Something about small town Dairy Queen just taste better and served with local hospitality. The lady through the window was nice and friendly and fast. Food was very good and fresh

First of all, this is a DQ so expectations should be set accordingly. My brother and I were out motorcycle riding and stopped here on a Sunday early afternoon for a snack and to rest for a few minutes. The DQ was clean, the menu had a little bit of everything (sadly, no coffee), and the pricing was reasonable. The young lady who took our order did a very nice job and the food and drinks were fine. It certainly met my expectations.

DQ has a good manager at this location. I have often come in and observed him providing training for his staff. I have always had a good experience here. I am neither from nor do I live in Stockdale but but my job takes me through there quite often. DQ in often in my dining rotation when I'm there during normal business hours. If there is any sort of corporate oversight, I hope they recognize this location for their good service. When I receive good service at a business I like to give positive feedback and online reviews since the service industry is so deplorable in the 21st century. I'm giving them a 5 Star fleet admiral review. I have been a customer here for almost three years.

Super clean, service was fast and polite. This is definitely an above average restaurant. You can tell they care about quality and old school style customer service. Was happy and will definitely go back given the opportunity. Alyssa was our very friendly cashier and she brought our food out. A+ all around

Outstanding Dairy Queen! We stopped here in a road trip for a restroom break and some food... To our surprise the bathrooms were cleaner than a Bucees! and the food was pretty good too! I highly recommend stopping here for good food and clean bathrooms!

I don’t usually choose DQ, however it was the only food option open for miles. Just WOW WOW WOW. Liam in the drive through was super polite and patient. The food came out quick. And best part: IT WAS PERFECTION. whoever made this burger has some skills. The temperate was perfect, ratios of toppings perfect. I gobbled this in minutes it was soooo good. Love this location!

Waited 45 mins for a box of chicken strips and I saw a man ask about his chicken strips due to a long wait as well. The worker basically said oops gave it to the wrong customer, after calling him a liar about not receiving his food. THEN THREW THE BOX OF CHICKEN STRIPS AT HIM! And told the man to get out! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. This place will never change they continue to hire people that don’t care about their job even the manager sucks and acts like he doesn’t care about his job either. The owner needs to go there when the workers aren’t expecting it to see how they really act. We live in a small town this is the only place we can get quick food/ice cream.

Ordered a taco salad and after receiving it at our table with no taco sauce. I went to counter to get some, they informed me they were out and walked away. Would have been nice to know while ordering I told them. Went back up later and ordered a banana split. Few minutes later older lady from the back came out and told me “I hate to burst your bubble but we don’t have any bananas” and walked away. Had to go back to the counter and ask to get my money back. Horrible experience, awful customer service. With attitude like this in a place of business that serves food, what other short comings they have. Food preparation, food safety any number of things. Very unprofessional outlook on service for a business.

I'm pretty upset. I just stopped by on my way home from work and this is what I got... I thought it was a mistake so I went back through the drive thru and they explained it's the only size spoon they have. 🤦‍♂️ Why would you sell someone a large and give them such a small spoon??

Went here at about 830 or so at night on July 3. No signs anywhere until you walk in that an ice cream place has no ice cream! (And it wasn't like the machine was being fixed so there would be ice cream...nope. Just none). Then the soda machine in the front lobby was down so we could only get what they had in the drive through machine. The food was overcooked...ordered cheese bites (dqs version of cheese curds) and they actually served them with most of them being exploded. My burger must have been sitting in the drawer for a while because it tasted like shoe leather. My husband's chicken sandwich was dry and the fries were rock hard. The staff acted as if we were bothering them by being there. Don't think I'll be returning to this location!! Yuck!

They don't even try to answer the phone they just hang up on you.....got another number for them they leave it off the hook then when you get up here the spoiled brats are rude as heck
