Boxing Day lunch was top-notch!!! Excellent dishes, impeccable service, and a magnificent location surrounded by greenery!
Quiet and relaxing place just steps from the city
We turned to them for our daughter's graduation dinner. I highly recommend it because everything was impeccable: delicious food, helpfulness and kindness, and a wonderful location. Thank you.
A wonderful place with very friendly staff, excellent first courses, and an exceptional cheese selection. Highly recommended
I returned after the summer holidays for lunch with friends. The service and quality of the food were excellent, especially the sliced beef and cured meats. The location is perfect, and the staff are delightful. Highly recommended, especially for golfers who can also take advantage of the driving range and the six FIG-approved holes.
We celebrated a graduation there, and I have nothing but compliments for how they supported us with their helpfulness, suggestions, and solutions. The cold, rainy day was remedied by a welcoming atmosphere (a stove with an open fire), professional yet friendly service, and a truly well-crafted menu with much-appreciated extemporaneous options (such as the succulent cotechino). The bill was very fair. A definite reference in the Pavia area. Note: The view of the golf driving range is breathtaking.
Reading the reviews, I'm a bit surprised by the complaints about the location and the food. For those of you from Pavia, you know that places like this don't exist. One of a kind. The portico, meticulously maintained, evokes emotions like a painting on a bright, sunny day. The scent of jasmine is intoxicating and beautiful to admire in bloom. The view of the golf course is like seeing a blend of different shades of green. Relaxing. And the noise is completely absent. (Some of you might even hear your own thoughts.) One very important thing not to underestimate. There are no mosquitoes! Practically a dream in Pavia! And not because they've been spared, but simply because they invest money and time in pest control. As for the food, I imagine that those who write the reviews are more or less all chefs. 🤣 The dishes are delicious. They come from home-grown culture and the products used are high-quality. Then, if a "cold" dish arrives at a table full of people, well, I'd let it go... it can happen at Cracco's too. The staff is definitely above average! They love what they do and do it well. Everyone is kind and helpful. We go there as often as we can, even if not as often as we'd like. But we love this place, and I thank the owners, who, despite criticism and gossip, resist adversity, providing a lunch or dinner that speaks not only of the food, but of hospitality, location, and emotion. Thank you!
I was here today for lunch with my partner. Thanks to this beautiful day, we ate outside, and it was truly lovely! A quiet place overlooking a golf course, very kind and welcoming staff, and excellent dishes in terms of variety, quantity, and quality! The only downside to a perfect lunch was that all the risottos could only be ordered for two (which halved the choice of first courses), but it didn't matter! The house wine was good, and the bill was truly affordable! We had the Hermione appetizer, which was a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and other delicacies that we easily shared between two people. Then there were pumpkin-filled tortelli and a bacon-filled omelette with caramelized onion tortelli. Wine, water, and coffee, and we spent just over €70!! I recommend it and will definitely be back to enjoy a quick lunch in a quiet atmosphere!
A beautiful establishment nestled among the greenery of the golf courses near the Ticino River. The menu offers seasonal dishes made with largely locally sourced ingredients, a plus not to be underestimated. The selection is excellent, ranging from traditional classics to tastefully chosen modern touches. The price is reasonable considering the location, food, and service (about €35/person for three generous sharing appetizers, three first courses, a second course, four desserts, wine, coffee, and liqueurs). I'll definitely be back.
I went there today for lunch with friends. If I could, I would have ordered everything on the menu. In the end I opted for a Hermione appetizer (mixture of cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, house pickled vegetables and citrus jam made by them) and a plate of pumpkin and amaretti ravioli. These last ones really surprised me, because I expected them to be very sweet, but instead the flavor was really balanced. Very good. The desserts were equally good, I had a sabbiosa cake (phenomenal). To all this, we can add the very kind staff. We were really happy, we will be back.
👍👍👍👏👏👏BRAVO !
Very good food at more than decent price. The "risotto alla bonarda con salsiccia" is really extraordinary.
Excellent service, good food, welcoming atmosphere, well-kept panorama that gives serenity
A quiet farmhouse just outside Pavia. Naturally located opposite a golf course and bordering the Ticino River. Excellent food, and very friendly and attentive staff. We'll be back as soon as the weather permits, and we can eat on the veranda. A must-try.
We celebrated one of our cousins' first birthday at this agriturismo, and I admit I was biased, as I'm not a fan of traditional Pavia dishes; in fact, the few things I've tried in Pavia that I've genuinely enjoyed have always been ethnic cuisines. This time, however, I was completely blown away, right from the appetizers: a blend of tradition and innovation, a near-perfect combination. My sincere compliments for the pumpkin jam, which was incredibly delicious both on its own and paired with cheeses. I love when sweet and savory contrasts are offered, and this one was truly excellent. The meatballs were delicious, as was the potato, bean, and sausage tart, and the pumpkin and gorgonzola flan. The only flaw I found was the mixed cured meat platter: living in Piacenza, I found them far removed from the Emilian concept of cured meat. It was a lot, but very fresh, whereas we naturally prefer it at least partially aged. The still red wine was excellent, while I didn't appreciate the sparkling one as much, at least for the same flavor. Otherwise, both the rice first course and the braised meat second course were delicious. I was pleased to see a lunch spread out so long, allowing me to appreciate each individual course, as well as the scenery outside. The large expanse of greenery, in fact, soothes and calms in a way I never imagined a golf course could. Fantastic for a stroll. It's nice to be able to change your mind and be pleasantly surprised. The staff was very attentive throughout our stay and friendly in their service. My only regret was that I felt a bit heartburn at the end of the meal, as I rarely experience this, even during substantial lunches or dinners. Perhaps I was leaving feeling unwell. In any case, it was a great exercise for the taste buds, as well as a lovely opportunity to get together with family.
Agriturismo Hermione is the perfect place for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming setting. The food is delicious, with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and excellent gluten-free options. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. Plus, the prices are incredibly affordable, making this experience even more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place!
I'm giving it one star because it's the worst possible. It was terrible. There was a beetle cooked in the porcini mushroom pasta, which was also overcooked, tasteless, and cold. They even charged us for it as if it were nothing. The worst place I've ever eaten.
Except for the cured meats and cheeses, which give this review the one star it deserves, the rest was a complete disaster. Service was slow and poor. We ordered borage ravioli, pumpkin ravioli, rigatoni with mint pesto, risotto, and tagliolini with truffle. The dishes were dry and butterless; both the ravioli and tagliolini were lumpy. The rigatoni were cold. We decided to continue, given the happy occasion and the desire to enjoy the moment without any hassle. When the main courses arrived, we remained unsure about the manzo tonnato. Red meat, covered in a dollop of tuna mayonnaise. The birthday girl, not a fan of raw-looking meat, asked if she could change her dish. The waitress replied, "The dishes have already been prepared," and she left the table. Unfortunately, the manzo tonnato was inedible; the meat and sauce were so salty that she couldn't distinguish the flavors. Not to mention the old, stale grated cheese, and the green beans on the tagliata that tasted like hospital food, salty. We politely and respectfully informed the waitress of the problem. She offered us a different main course. While we tried to find an alternative, the chef came out of the kitchen and loudly and contemptuously expressed his displeasure at the criticism of his dish's poor quality, angrily repeating, "What's salty?!" Obviously, we no longer felt like eating, and we considered taking the cake we'd brought from the bakery and leaving without finishing the celebration at the farmhouse. The most unrealistic situation occurred at the register. The lady at the counter was already loading the price into the POS terminal, and we asked to see the receipt before paying. All the Manzi Tonnati had been added to the bill, justifying the choice by saying that two diners had forced themselves to eat it, and therefore it was good. It's truly absurd to see how certain restaurateurs have zero self-criticism. In fact, previous reviews demonstrate that the food quality is inconsistent, and unfortunately, the experience at Agriturismo Hermione depends on the day. First of all, we tried their menu for dinner on a Saturday, about three weeks ago, and we had a great time. What a disappointment!
