my allergy. Delicious!!
Cam to get some Sunday brunch, we got the egg sandwich and the honey butter Benedict bother where really good 👍 amazing friendly service too. Thank you Roselle 👍 Yes, it is a little more $$ than other places, but that is the area. Yes, it can also be noisy when it is busy just like any other place.
The atmosphere and vibe was a perfect setting for a couple friends looking for a bite and an area to just unwind and chat. I enjoyed the outside seating with the red cushion chairs. It was nice as it overlooked the other shops in the section near the Quarry, with cute hanging lights everywhere. The food was delectable and my friends and I had the shareables (appetizers). We had pork belly with apple jam! Must try, unique combo for your taste buds! We also had pulled pork stuffed peppers....Yummmmmmy! Nothing was too heavy, including the main meal which were truffle chips(drool) and the fried egg sandwich! Good food all around! Our waitress Esme, was super hospitable, despite the fact she was attending to a really large party inside. She even offered us complimentary desserts for being patient customers. I can't complain, definitely will make the drive here again with my friends for another nice evening at this place.
Excellent food. Hands down, one of our favorite places in San Antonio. We ordered off of the brunch menu and were extremely impressed by our meal. Everything is clearly cooked when it's ordered, from scratch. The quality of the food was excellent, the flavors were matched perfectly together, and the ingredients were fresh. 10/10 will definitely be back.
My family and I came in the weekend after Thanksgiving. We were greeted at the door and seated quickly due to already having reservations. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. They keep the lights down low to create a warm atmosphere of the restaurant. Safety protocols were in place & enforced. I will be returning!
I have the best story about this place. I decided to come here with a few out of town friends for my birthday and made reservations for 8 pm. When we arrived at 8:05, they did not have a table available for us and the hostess made it sound like there may not be one available for at least half an hour (maybe longer). Most of the tables looked like everyone had just gotten there so our prospects were not looking so good. I expressed my concern and disappointment to the manager, especially since my friends were coming from Austin to eat, and that we expected to have a table already reserved. The manager could tell I was upset and decided to make up for it by getting us a bottle of champagne and 3 free desserts!!! He said he was sorry they didn't have a table ready and didn't want me to be sad on my birthday! How incredibly sweet! Not all managers would act this way. Amazing service. Food and drinks were delicious! Will definitely be going back!
1030 on Saturday and absolutely no wait. Our waiter was responsive and the whole staff seemed happy to be there. The avocado and crab toast was amazing as was the ham and cheese omelet (it also included vegetables) was delicious though the hollandaise sauce tasted like a white sauce instead.
Their expanded brunch selection was a welcome treat. Everything was good, including the grapefruit mimosa. They clearly try to do a good job with their breakfast items, and they've definitely succeeded. Wasn't always this way at this place, and it's good to see the changes they've incorporated in their menu.
Fantastic venue to host an event! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to host anything such as graduation, retirement, birthday, baby/bridal shower or farewell parties. The Max's Wine Dive team was very helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process with many options to match my party's needs. On the day of the event, our server was wonderful and made sure my guests and myself had a fantastic evening. All guests raved about the food, which was catered by Max's Wine Dive. Exceptional quality at a reasonable price point for hosting.
Went for date night! The Brussel sprouts were amazing! Max and cheese so delicious. Short braised ribs, blackened salmon and chocolate torte dessert were perfect. I always enjoy our meals here. Definitely coming back for more!
I've been coming here for three years now for their French toast on my cheat days. They've expanded their brunch menu and their fried chicken is always a treat. We came here on a Saturday noonish and there was no line, speedy and tentative service and great food! Also, $2 extra for eggs on the side and I swear to God there was 8 eggs in that side dish - love the value they're providing.
Absolutely love this place. I've never understood why it's not always full. We started with the cheese and charcuterie board and then I had the salmon and my wife the shirt rib. If you really want the Max's experience, get the fried chicken, it's unreal, I just wanted to venture out this visit. Nico was great and wine prices are fabulous. Give it a shot, you'll love it.
Wonderful food, wine, and service! Our waiter perfectly paced our 3 course meal and did an excellent job suggesting wine pairings and offering samples. My favourite part of the meal was the redfish with roasted broccoli! I don’t normally enjoy roasted broccoli but I was seasoned fantastically well and paired very nicely with the fish.
This I my first time here. Went on Wednesday evening for happy hour with my girlfriends. It wasn’t too busy and we had great service. They did run out of some drinks we wanted but wasn’t a big deal; the service made up for it. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. Decor is neat and welcoming. It’s close to Trader Joe’s so easy to find although parking might be harder to find unless you park in the parking garage and don’t mind the walking. I got lucky and found parking right in front.
My wife and I popped in Saturday night for a visit. It was slower than I expected but as always the meal was right on target. They have changed up their menu a bit but there are still lots of tasty options. I am still soliciting them to add the stuffed peppers back to the menu. They have a great wine selection as you would expect by the name and the servers and managers are just super nice and friendly. Stop by and give them a try.
This was my first time here. Carly was lovely and attentive! She answered all questions about the menu and had some great suggestions for drinks. Will definitely come here again. I’m looking forward to trying the brunch menu. A lot of healthy choices for dinner and the portion sizes were filling. Intimate atmosphere without feeling sleepy.
Great Service! Great Food! The beer list was a little lacking but the wine......so many choices on wine! The CheeseBoard was outstanding and the Scallops were cooked perfectly. Visited on a Monday, so it was a little slow. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to have some drinks, great food, and to still be able to have a conversation without having to scream.
My family and I attended this restaurant yesterday. The hospitality here was amazing. Great atmosphere, the food was excellent, outta site. Plenty of food for the price. Homemade food shows effort, those red skin mashed potatoes fabulous as well as the green with the spicy kick, the chicken freshly fried flavorful was tender and juicy..... Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I really like the San Antonio area. This is a must visit and I will Return again before I leave San Antonio Tx, and make sure to stop by every visit.
I have always loved this place but our annual Valentine's Day brunch last week was the absolute best!!! Covid procedures fully followed. Beautifully decorated, new menu, new manager. The honey butter chicken biscuit was to die for! The new manager, Ande, made us feel like family and endured that we had the best dining experience possible. I love this place more than ever and can't wait to go back super soon!
Can't say enough great things about this place. Somehow it took me 4 years to try it out (something about it being called a "Dive" just didn't capture my interest years ago...) But Max's is anything but a dive bar. The menu selection and gourmet chef inspired plates here is enough to bring anyone back salivating for more. What's more, is that EVERY time we go, the friendly customer service and attention they give you is just top notch. The owner is also very involved and welcoming to all guests. This has without a doubt become one of our favorite places to go in such a short amount of time. Highly recommend!!
1st time at this location. It was Fabulous! From the Ambiance to the service, to the Food- delicious! Carleigh was our server. Made some amazing recommendations and took really good care of us! The food choices were wonderful! Try the Fried Cauliflower, oh my goodness it was so good! We did a wine pairing that was really awesome! Needless to say we will be back for Valentines!
Saturday brunch at Max''s Wine Dive was a great choice. There are some unique takes on comfort food on the menu. I wanted to try them all. Settled on the Grits n Greens. So glad I did. The grits were cooked to perfection and the greens were a lively complement. My husband had their famous fried chicken and was not disappointed. Mom would have been proud...our plates were clean when we were done! The service was prompt and anytime a server walked by with water they checked to refill ours. Loved that attention. Gotta try the Froze' drink. Can't wait to go back to try something else!
Perfect place to unwind. The food is fresh and perfectly plated. I love the dim lighting and casual atmosphere. The attentive service is a plus. This last visit my burger was not cooked to the temperature i ordered but the server was quick to replace it. The manager on duty stopped by to reaffirm that our needs had been met. Overall great time with yummy food and stellar service! Will be back for more of that.
Excelente comida y la atención personalizada lo hacen de 5 estrellas.
👍👍👍
Really great place, excelent menu with small plate options, very varied, something for everyone. Outstanding wine list, tried a few and they were all very nice. Service was excellent, dessert took too long and they gave it to us on the house, along with complimentary glasses of dessert wine. Dropped a star only because, for a wine place, the wine was served too warm, and this should be something they should be able to always get right if they're going to advertise themselves as being a wine place. The wine glass was also hot from being recently cleaned, which also contributed to warm wine. A light red, such as a Pinot Noir, should be ideally served at about 55°. I'd still recommend this place and would go again.
Quite an extensive wine list. Not too many beers, but this is a WINE dive so I wasn't too disappointed. I had the Signature Blend Burger. It was juicy and delicious. My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits. He said it was wonderful and ate every last bite. The waitress recommended some good wine options and we had a lovely evening. 🍷
Found this wine bar through google. My husband and I went for the wine and found out they have a food menu as well that we will try next time. Ms. Andi, Ms. Karleigh, and Mr. Lane took excellent care of us. Hopefully when we go back, they will be there. Ms. Karleigh and Mr. Lane made wonderful recommendations for us. Ask for them when you go. Also, one of the best best part of the bar, is the lamp. It's like a statue, it's a major award lol you will know when you see it.
The food made up for the super rude hostess. We had made reservations for 6 for Mother’s Day and my cousin last minute said he would be able to make it. I asked the hostess if we could just add a chair to the end of our table and she straight up told me no. With out any sympathy or remorse. When she sat us I asked her again and pointed at the empty chairs and all the space in between the tables. She said again very rudely no. Luckily our waitress got there and my uncle asked and she didn’t hesitate. She grabbed a chair and put it right where I had asked the hostess. The food was delicious.
Highly recommend this place. The food was excellent and so was the wine. The only issue we had was it took a while to get our food, however they were really busy. It was on a Saturday evening when we went in and they were having an event on the patio so that could of been the reason. Definitely going back and again do recommend.
It was my first time here. We were a party of three and were greeted right away. We had to wait almost an hour to get seated but it’s understandable since it was Sunday at noon. Ambiance is chic and great music. I get Austin vibe here with hipster servers, eco friendly straws and pet friendly. Loved it! We were just for drinks. I guess we have to visit again to try the full menu. Good job!
Great, prompt service. The food was good. We had the chicken and waffles which was a good combination of savory and mild sweetness. The honey-butter benedict with potatoes was good as well, nothing mind blowing. Looking to try other items on the menu in the future.
This is a perfect lunch/dinner spot when out shopping the great Quarry area. My GFs and I pop in to experience the great wine list available as well as the fantastic food. I LOVE the fried chicken here and find it hard to not order it EVERY time we stop by. It is so savory. It is a relatively small space and can fill up fast during peak hours. I really love this for lunch. The staff are very friendly, service is solid.
Great food. Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. I like this atmosphere. Fairly cozy but not cramped. Wine is in the title and the wine selection is pretty fair, but also has dive in the title so you can dress casually and feel comfortable. Brunch here was awesome. I believe its on weekends. The fried chicken is really good. The fried deviled eggs are a real treat.
I’ve been here twice. The first time, the server was horrible and I thought I wouldn’t be back. She was amazingly rude to our table and we ended up leaving before we ordered food. The second time, though, it was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was really good. Cute outside patio! The wine is a little highly priced, but makes sense for the area.
Really enjoyed my first experience here but the second wasn't nearly as good. The apps came out at very different times, my burger was overcooked and the egg on it was well done, which was certainly not what most people would want on their burger. The staff is great and very friendly. There was one drunk guy walking around the whole time we were there and every once in a while he would say something strange to us, but none of the staff seemed to be bothered by him so we figured he was harmless.
My husband and I visited this place a while ago. It's kind of pricey in my opinion however it was date night so be didn't mind to spurge. We had the oyster nachos, salad and the fried chicken. The chicken was perfect. I am a southern girl from GA so I know good fried chicken and Max's has it. Everything else was just ok but because the chicken was so good I'm giving them a four.
A large and comprehensive wine list at average prices and a reasonable wine by the glass list though the pours are a little light for the price. Fried chicken and Champagne is not a bad idea though there's plenty of other items on the menu I think I'd try first. Sitting at the bar, the service was excellent and the bartender knew her wines and was fast on offering refills. It's a shame that the happy hour isn't a bit more generous but still it's a good place to go if you just want to kick back and relax.
The Ambiance was rather dark, noisy and crowded. We went for brunch and was seated at the bar. The wait staff was attentive. The menu has a large selection of comfort food and the portions are enormous. I had the Wings and Waffles and it did not disappoint. My friend, ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and was pleased with the portion size and quality of food. The Mimosas were amazing. I will return for the Chicken-Fried Steak.
OK they're known for they're fried chicken... It was good but WAY to greasy. Mash potatoes were excellent and calamari as well. Salads were average. Slice of sardine on a Caesar salad was not good. Dessert was good not great. Excellent wine selection. In my opinion place is overpriced. Classy place though. Music (jukebox)didn't seem to go with the restaurant. Not sure if we'll try again. Couldn't rate above on food. If you love paying for high prices on this kind of food, then this is for you. Lucky to get 3 stars. Sorry.
Cute & cozy....tucked away in the classy Alamo Quarry. I dig the ambience and open kitchen... extremely diverse wine list and an A+ bartender/server. I'd have given more stars and pics if there were at least 1 more item on the menu I wanted to order available on that patiently day...kind of a bummer. I want to believe it was because it was a Friday and they were setting for Brunch. Regardless I will give it another go...I think k it will be all the worth it🤩
Overall enjoyed dinner with friends here. Had a burger that was tasty and sampled some of my friends food that was also good. I do, however, feel like the food is way overpriced. Our service was good, but we were 1 of 2 tables there and it still took a seemingly long time to get our food... I don't think I would return as I could get food just as good (or better) quicker, for cheaper.
We were seated at 630, ordered at 645 (already ran out of ribs), received the max n cheese appetizer at about 720. (Bland and undercooked). Two tables who arrived after us received their food before us. We finally received our entrees at 820. We ordered the salmon, fried chicken, and burger. The salmon was very good, the chicken was good, a little spicy. The burger was undercooked, but otherwise would have been good. The risotto was bland and luke warm. To their credit, they apologized for the wait and offered us free dessert and extra chicken and risotto. They ultimately comped the appetizer. Overall, the service was slow, but courteous, and the food was hit or miss. Sadly, I won't be back.
I want to first say this has always been my go to place. I only make this review because I know the owners will make the changes to fix this and I gave it three stars because I’ve visited before many times and I have had better experiences. Today was by far the worst experience ever. It’s very sad that people forget how many other places you could be going to spend your hard earned cash these days. I had been raving to my daughter all summer about the fried chicken at Max’s and couldn’t wait until she returned to the state to try it. We couldn’t enjoy the meal because the service was just meh! We came at happy hour and was handed a menus and seated. Our waitress (who pretended not to hear us the entire time yet had no trouble hearing all the other guest) cane over and asked us for our order. We order later to hear Our waitress taking the time to explain the happy hour menu to everyone. Everyone she came to our table she seemed rushed and occupied. When the She only had three tables (I counted). She didn’t even make eye contact with me. It was a very awkward experience. The food and atmosphere has ALWAYS been the reason I’ve chose this place for a laid back Friday girls night. However, customer service training is a great tool to use when it comes to wait staff.
Fancy food that looks amazing. Taste is okay. Not a place for children. Atmosphere is nothing special. My children hated the mac-n-cheese. The chicken fried steak was mediocre. Service was standard. My boyfriend did have to get his own drink 3x. We did talk to manager. No results. Glad we went once, Won't go again, Wouldn't recommend.
My husband and I went for brunch today and we had not so great service. We had reservations for 11am. Our waiter with the “blue bandana” as a face mask had this attitude like we were bothering him. He didn’t look like he wanted to be there and his service was reflective of this. I ordered the chicken with waffles and my husband had the egg sandwich. My chicken was burnt and the eggs were undercooked after I requested to have them cooked over hard. We also ordered two bottles for Mimosas. We didn’t say anything to our waiter since he only checked on us once while we were there for two hours. Overall...not pleased with Max’s today considering we have been there numerous times prior. Hopefully the next person will have better service and a better experience. I don’t think we will back.
I would not really recommend this place on the grounds that everything is way overpriced for what you get. The wine list is the only impressive aspect of this restaurant, but the food could be better quality. The fried chicken that they pride themselves on is the worst chicken I have ever had. The drumstick had a slimy texture that tasted slightly fishy and was more than enough to kill my appetite. The decor is nice and the waitstaff are great. If I ever come back, it will only be for the wine.
Surprisingly Poor. We've been to Max's several times, always enjoyed the food and appreciated their good service even when the place was busy -- until this last time. On our most recent visit, a Friday around 7:30 PM, it was not busy, we were seated immediately upon arrival, and there were plenty of servers and other staff visible. Still, it was some time before we were even offered water, and most of an hour before the first of our food arrived at the table. We ordered fried chicken, and after 20 minutes I started watching for our waiter to inquire when it might arrive. After nary a sight of him for 10 minutes more after that, I had to go inside to find him to ask after our food -- which did arrive a few minutes later, without apology or explanation. The food was good, but not up to our expectation based on previous visits. Max's (used to?) pride themselves on the wine knowledge offered by their servers, but when we asked our for a recommendation, he said nothing at all. That did impact our enjoyment that night, but is also a real loss to them -- we've bought several bottles and even cases from Max's after good recommendations from their servers. We asked to speak to the manager, who appeared after several minutes, though that was the first time we'd seen her that night. She apologized and offered to comp the meal, but again, offered no explanation and honestly, I don't know that we'll give them another chance. The bill would have been about $90 with tip for one shared appetizer, one shared entree and four glasses of modest wine and for that price I expect much more than we received that night.
Disappointing!!! 1. Service was bad by our waiter. Got our order wrong, brought out our entree with our appetizers and rarely checked in on us. Bad attitude also. 2. $20 for 3 pieces of Chicken that were dry and flavorless. We had heard a lot of good things about the chicken so we were disappointed. Good things... 1. The hamburger Sliders tasted awesome!!!
My husband and I decided to try this place out a few weekends ago and it was a mess. Our waiter was great, the wine and drinks came out quickly and were tasty, and the appetizer we ate was delicious. However, after waiting patiently for over 30 minutes our food was no where to be found. They had a few tables inside, a few out, and a small party that somehow slammed the kitchen. Everyone in the front of house was extremely apologetic and handled the situation as best as they could, but it doesn't excuse the lack of organization in the back of house. We might give them another try in the future but I their kitchen needs to get it together.
Very disappointing. Our food was either undercooked or barely cooked enough. The done-ness on everything varied, even food on the same plate. Overall taste of everything we tried, mediocre. $19 fried chicken that can't touch other much cheaper fried chicken from smaller restaurants. Actually the first thing I thought was, mine at home is a little better (and I'm no chef at all). Two stars because the service and atmosphere were both good. Probably a better place to just get drinks, eat before you go.
Their fried chicken, for which they are "famous" for, was raw and translucent pink. We had to send it back. Management put on an initial good show, apologizing and offering two deserts. But then they forgot about the deserts. The waitress disappeared in back forgetting we were there. Took 35 mins to get check, after I flagged down the manager to get it for us, the same manager who promised deserts and forgot. They comped $4.25 off a very expensive meal. They still get 2 stars because my meal was well prepared, tasty, and well presented, and I hope to god that this is not the norm for how this restaurant is run.
I went during COVID not knowing what to expect? I will say this is the worst way I've spent $160! I will not recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately we've been here plenty of times, and this by far has been the worst experience! My short rib plate was more fat than meat and tasted horrible. My husband had shrimp & grits and we both left majority of our plates untouched! I decided to order a chicken leg, because the plate was nasty. My chicken leg was so bloody. I think for the price I paid this is highly unacceptable! Things need to be drastically changed, otherwise business will deteriorate. Thinking because of the slower volume of customers, our experience would be exceptional and clearly wasn't. I wish I could receive a refund!
I got the gluten-free fried chicken (I have Celiacs.) The chicken came out raw on the inside and I had it sent back. I received an apology from multiple people, which was nice, and a brand new order was made and a new plating as well ( the dish included mashed potatoes and greens.) I was so disgusted from how was it was served initially I couldn't eat much of the second attempt. I do regret having not taken a picture of the inside of the fried chicken initially, but I was so thrown off by it that it was not a priority in that moment. A manager came by and said I'd be getting a gluten-free dessert on the house, which was an appropriate and kind gesture. The thing is, the dessert never came out.... For a place that boasts about having the "best fried chicken" I was extremely disappointed. Hey, if the gluten won't kill ya, the Salmonella will!
I recall coming to Max's the first time over a year ago and everything was wonderful, especially the service. Each visit since then has been a steady decline with today's visit probably being our last. As much as I enjoyed the food in the past, the poor service just isn't worth it. No kidding, for the last hour there have been 3 employees and manager gathered around a front register having a great time....no work being done at all. We had to ask for someone to come take our order...and today takes the cake...raw fried chicken!! Sorry Max...wont be returning.
Came to this spot for brunch and was disappointed! The food is pricey which normally isn't an issue if the food and service are worth it but that was def not the case. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to come bring us WATER. Took another 10-15 mins to to even take our order and an HOUR for our food to come to the table! When the food arrived it was barley even warm. Shrimp tacos were basically just packed with egg and almost no shrimp. Our waitress was extremely rude any time we asked for anything. A couple next to us asked about their order and her response was "give us a bit, its brunch we're busy." The only reason I gave 1 star was because of their fried chicken. It was good, barely warm but still good. Don't plan on returning! You can get better service, food, and prices some where else.
We ate here about five years ago and it was really good. It has clearly gone totally down hill since then. We dined here for brunch two weekends ago, and our service was atrocious, some of the worst in my life. We waited over an hour for our food, even though there was not many customers. And our waitress never checked on us for topping off beverages, even though she was spotted numerous times chatting with co workers at the register. When food finally arrived after involving the management, it was cold and not very good. We will not be back and we do not recommend anyone go here.
Don’t go here. The service is terrible. We sat at the bar and stared at the manager and the back of the bartender’s head for 15 minutes without being helped. When we finally flagged a manager down, the bartender standing in front of us finally realized we were there. We weren’t the only ones who walked out early that day due to the lack of service. We ordered a cauliflower appetizer, which took 30 minutes to arrive. Meanwhile the cooks were more interesting in chatting with each other than cooking. The appetizer was terrible. We told management we’d never come back, which we will uphold and recommend that no one else does either. The only positive was they ensure the security of a lost phone, which we promptly collected after we realize it was gone.
